the opening scene to this show is the most unexpected thing ever. I was so shocked. but I knew immediately this was going to have a more mature and adult tone and I was excited.

this is a cute, fluffy rom-com that will make you laugh out loud and cry (at least I did...).

it showed adults going through their lives and finding people they want to spend the rest of there lives with.

toto was such a pookie bear and was so funny. Tay did an incredible job making him believable and just the most precious thing ever. kanit was also hilarious and it was so fun watching him begin to love Toto and himself. new did a great job making him posh but likeable. and their chemistry just put the cherry on top (cherry magic reference? yes yes). this could've been mid but their chemistry and the clear strong relationship between them just made the characters real, funny, and relatable.

I will warn if you hate when shows resolve a problem in the same episode you will hate this. I do feel some of the issues couldve been dragged out longer, especially cause they weren't miscommunication. I think 12 episodes would've honestly worked well too. but it's also supposed to be funny and fast paced so I get the choice.

akki and veha were cute but I've seen better side couples. and GMMTV what the actual fuck was that hairstyle you put on veha in ep10. crime. actual crime.

it did not top cherrymagic for me, but It was so entertaining and I had a great time. if I ever needed something to rewatch when I just finished something that ruined me. this is a perfect option.

Genuinely Funny, Great Chemistry

I love when you can tell that actors have worked together for a long time, and that's exactly how I felt watching Tay and New in Dog and a Plane. It's obvious from the start that the two actors understand each other very well, and this is especially apparent in the way they play off each other in comedic moments, and the chemistry they bring in the romantic ones. For a show to be funny in its native language is one thing; for the humor to translate into another language is another talent. This one was genuinely funny, even translated, and was super fun to watch. While it wasn't some deep, emotional show and maybe could've created a little more intrigue or tension in some places, it was still a great time.

Kanit (New) is a flight attendant with a pilot boyfriend, doing very well for himself. During a luggage switch-up, he ends up with the suitcase of rescuer Toto (Tay), meaning all of Kanit's designer clothes were replaced with Toto's cheap and rugged ones. Toto capitalizes on this switch up to try out some luxurious clothing, and ends up paying the price when he gets into a fight, Kanit's clothes get destroyed, and Kanit wants him to pay up. Unable to pay with cash, Toto enters into a deal with Kanit: determine if Kanit's pilot boyfriend is cheating on him. As Toto investigates Kanit's (obviously) cheating boyfriend, he starts to fall in love with Kanit himself.

I really enjoyed this series, especially the first half where Toto was trying to find evidence that Kanit's boyfriend was cheating on him. As a viewer, you're almost immediately aware of the answer, but watching Toto try to prove it was super fun. Then, the development of the relationship between Kanit and Toto was wonderful. I really enjoyed the tension between the characters, Toto's boldness in pursuing Kanit, and the comfortability that Tay and New brought to these characters. Not to mention, this show was super funny! Toto's over the top pursuit of Kanit was hilarious. Plus, Mond and Ryu's roles were a great complement to Tay and New, and I was super invested in their storyline too. Overall, a great comedy that you don't need to take too seriously.

It’s only the 2nd episode but i absolutely love how human this series is. The funny moments are genuinely funny the chaotic flirting is ridiculous in the best way and out of nowhere it hits you with something so relatable.To watch Kanit excitedly prepare for his anniversary dinner just to be disappointed hurt far more than it should. Toto’s quiet yearning was not something i expected so soon but I cried a little there.
A Dog And A Plane is chaotic, silly , unhinged ,heartfelt and TayNew make it all work. Newwiee makes Kanit’s emotions so real, the hesitation before he speaks, the disappointment he tries to hide,the way his face falls,the joy on his face when he thinks of Lion or even the annoyance yet intrigue he shows towards Toto, his face say everything before a dialogue does. Tay Tawan as Toto doesn’t feel like a performance at all.He is so natural that everything he does feels like he exists. A character that could have been so over-the-top instead feels very alive , grounded and surprisingly warm.
I am pleasantly surprised. 18months was worth the wait because, if this is how things are starting, I can’t even imagine what’s coming next. I absolutely cannot wait.

I went into this show with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I think this is the first series I’ve watched with Tay and New as the main leads, and wow, I loved it. Their chemistry is insane. They have this natural connection that’s hard to find. I’m definitely going to check out their other series! Plus, we’ve got Mond, Ryu, and Tui. How can you not love that?

I loved how an unexpected meeting turned into this chaotic, messy, imperfect love story that somehow grew into something totally genuine and heartfelt. It’s the kind of story that could literally happen to anyone, which makes it even better. I have to confess, my absolute favorite moment was when the cheating ex got exposed. I also really loved Kanit and Veha’s maturity.

"So this is what it feels like to be a whore."

I would give my life for Tay and New, so you know I ate this shit up. Overall, I would give it a 9.15 out of 10. Then I am going to say my likes and dislikes, do an episode review, and lay this baby to rest.

