#greatbutnotbest

I completely fell in love with Thada and Armin because of Pond and Peter. They have insane chemistry, and to be honest their acting more so Ponds' was what kept the show going. These two brought this drama to life. In short what I love in this drama is time-travel, the production, the MCs chemistry, sweet ML, Pond expressiveness, and Wenai & Janine.
Overall, while the story started great and the reaction and difficulty with accepting the truth is understandable, but loose writing as story progresses, and, forced -a little too much- drama is not.
The iceberg to this titanic was *drum-rolls* Thiwthit. I think the character building for this guy was terrible- just another one dimensional, childish/moronic antagonist. It made the finale confrontation felt wayyyyy too dramatic and the whole thing looked terrible. Not sure what happened but the finales fall scene also felt illogical and unnecessary......*side-eye to writers*.
And the worst of all the annoying HASHTAG which was not even explained and Thada just knew.

Disappointed to see a drama with such good potential. But as others have stated " worth watching for the Pond-Peterpan !!".

I loved

This was the BL I liked the most from Thailand this year one of those rare moments when they get the casting and the actors' chemistry just right. The performances were really good. The only weak point, in my opinion, was the villain, who felt too much like a caricature. The plot follows that time-travel trope funny thing is, I usually don't like that kind of storyline, but that doesn't mean much; when the screenwriter is good, I end up enjoying and watching even stories I normally wouldn't. I thought the pacing was great not once did I find it boring. One of those rare moments when a BL series has an inspired writer.

An amazing series

I love this series so much. It weaves together great elements of romance, drama and suspense.
I was a little skeptical about it, but after watching episode 1, I immediately saw the vision. The acting was fantastic, the storyline was a 10 and I'm still inlove with the ost.
The chemistry between Pond andPeterpan was undeniable and they brought depth and passion to their characters relationship. The cinematography was also stunning and added to the overall emotional impact of the storyline. The pacing could have been much better, but it was still great.

This drama deserves all the accolades for best thai drama of 2025🎉🎉

Binge watch worthy!

Pond for me is an actor who carries the character he plays like a second skin. He is very versatile and I absolutely support him for the fact that he is not paired with one partner and typecast into similar roles … he seems to be selecting roles that are multi faceted. I enjoyed watching him as wang in 180 degree longitude passes through us, someone with the innocence of youth and struggling with his age of awakening. Hill in fourever you, an emotionally complex role is again another one that was completely different from the others he had played prior, which led me to reset. And I was waiting for it to finish airing to binge watch it… and I am glad I did. Surprisingly, I watched the series for Peterpan/Tada as he was the one anchoring Ponds character Armin throughout the series. He gave context to Armin in the story… like he conveys from the beginning, he will be there to support Armin by his side to fulfill all that he desires… and in that he gave Armin… who had been betrayed by everyone, the one thing he had sought the most unbeknownst to himself, “unwavering love”.
The director and all the key actors conveyed the story well… I keep in mind that though it’s not a short series, a lot of story was told in 10 episodes of over an hour each… so no unnecessary time was spent in plot development or typical tropes as fillers… editing was crisp… I didn’t have the urge to fast forward sections of the series considering I was binge watching. But some effort could have been put on the final climax involving thiwthit. All in all an excellent work from the cast and crew. So many scenes are framed so beautifully I kept wanting to know more about the cinematographer. NC scenes are tastefully done, just enough to give context to their passion and longing for each other. Pond and Peterpan’s chemistry is beautiful… BL or otherwise this kind of effortless chemistry makes stories so relatable, especially when it transcends lifetimes.

A Spectacular Series!

"You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't speak
You were my eyes when I couldn't see
You saw the best there was in me
Lifted me up when I couldn't reach
You gave me faith 'cause you believed
I'm everything I am
Because you loved me, ooh baby"

This Celine Dion song sums up Thada and Armin's love story perfectly.

Normally this is where I warn you if this will be a long post, but I honestly have no idea if it will be. I will just be talking until I have said all I have to say about this spectacular series.

As I stated so many episodes ago this series is a 10 for me. If I could give it a rating higher than 10 I would. There are so many special 10 scenes in this one series. The production was well done; the budget was indeed put to good use.

Can we get a round of applause for Peterpan! The acting that he did was excellent. He moved hearts with his performance. The emotions he was able to bring to the script and by extension the screen was palpable. It is not just the way he delivered his lines, it is also the facial expressions to match moods of each scene; the sadness and tears to carry home the sense of loss and grief that is demanded from his character in the scenes that called for it. This amazing actor did not come to play!

