I'm pleasantly surprised!
I started this one with the lowest expectations despite the high ratings or actually because of the high ratings, I thought this one more GMMTV garbage that people were eating up because of the popular ship, but no!! Well actually it is but it's so funny, dumb and stupid on purpose that it earns the high ratings, currently at 9.0 , a bit too high, yes but, most of these dramas are overrrated. The story is pretty simple, nothing much actually happens and despite having a disgustingly toxic relationship between Aran and Tawan, I enjoyed every second of it. The plot is beyond silly, it's stupid it knows it's stupid and leans hard into the stupidity and it works so well, wonderfully done. I want to dock it at least half a point more because of the annoying sound effects, silly music and again the toxic second couple, but I can't bring myself to do it, it's just so funny and wonderfully entertaining.

Soap opera chaos done right
Me and Thee was such a fun and chaotic watch, one of those dramas that keeps you smiling from start to finish. The whole story was hilarious, and all the soap-opera-style moments made everything even funnier and more over the top. It never took itself too seriously, which is exactly why it worked so well.Thee was easily my favorite character, completely unhinged in the best way, and Pond did an amazing job bringing him to life. It’s also one of those Pond and Phuwin dramas that definitely goes on my possible rewatch list. I only wish we had seen more of Mok and Rome, because I have a huge soft spot for impossible loves and they had so much potential. PerthSanta did an excellent job, I loved them to bits and they honestly left me wanting more of this tragic relationship

Khun Thee really ought to buy a dedicated time slot to turn his life into a... sitcom.
You know those long-running sitcoms with over a hundred episodes, where each 15-to-30-minute installment focuses on mundane daily situations with a fixed cast of characters? Me and Thee successfully recreates that exact feeling in a 10-episode series, with each episode running for an hour. To be honest, the viewing experience isn't much different from a sitcom, because one hour of runtime feels no different than 15 minutes. The show lacks significant conflict, the plot points feel thin, and both the individual episodes and the series as a whole feel incredibly lightweight. And, much like a quick sitcom, aside from the laughs and the surface-level messages, it doesn't really leave behind any lasting aesthetic or artistic impression. The structure is clearly designed to be loose, requiring very little connection between events and demanding even less focus or critical thinking from the viewer. Ultimately, the episode where the most actually happens is Episode 1. It introduces the characters, the setting, and establishes the mood and vibe for the remaining nine episodes. It was also the freshest episode. In the beginning (specifically the first two episodes), I was genuinely drawn in by the weirdness, the silliness, and the lack of sobriety in MAT. The comedic bits, the way everything was exaggerated, and the focus on the "cringe" factor typical of Lakorns were unique elements that few BL series have utilized. Novelty easily creates an impression and attracts viewers, but for a series to remain engaging over the long haul, it needs more than just a quirky start; the novelty needs to be sustained. MAT maintained the exact same level of silliness all the way to Episode 10. By that point, while the humor remained, that was all the show had to offer—nothing more.
MAT isn't a bad show, but it’s not for every audience, or at least, not really for me. It’s light, relaxing, and focused on comedy, but sometimes, that weightlessness—combined with repetitive humor—made me feel like I was wasting my time. It’s so light it just floats away, leaving nothing behind. I wouldn't watch MAT for entertainment, as I didn't find it particularly entertaining or relaxing, but if the goal is to kill time, then yes—MAT is the perfect choice for when you’re sitting around with absolutely nothing to do. Unfortunately, I don't exactly have time to kill.
Since the film offers little in terms of substance, I struggle to find much to analyze, though I will commend the cinematography; the color grading and general aesthetic were quite decent. Regarding the cast, Pond and Phuwin have made a noticeable leap compared to their last project I watched (Never Let Me Go). Pond seems more comfortable (though at times I wonder if he embodies Khun Thee because of improvement or simply because the role doesn't require intense acting), and Phuwin dared to step out of his comfort zone with a role (little) different from his previous ones.
However, acknowledging improvement isn't the same as praising the performance as a whole. Solely within the context of this show, the secondary couples often outshone the leads in terms of natural delivery. I don't want to be the contrarian, but for some reason, the interactions between the main pair felt slightly unnatural to me, and the chemistry didn't quite hit the standard I expect from long-time partners. There were moments where the acting felt "too much," and others where it was "not enough." In general, it seemed they struggled to fully grasp their characters. In pivotal episodes meant to mark turning points in character development, certain gaps in emotional delivery became apparent. I found myself asking multiple times: What is this character actually feeling? Why did the plot escalate to this point based on his reaction? Who is Peach, really? Does he have any depth beyond what is shown on the surface, or is he truly that plain? Crucial emotional scenes, particularly the crying scenes, felt like they stopped halfway and didn't quite land the necessary emotional impact. Ultimately, MAT isn't a psychological drama, but I still expected a bit more depth from the romance genre.
In the end, MAT left me disappointed.
I often joked that Episode 2 was the peak of the series, but I wish it had remained a joke. It’s strange that I found the love between the two characters most intense and romantic when they were still strangers—before the feelings were confirmed, when everything was just mutual attraction and lines like "this guy is interesting." It was better than the phase of "I’ll buy you an entire island because you dared to talk back to me, and because you’re the only sane normal person I know—even though we met a few days ago." The romantic progression sped by like a race car on a bumpy road. The two main characters felt like athletes sprinting toward the finish line of marriage, even if that wedding felt like it ran out of budget (no extras, sparse decoration, lack of ceremonial investment, and the groom not even wearing a suit). Even though their intimate moments sometimes felt inexperienced or awkward, and their connection relied largely on flowery jokes or scripted-sounding dialogue, I am sure the marriage of Thee and Peach will last forever—because there are never any real problems between them. Just like the entire series.
That is MAT in a nutshell—light, repetitive, and somewhat meaningless, with philosophical messages delivered directly through dialogue in a "Tell, Don't Show" fashion. And these aren't entirely negative descriptors. Look, I’m just describing the show the same way I’d describe those sitcoms that air right before prime time.
(Regarding the supporting characters, especially the side couples: MAT failed them. RM and TA were told in two almost contradictory ways. RM had a "plot with no plot," built mostly through interaction scenes and saved by the actors' chemistry. Conversely, TA had a messy storyline. Despite being built up from the beginning to the end, the sloppy scriptwriting exposed its flaws and dismantled the characters' image. The way TA's plot was handled solidified my theory: if Thee and Peach’s plot had been dug deeper with more conflicts, MAT likely wouldn't have succeeded with its current nonsensical storytelling style, because the script doesn't actually know how to create and resolve conflict effectively. For example, the way antagonist characters like Vivid or Tee pop up for one scene and then disappear blandly, or how the intern photographer character was stripped of his role compared to the source material.)
One huge minus point: the product placement is excessive. Every segment (15-20 minutes) features a commercial—blatant, irrelevant, sometimes with entire scenes constructed just to advertise a product. I tried not to dwell too much on the logic or realism of the setting, but for a billionaire, Khun Thee must be pretty broke to be doing this many commercials!