Right off the bat, there is a lot to unpack, but starting with what I like, I am going to talk about the main cast, because I loved everyone in there. Starting off with my boys Tay and New, I think I really fell in love with them in Cherry Magic, so you know I was so excited for this shit, and they did not disappoint. I think that Newie is such a sexy fuck, even with that disgusted, confused look on his face twenty-four seven, but he did a good job with this. Also, Tay did his big one; I think he was definitely bringing it home in terms of this show's comedy, and he really did his job because I was fucking dying (and trying to ride that nose, but let's not sweat the small stuff). Their chemistry was good, and it felt really natural in most parts because they were having pretty relatable issues. Love to see it. Three big booms for Tay and New. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.

Next up, MondRyu and, of course, LYKN's one and only handsome Tui. Do I like Mond and Ryu together? Meh, I will get back to you on that one. Did I think they did a good job in this show? Yes, they did, so I will give them that. Ryu playing the side piece and Mond playing some guy who was way into helping with the cheating, but yeah, they had a lot of really funny moments and had me laughing pretty much the whole time. And finally, my sweet, doting husband, Tui. Love him to pieces, so seeing him in this was a true delight. He was a background character, I will admit that, but I think he still did a good job making this show even more enjoyable.

Despite the plot of this show actually being so random (because why are an EMT and a flight attendant falling in love (twice because the side couple is that same plot)), it had one of my favorite tropes in it, and that being when the characters are each other's type. This is actually such a random trope, but they did it well, and I loved every second of it. Like they were going from an enemies-to-lovers vibe at the start, which I loved, but New was also exactly Tay's type, and oh my god, I bout nutted on the screen when he said that. I'm done.

I also really liked how Ryu had a crush on Mond in high school. I thought that was actually really cute, and it wasn't a necessary plot point, but because of the way they wrote it out, it felt very natural and fun.

I think I was a bit irritated while watching this because I just wanted them to fall in love immediately after getting rid of the ex, but I am glad they didn't. I mean, he was going to get married to that man, for crying out loud; it's hard to just "move on" after that. So I liked that they waited until Newie was really ready to be with another person and start over. (I think my episode 6 reaction summed up their dynamic in the show so far pretty well: "Sure, he does not have a car, does not have a house, low-key broke as fuck, picked you up in an ambulance, but he would never cheat on you. He would never treat you like you are lesser, by the way, if you even care. Right. He would never come to your friend's fucking birthday party uninvited and propose to you and make you feel bad after he cheated on you for a year, by the way, in case you were fucking wondering.")

I love Pailin (or however you spell it, I am not going to check); she is the fucking goat.

The amount of fourth-wall breaks this show has me sick...in a good way, especially the ending one; that was so fucking funny, I'm gonna cry.

Flipping over to the stuff I didn't like, why did we keep trying to make our relationship with the ex work? I will answer that, because that shit is so realistic. Despite me not liking it as a plot point and also me not liking cheating, I truly think that that is one of the most realistic parts in this whole show. He really wanted to believe that his man wouldn't do that to him ("The government wouldn't do that" oh yes, they would), that he loved him and just needed time, but as they crept closer and closer to the final reveal, it finally hit him, and even then he didn't want to believe it because that's what love is. When you are with someone for that long and expect to marry them, when they do something like cheating, it's completely out of the question until you see it in front of your face, and even then you don't want to believe it. So I don't like it, not because it's bad plot writing, but because it's realistic lmao.

I hate Toto's mom, and I hate that they wanted us to feel bad for her, MAN FUCK HER. It is one thing leaving your grown kid for a foreigner; it's another thing LEAVING YOUR KID WHO'S IN HIGH SCHOOL ALONE FOR THAT FOREIGNER. Girl, bye, you are an awful mom.

Episode overview time. Episode 1: "THIS WAS SO FUCKING FUNNY OH MY GOD. I swear ppl don't like taynew, but THEY ARE MY SHITTTT, I LOVE THESE TWO. ESPECIALLY NEWIE, I DO NOT PLAY ABOUT THAT GROWN ASS MAN, I SWEAR. Him with Lion is so funny bc New hardly tolerates Tay, let alone another guy. Mond is so into his role I am hollerin, and I love Tui to pieces. I still don't know how I feel about Mond and Ryu, but you know, that's fine. They have a power dynamic in this, I think, which should be interesting, but yeah, this shit is so funny, and I need it all out right now, because fuck, I have been waiting for this show for so long." Episode 3: "We hate lying, but not if it's our man? rightttt." Episode 4: " Mond, this is not even your man. Why are we so angry? IM HOLLERIN. He is doing this for the love of the game right now. I think the crazy part about this is that he is not even friends with the guy who got cheated on. He is just doing this for the love of the game. Because why? New is trying so hard not to laugh lmao. The guy in the back of the theater who passed out has me dead. COMMENT ON THE NOSE JOB WAS CRAZYYY. Aweeee, he had a crush on him in high school, and now he's a hoe. Sing it, babbyyyy. How is the restaurant letting them get away with this? Lmaoo. He got caught, and he is still lying to you, bro. They are having too much fun with this. Just lost both your hoes in the span of like four minutes. If he cheated to get with you, he is going to cheat on you again." Episode 7: "I can eat cheap with you, but I cannot eat expensive with you. It is low-key deep as fuck." Episode 8: "PAILIN WITH THE LOB, SHOUT OUT MY GIRL. I LOVE THEM. KANIT'S EX WRECKED HIS SELF-ESTEEM, BUT THANK GOD TOTO LOWKEY A BOSS, SO HE'S LIKE FUCK NO." Episode 10: "Hello, marriage, even though we literally got engaged 10 minutes ago. Are they another married couple under GMTV's belt? Love to see it. There is something about these flight attendants that would rather date EMTs than pilots. Because why are we both flight attendants dating EMTs? I will answer that because we both got cheated on by the same man who happened to be a pilot." "Tay always looks like he wants New so bad, and New just looks at him like, okay, who even are you, babe? WE ARE SO DOWN BADDD I AM SO GAGGED AT THE 4TH WALL BREAK. THAT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY FUN."

