ML obsession with his lover to the point he is willing to destroy the world to have him. he too starts with a lie but then is totally obsessed with him. kills his father. and isolates his lover from the world. they both die in the end though. series is underrated. hope both leads come together in a modern drama.

ML is emotionally unstable manipulative but in love with the MC who is stable and sincere & there is a wife-chasing arc when the MC finds out the ML lied to him.

It gives so much revenged love vibes like the setting of the series and starting with a red flag ml, although the story is different but it's giving revenged love so much, so if someone liked revenged love will hook with it too!

One naughty ML meets one good ML, toxic romance ensues. One ML is fooled into a relationship and taken advantage of for a sinister plot, but they both fall for each other.

One ML deceives the other ML into a relationship where he uses him as a stand-in for his actual crush. Brief happiness between leads until the deceived ML realizes this. Then, chaos ensues. Toxic obsessive vibes.

ML is deceived by his toxic friends who obsess over him and have some secret arrangements behind his back. Main couple is not really toxic though.

Meet you at the blossom is a Chinese wuxia bI drama. This show definitely had flaws but it’s one of my comfort shows. I added it here because it was another Chinese bI and yeah they have some same tags!!

Both are BL dramas that are a bit dark and messy with an obsessive main love interest. To My Shore is a Chinese BL while Thundercloud Rainstorm is a Korean BL.

Similarities between the series
- ML is a black flag
- dates the MC cz of a bet and also cz he has ego issues
- tricks the MC into dating him

But this is much thicker and better than love alert.

A similarly unhealthy relationship between the mains with a lot of pain and tears, but very well-done and compelling.

The 2 step brothers end up living together and the rest you will know once you watch it!! It have some same tags so I'm jst adding it in here.

On story:
- Both tried to follow the book to a T.
- Both have red/black flags and toxic relationships.
- Both have NC scenes

On leads:
- Both also have a very understanding other half.
- Both understanding other half are not pushovers and can stand their ground

There aren't any plot similarities between the two dramas, but if you like the obsessive and yearning ML paired with the calmer and more level headed ML dynamic, you will love both BLs. Both dramas are masterpieces, but Secret Lover won't give you nearly as much trauma as To My Shore lol.