Missing some elements
First of all, the main thing that makes the drama interesting are the actors. They did an incredible work especially Pond playing Khun Thee. He delivered the iconic phases and facial expressions so well that it became viral. Now let's get into it. Things that I like:-
1. As I said the actors
2. The lines
3. The humours.
Things that I didn't like:-
The drama is not bad at all. I understand the hype and like others I was waiting for the next ep each week. But there are some things that need to be addressed.
1. There were things that could've been better if they really explained it. For example the Lee Family. The family is a mafia that everyone is afraid of. So I wished they would have elaborated and showed the audience how dangerous and scary the family was that everyone would stay clear from them.
2. Second, Khun Thee had sort of a trauma when staying and dealing with the mafia. But this was overlooked in the drama. Like I said if they elaborated on the family, the audience would be able to relate the trauma that Thee endured since he was young.
3. Now Tatsuya, the heir of Shohei had zero importance in the plot. Tbh the episodes should've been longer. Maybe because it was only 10 ep that some things felt a bit rush. If they really wanted to make it interesting they could have shown what the Shohei (competitor of Arseni) would do to challenge Khun Thee. Instead, the CEO of Shohei got scared and ran away from the Arseni Family.
4. The way the father of Khun Tee was portrayed at the beginning of the drama v/s at the end felt a bit disappointing. His father was supposed to be a strict leader and forbid the children from love. But then, his character fell flat as he accepted everything like it was nothing.
The drama by itself is good. Will definitely watch it in the future for laughter. So if you want to watch something light , then this is for you.

Such a fun, flirty, and sweet little tale!
This is one of those series that I like without really being able to explain why. It was cute and genuinely fun. I was literally giggling throughout the show because it comes with so much humor! It’s an easy, medium-paced watch that left me feeling lighthearted—which was exactly what I wanted from it.The story follows Thee, a mafia-like businessman who meets what he can only describe as “the man of his life” and finds himself falling in love with a particularly sweet and kind photographer, Peach.
I had such a good time watching this. Thee and Peach made for such a fun, supportive pairing. They had amazing rapport and banter, and it was a joy to see them slowly fall for each other as the story unfolded. Their flirting was incredibly sweet, and I loved that their relationship was lusty but not rushed—they actually took the time to get to know each other before falling into bed.
And then there were these amazing cuties—Est and William—who made me laugh and hide my face in the pillow.
Overall? I laughed. I yelled.
Would I recommend it? Yessssss… but only if you’re emotionally stable enough to survive all that cotton candy.