This show was a wild but really good ride, and I would 100% recommend you check it out. I will for sure be rewatching because I love Tay and New so much. Okay bye!

A LIFE REALITY TURNED INTO COMEDY

behind the comedy of this show is the reality in love life nowadays, for the reason we dont know , we now have to think about stability when we date; we think about how will we able to support who we date and take care of them with the money and resources we have, it is now pressuring to date someone because both of your future is already handed on our shoulders ! if no resources and not stable, sad we better not date than to be a burdensome.
Inspite of that reality, this show reminds us that it above all of these things that needs to be considered in meeting someone and having someone in your life doesnt mean we stop loving; and to love means to fight for your love even when you have to start a business, even when you have to prove yourself, because sometimes when we are in those kind of situations, even when we do not like it; we have to prove ourselves in order to prove our love! And those things became more colorful with my Ultimate Bias TayNew; this guys have this unexplainable bubbly bond that even whatever genre they've put together, its was always like so so good together; justice was served althroughout this show with TayNew; proving no money no title can go against true love ♥
Some people were not pleased with this drama, and that is okay, but for me; in the situation of my life, this is all I've needed; the comedy was not too much, the Love scenes were wild but light in the heart; specially when To and Kanit role plays and the way the whisper talks ! You people will never understand why TayNew is my happy pill forever !
The Flow of the story is right on track all the way, The Second leads were just okay coz I did not pay too much attention to them coz To and Kanit is enough for me, but it was okay. I just wonder why of all the the days of their lives, emergency still happened on their wedding ceremony , but I realize as what they talked about at the end is that's what life is; we do not know when will emergency come that's why we always choose to be happy.
If I am to recommend something to make this show improve is that, I really hoped that the second lead's story were written better; it was just a bit awkward for me for the reason I don't know .. I am sorry that I cannot feel and see the chemistry of do they have that ? The Acting of TayNew it is already given ! bubbly mature roles , and can I commend Tawan because at some scenes, he looked like Karan and then turned into Toto again ! he is really a good actor ! I've noticed few awkward gestures to him anymore unlike before ! and of course Newwie .. He is a combination of Baby and Princess HAHAH
This drama will be added to my re watch lists one day and I'm gonna go back here! Thank you for reading and thank you for making this show ! 11/10 for me ♥

Altre storie più adulte.

Sono felice che la GMMTV stia cominciando a fare anche altre storie più mature e adulte. Sono felice che TayNEw abbiano portato questi due personaggi sugli schermi, e che devo dire mi sono sembrati molto validi e anche un po' diversi rispetto ai loro soliti personaggi. Ho trovato valida anche l'interpretazione di MondRyu che ora come ora non vedo l'ora di vedere nelle prossime serie (e spero anche a breve in ruoli da protagonisti). Detto questo una cosa che un po' mi è dispiaciuta è che si è visto poco Oab. Ammesso e non concesso che il suo ruolo era proprio quello di un personaggio orribile devo dire che mi sarebbe piaicuto vederlo un po' di più, anche perché dalle premesse sembrava che il suo ruolo fosse più complesso. Dettp questo ripeto ho trovato la serie molto divetente e simpatica e sicuramente qualcosa da rivedere nei momenti di tristezza o di down.
Devo dire che quete ultime serie della GMMTV che sto vedendo, con magari cast ridotti e solo 10 episodi mi sembrano siano la quadra giusta, non troppo lunghi, non con perdite di tempo, insomma, il giusto mix.

I don't even know where to start; this is truly one of the best series of the year. I had been suffering from major BL burnout. I’d watched so many, and I admit most were actually bad and I only kept watching out of curiosity but surprisingly, this BL, with its great comic relief and Tay's excellent acting, really won me over. You know that feeling when you watch something with a huge smile on your face? That’s how I felt throughout the episodes. Everyone’s acting was really good. While GMM could have improved the production value and perhaps extended the story a bit, I think I’ll rewatch it a few times because, overall, it was really good.
