First Impression: A Dog and a Plane
Overall: curious to see how this Thai romcom goes. 10 episodes about 45 minutes each. Airing on GagaOOLala (in U.S., U.K., Germany, France) https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/7706/a-dog-and-a-plane-2026-e01 ; Viki https://www.viki.com/tv/41492c-a-dog-and-a-plane?qId=696ca5913d3ce7f6d9fbb4e32c8cc3ce#episodes and YouTube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLszepnkojZI5osb5iHqLGUEBq7Ca7C-y1 (available in several countries in Africa and Southeast Asia but not Thailand)What I Liked
- chemistry
- easy to understand premise
- I chuckled a few times*
Room For Improvement
- *did not laugh at all of the humor and the comedy sound effects detracted from the humor
- nonsense stuff that sometimes pulled me out of the story
- nervous that a character is going to keep things from another character 2

Ep 1 review
Ep1 of adaap was good and everyone understood the assignment. The directing leaned into controlled chaos. Not overly dramatic, not overly comedic, somewhere in that modern slice of life romcom space, the dialogues felt conversational instead of just written. That’s harder than people think. A lot of romance dramas fail because characters talk like generators. Here, the awkwardness feels human and natural, the sarcasm and irritation between characters and already establish chemistry without forcing romance immediately. Also good dialogue isn’t about sounding poetic, It’s about revealing character psychology naturally and the actors did that pretty well. The editing rhythm felt natural not hyper-fast TT editing. Not slow art-house pacing either. It understands romantic tension needs breathing room. The reaction shot, timing, pauses in dialogue, lingering awkward moments. The editor did trust silence a bit, which was wow to me.Also the transitions between chaotic and quiet scenes were smooth. That tonal control matters a lot in romcoms. Chemistry-wise we all know taynew already have tension not just romantic tension but also behavioral tension. That’s even better, cause you can feel the annoyance, curiosity, emotional resistance, subconscious attraction. And their acting styles don’t clash visually. That’s IMPORTANT.
Sometimes one actor performs naturally while another feels theatrical and it destroys immersion. Here, the energy balance works.Their micro-expressions carried scenes more than dramatic dialogue did. Thats even good for future emotional scenes. And i was told if you want to be a good director this is an important part chemistry is not just attractiveness. It’s,timing, eye contact, spatial behavior, silence tolerance, and reaction authenticity and they understood the assignment, the cinematography, the series tone, lighting, framing, and everything was amazing I'm proud of Adaap and after Ep1, my expectations for the next episodes are honestly really high because the series already feels visually and emotionally consistent. I’m excited to see how they develop the cinematography, emotional pacing, and chemistry while slowly changing the atmosphere as the characters grow closer. If the show continues balancing soft humor, emotional heaviness, natural dialogue, and immersive airport visuals this well, it could end up becoming one of those romance dramas where the atmosphere and visual storytelling stay with you just as much as the actual plot. Big appreciation to the production team of ADAAP for such a strong first episode. The cinematography, lighting, editing, atmosphere, and overall direction already feel so thoughtful and immersive. Thank you for giving the series such a beautiful start, now I’m even more excited for the next episodes.

A Dog And A Plane is chaotic, silly , unhinged ,heartfelt and TayNew make it all work. Newwiee makes Kanit’s emotions so real, the hesitation before he speaks, the disappointment he tries to hide, the way his face falls, the joy on his face when he thinks of Lion or even the annoyance yet intrigue he shows towards Toto, his face say everything before a dialogue does. Tay Tawan as Toto doesn’t feel like a performance at all.He is so natural that everything he does feels like he exists. A character that could have been so over-the-top instead feels very alive , grounded and surprisingly warm.
I am pleasantly surprised. 18months was worth the wait because, if this is how things are starting, I can’t even imagine what’s coming next. I absolutely cannot wait.

A Perfect BL RomCom after a long time.
The series has the perfect blend of comedy and romance. If you are in mood for watching something fun, then i highly recommend watching this. Tay and New are the main leads so obviously the acting will be top-notch. And Jojo Tichakorn being the director means you will get to see mature content that will make your jaw drop. The editing team did a perfect job too, better than many of gmmtv's recent BLs.The first episode itself was so good that I had to watch it 3 times in a row. Can't wait for future episodes.

Simple review.
I've been struggling to find a new show to watch and this one was definitely a perfect refresher. Even as someone who doesn't like comedies all that much, i really couldn't stop smiling throughout the episode but i might be a little bias because its taynew 😅. It's only been one episode, but so far lreally like the cast, the humor, and the overall vibe of the show. I'm excited to see how the story develops in future episodes. It was worth the wait and now the wait for the next episode begins!

Episode 4 was another enjoyable chapter.
The premise may begin with a cheating investigation, but the real story is about two people slowly becoming important to each other.Thot keeps trying to protect Kanit, even when his decisions don't always help, while Kanit struggles to come to terms with the reality of his relationship. Their interactions feel warm, funny, and increasingly meaningful.
Tay and New have worked together for so many years that even the smallest scenes feel comfortable and natural.
The romance is still developing, but the journey is already fun to watch.

Silly and Funny BL in 2026? Let’s have it!
I haven't laughed this much while watching a BL show in yearssss! This is funny like ACTUALLY funny! I like the banter that the ML and MC have going on. This, in my opinion, is how the enemies-to-lovers trope should be done. Nothing too serious, just two silly men who would come to love each other.
The plot is interesting too so far, and the acting is good, but what's most important is the comical effect.
If you need a good laugh, you better watch this one lol