A series that hooks you from beginning to end.
I consider it an incredible series, from the storyline to the performances. It handles the topic of discovering your sexual orientation very well and shows how one person can change your perspective on life. Pond and Phuwin were the ideal actors to play the roles of Thee and Peach, and the same goes for the supporting characters. A very good casting choice. A tender ending that stays true to the original novel. I love that they portrayed how same-sex couples can adopt and get married, something that should be allowed all over the world. Excellent work with Me And Thee, in my opinion, the series of 2025–2026.Was this review helpful to you?
how we all wish falling in love feels like
we all been to these situations where either a heartbreak or the feeling of never opening up to someone again or even for the first time is bothering us. so if you want a new perspective i recommend you to watch me and thee. the characters portray their emotions and bondings with e/o so well and despite from khun thee being really relatable with his badownism & delulu mind, you can learn a lot from these characters!be it siblings who have been through trauma together, friendships who require responsibility and respect, colleagues who need to overcome issues with team work or even someone helplessly in love even knowing they did the other person wrong. this series touches your heart to the point where you will smile, giggle, cry, yearn, laugh and wish it would never end! the romance makes your heart flutter and the cheesy cringing helps to understand that every one has their own quirks, reaso enough to be one of a kind and that is exactly what we fall in love with when meeting new people.
may a love like theepeach find me, where green forest meets the blue ocean. 🤭

a quirky character and his grounded love interest
Overall: enjoyed the sweet moments. 10 episodes about 1 hour each. Based on a book "Me and Thee" by laWilathat which I haven't read and I reviewed the series on its own merits. Aired on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/me-and-thee-episode-1-14dekvm74mw?lang=en_us and GMMTV's YouTube channel (not in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Canada, U.S.)Content Warnings: violence/beaten up, past sexual abuse, past child abuse/violence (in episode 4, 53:30-end), manipulation, attempted murder, manhandling, unwanted outing
What I Liked
- styling/set design
- easy to understand premise
- I did chuckle a few times*
- a trash character had consequences
- caring moments
Room For Improvement
- *the comedy sound effects didn't make things funny and detracted from the humor
- would have liked in episode 5 for Thee to wait for a yes or a nod (he did this additional times, asked and then just went ahead)
- I didn't add love bombing and ignoring boundaries, but I almost did. I didn't like that aspect of Thee's approach though I understand he is not doing it from a place of maliciousness. However, he didn't communicate with Peach when making decisions that directly involved him. I didn't see much character growth.
- did not care at all about the model couple, wanted more of the bodyguard and his romantic interest

The most adorable thai bl
I watched this series obviously cz of the hype. I was thinking it'd be the typical ceo x poor guy troupe but damn i was wrong. Tee???? Typical ceo😆😆😆😆 there's nothing that's normal about that creature. Everytime he came on screen even the saddest and most romantic moments turned into comedy😆. Worse everytime he opened his mouth i was embarrassed for him. I was like BRO NOOOOOOOO but then thank god he met peach😆😆 and peach liked the weird him.As for our dear peach ahem ahem. Everytime he came on screen my soul was cleansed😌😌 when phuwin asked us to give his character some attention i was like "oh i guess peach is like a boring typical character" and i was wrong again he was probably the most angelic green flag I've ever seen. This is the first time I've seen phu play a soft boy without hitting pond😆 obviously.
As for our RomeMhok ❤️ loved the whole ep 5 and 6 especially 6... the way they all get to live normal life with their lovers..
Overall I'm probably gonna watch this on air and torture myself waiting 😅
Edit: that was beautiful. The series was just perfect. I have nothing to say. Everyone got the ending they deserved. I've got no complaints but I'd like a MhokRome sequel🤭

Saturdays are always light and joyful with this series!!
As someone who probably watched more than 1k drama/series in this lifetime, I just want to say that watching this series while it's on going is one of the best decision ever! it felt like me and thee gave me a long term comfort and happiness, my Saturdays never felt this light, happy, and comfortable 🥹 thinking that it will end after two ep makes me so sad. Still, thank you so much for making me and thee exist in this cruel world. I love the series so much! This will always be my comfort drama. Was this review helpful to you?
It's a nice watch but..
I just got kind of bored after the first half....felt like it was just monotonous.I definitely laughed a lot, which is a plus.
I am a fan and have watched all their (pondphuwin) shows but I felt like this one lacked in chemistry a little, it was giving me more awkward, less 'feet kicking in the air'
AranTawan storyline was just so poorly written, I found myself being annoyed with them a lot
Overall it was good, couldn't finish it but it's still on my watchlist I'll probably get around to finishing it in a few weeks.