Of course we cannot forget his other half, Pond. Pond represents so much as an independent actor. He is not a part of no established couple and so chooses different roles with different partners. He is an amazing actor whose craft has only developed with each role. He portrayed Armin's character beautifully and complimented Peterpan amazingly. I felt with his character, I understood his pain even though I have never experienced what his character experienced; this shows just how well he can reach through a screen and grip not just one's attention but also their mind and heart, dare I say demand them.

The chemistry Peterpan & Pond served us is not basic! It arrested you in your seat. It makes you feel the depth of their romance and love. I almost cannot see them beyond their characters. To put it bluntly, dem chemistry hot like ten fyah side! 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

Bom made for a very compelling villain. There is a scene in this finale that had me laughing; when he had Thada subdued on the roof and said they will wait for the arrival of the "side character" (Armin). I was like, DAMN! 🤣 🤣 🤣

As for the story itself, I loved every second of it. In these last episodes I was beginning to think that the writers have neglected the murder mystery. However, the way the writers tied everything together in the end with Bom's character Thiwithit was genius. We had all these suspects and speculations only for them to turn all that on its head. I said this in a previous post, but I have to say it again, the writers must be in love themselves because the romance that is written into this series is no joke! Thada is the greenest flag ever. The actions of service, the gifts, the words of affirmation, and the looks laid me out into a love struck mess. One would think I was the one falling in love. The dialogues between Thada and Armin carried so much weight. The different ways Armin professed that living a second life is all worth it because he got to love the love of his life. Not to mention the ways Thada professed his love for Armin.

There are two scenes in this finale that truly gripped me:

When Armin woke up in the hospital bed and looked over at Thada breaking down with grief. The way he called out to him had my heart in my throat. Out of all the times he called Thada's name this is the one that will stick with me.
The ending scene at the awards show. Armin declared his love boldly, acknowledging the love Thada has given him and showing such deep gratitude. In front of all those people he claimed Thada as the love of his life because a love as incredible as theirs deserve should have no limits, no shame, and should stand boldly in any space.
This series gave so many lessons about living life. It teaches about living life to the fullest unapologetically. You never know when your life will reach its end, so live and love to the fullest. It also teaches to make the most of second chances. It is not often we get second chances, so when they come about, grab onto them the true purpose of fulfilling that which you did not the first time. This goes beyond love. For instance if you missed an opportunity in your youth due to whatever reason and a second chance presents itself later in life, do not allow doubts about age to hold you back because you only live once; it is better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all.

Absolute masterpiece

Reset is how you do romance in a drama right.

Story: The drama follows Armin as he gets a second chance at life and what new choices he makes that leads him to the love of his life. This drama is totally a lakorn, with all the soap opera vibes. It was fun and ridiculous but really, this is about the romance of Tada and Armin. Everything else was secondary. This is all about falling in love and just being in love. And the YEARNING! My god it was so good. Tada and Armin together were completely mesmerizing and perfection. The way they held hands, the way Tada would kiss Armin's fingers or palm, or how Tada would caress Armin's cheek or neck 😍🔥💯 And the NC scenes in this drama were so soft and beautiful. It shows you don't need super salacious NC scenes to show the love between a couple.

Cast: Pond and Peterpan's chemistry was phenomenal. They were completely immersed in the roles and totally killed it. I had no idea Pond was that good of an actor, because I saw him in Fourever You and I was not impressed. But this proved me wrong. He was incredible and together with Peterpan they created a romance that's completely breathtaking. I hope they get more shows together.
As for side characters, the villains were kinda meh. But Weinai and Janine deserve all the love and their own drama!

Cinematography: Whoever did the lighting in this drama deserves all the praise. Best use of lighting and shadows 💯. I loved the way the lighting would focus on Armin or Tada during the love scenes, especially when they would have a beam of light focused on their eyes or hands. Beautiful play with creating shadows as well. Plus, that scene on the couch with the city lights in the background was so stunning. Extra points for the music they played during the love scenes.

Overall: I loved it! Watching this was the highlight of my Monday nights. 10/10

Just go watch it!

Words can not express how much I love this show. It had me from the first episode. It's the first show I have ever rewatched before it even ended. I wasn't a fan of Peterpan going into this is I'd actually actively avoid anything he wad in but the story line was good and Pond is in it so I'll suck it up. He did a fabulous job! So he's won me over. They both did a wonderful job through the whole show. This is definitely going to be one of my rewatch / comfort shows. Seriously why are you still reading? Go watch it! I promise you won't be disappointed. Well...
Unless you're one of those NC for NC sake people. There is some NC but it's done so well that it just flows with the story.

A Classic Story with a Fresh Twist

If you’re already a big fan of series and telenovelas, the plot might feel predictable — a bit of “been there, done that.” The difference here is that the story features two male leads, which adds slightly different dynamics, even if it doesn’t completely reinvent the genre.

I especially enjoyed the cinematography, which brought a refreshing visual style to the drama. Thada and Armin were adorable and touching characters, and the actors portrayed them with great authenticity — though, for me, Thada still comes across as a bit of a stalker and somewhat creepy.

The villains were wonderfully infuriating — the kind you love to hate and enjoy seeing cause trouble throughout the series.

Overall, it’s an entertaining drama that I truly enjoyed, and I hope to see more shows like this in the future.
Highly recommended!

Never thought I would enjoy the cheesiness and drama this much

As someone who doesn't usually enjoy over dramatic and cheesy romances I was surprised that I didn't find this series particularly cringe. Some of the dialogue was sooo cheesy I was amazed the actors could deliver it with straight faces. And perhaps that was the reason why this series was actually enjoyable and romantic despite the somewhat questionable dialogue ( I mean, what in the world is kiss-meets-explosion-destroys-the-world.... is this a translation mistake). The acting chops of the main leads make this worth watching, they delivered some of these lines with such conviction and acted with their entire body and soul.

The pacing of the story was good, with enough drama, conflict and tension to keep the plot interesting, interjected with well timed humour (here's looking at you Weinai) and a heavy dose of "i-will-die-for-this-love" scenes that brought out the amazing chemistry between the 2 MLs. The actor playing Armin's theatrical acting really shone in this series and the actor playing Thada (who also had to deliver some of the most cringey lines) matched it. I would actually rewatch some of their scenes together just to appreciate the acting. At times I felt like I was being rude and invading their privacy.

Would've rated this a 9 if not for some misgivings. Firstly, they didn't try hard enough to make it believable that the characters had aged 20 years (that's some powerful botox in action). Secondly, Thiwthit's character design was all over the place, was he interested in the inheritance or Thada? Gotta make up your mind boy. Thirdly, the villians were way too one-dimensional. Lastly, the anti-climatic revenge on Armin's ex-lover and ex-bestie, I was really looking forward to a good revenge plot. I suppose I'll need to get that fix elsewhere.

On balance, this was a really enjoyable watch , just steel your heart for cheesiness you've never experienced before and also some truly amazing acting from the 2MLs.

A series that kept me entertained

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

Okay, the reason I decided to give this series a watch was for the two main actors – "Pond" Ponlawit Ketprapakorn and "Peterpan" Tadsapon Wiwitawan. I saw some of their previous works, and I liked their acting skills, even if I may not have liked the series. And I must say – they did not disappoint.

This is a series where one of the main characters, Armin, goes back in time after a horrible incident that led to his death. And it's from here that we, the viewers, are entertained every week as we wait to see the outcome of this story. We are introduced to a variety of characters as Armin tries to go through his new life that he has been given, as well as working on his passion for acting.

While he navigates this new life, he meets Thada, and they develop a close relationship. Along the way, they encounter obstacles in the form of jealous co-actors (it was really nice seeing First Chalongrat Novsamrong here, as he played a different character than I am used to seeing him play) and jealous stepbrothers, just to name a few. I will also say that I was a little shocked on seeing Thiwthit's true feelings towards Thada, which led me to watch Thiwthit in a new way, but yet was still shocked at what happened in the end concerning him.

This series was well done, with the storyline flowing through it and keeping us viewers entertained, showing our emotions through happiness, anger and sadness (because these guys went through A LOT to get their happy ending).

P.S.- I love Secretary Veynai so much!

Pond finally shining was the reset I needed

Ever since I watched 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us, I have fallen in love with the absolute master class in acting that Pond possesses. And while I had major hopes for Fourever You, it was a major let down in my opinion (in regards to the character and pairing). Then Reset dropped and gave everything I'd been hoping for and SO much more.

PeterPan SHINED next to Pond and the two of them together made Reset the series the best it could be. I'm so happy they were paired together for this because they literally ATE in every sense of the word. There's so many times that you see one side of a pairing pale in comparison to the other, but this couldn't be further from the truth for these two. I would love to see them onscreen together in the future as well.

This series could have been so much longer, but I'm glad that at the end of it all that they both ended up happily together in their reset lives.
