I Was Not Enamored
I honestly was not enamored with this series. I have a difficult time with movies and series trying to make gay life ‘perfect’. This even went beyond that. It gave an individual an opportunity for a second chance to relive his life. A do-over. What the series called a reset. But frankly, I was unsure why he deserved a do-over nor did I think he deserved one. It was simply baffling. He reached a pinnacle in this life for which most of us will never accomplish or attain or even dare to dream about. My issue with this series has nothing to do with the acting, per se. Yet it is the supposition itself I have a problem with. One must begin to question what were we watching then? Did it feel real? I had to decide that it obviously was not and therefore this was all a dream, an illusion. It was too perfect; too quixotic. Overall, I simply found this series rather predictable and at times trite. While I certainly get its hypnotic attraction, I just could not get into it with any sense of realism. I for one am getting tired of seeing gay love being portrayed as something that is not attainable in this life. Was this review helpful to you?
Wholesome and Beautiful
For me this series is like a spring. After a long time, I have a series which brings a great story, fulfilling scene, visual candies, melodious song and great side actors too.The best feast for my eyes is obviously the handsome and pretty actors. Specially Pond, every moment with Pond was filled with beauty. He is for sure a great actor too, you can feel his acting in his eyes. The pairing for lead actors was amazing. Watching Peterpan for a 1st time, I am so satisfied.
The arc of friendship, loyalty, unconditional love, longing, sadness, jealousy, forgiveness even hatred is portrayed in a great way. I personally loved every second of series.
In this series the lasting impressions for me was, how one can love someone so much, that they even die of heartbreak. The love of Tada is not cherry on the cake, it's the whole cake.
My favourite side actor secretary Veynai, brings such a screaming moments for me and equally funny too. Every actor did amazing job. I even loved the actor behind villian, he did such a powerful acting of jealous brother, and shown that feeling behind all those action, though it shocked me greatly knowing his intentions towards his brother, but atleast it brings the justice to his madness.
Finally I can totally recommend this series, you will love it, it's more than worthwhile.
I think this series deserved even higher rate. This is my 1st time leaving a comment of any series.
I specially made account here, so that I could write how beautiful creation this series is and will be in future too.
Go ahead, watch it, because you will always crave for this series to watch again as a first timer.

Excellent chemistry and beautifully acted, BUT wasn't expecting it to be so romance-focused
“Reset” started out with one of the better and more memorable ep. 1 that I’ve seen in a long time. It was explosive, intriguing and set the stage up really well for the rest of the drama. It made you want to hit “Play Next Episode” right away. I had high expectations after that first episode, and especially knowing Pond and PeterPan did not disappoint in the acting department.Acting
The acting of the leads is probably one of the biggest strengths of the drama. Pond and PeterPan have proven themselves in other projects and they’re amazing here. Their chemistry was sizzling and each emotion was well-acted. The rest of the cast did pretty well, except for maybe Bom, who played Thiwthit (Tada’s brother). I found him overreacted and made his character a little cartoonish. But overall, “Reset” is one of the few Thai BLs where acting is not a weakness.
Romance
I was quite surprised how romance-focused this drama is. As much as I love romance, it was a little too much and some scenes and lines are too cheesy and cringey for me. But it’s without a doubt that Tada and Armin’s love story is beautiful, heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I love all the kisses and both Pond and PeterPan are so comfortable with each other that each touch, each breath and kiss really convey a lot of emotions. Their love scenes are shot beautifully and tastefully, full of sensual and passionate energy. But I do feel tired of the use of slower motion and the constant blasting of the ‘romantic music’. It doesn’t matter if they are hugging, kissing, gazing into each other’s eyes, the ‘romantic music’ will come on every single time. Sometimes, I wish I could just hear the silence and their breaths (which J-dramas do really well). If you love romance, you are in it for a treat from start to finish. You will find Tada as the perfect boyfriend who doesn’t mind giving and giving and giving. I actually want him to be less forgiving and giving, and want him to make Armin grovel and beg for longer.
Plot
I initially thought “Reset” will focus more on revenge, finding out why Armin’s death happened and trying to change the past. The drama did some of that, but as mentioned, romance took up the bulk of the screen time. The first half of the drama did a good job in balancing all those elements but the second half is when I was disappointed. Two characters killed Armin in 2025, yet in 1999, all he did was hook them up? That’s it? That was so anticlimactic! Where was the investigation of the murder? Where was the revenge? After Tada became a lovesick puppy, this Chairman does not need to work anymore. The balance of business + family fights + Armin’s second chance in life is lost. I felt that the ending also did not tie up all the loose ends. What happened to Tada’s flashbacks? Why did they happen and what significance do they have to Tada’s memories? Tada never really questioned Armin’s second life story, why? Instead of spending so much time on the romance, the writers could have closed out this drama on a better note.
Despite my complaints, I can’t deny I had a great time watching “Revenge”. I just wish the second half was as strong as the first half, especially when I love the first episode so much. I might have complained about the romance, but I DO love it. The chemistry between the leads is undenying and sizzling hot. I can’t help but have a smile and grin on my face, and they make me happy (maybe just shudder a tiny bit). The acting is excellent and the cinematography is great. I love the theme song even though it’s the only song and was overplayed. Unfortunately, I can’t give this higher than an 8.5. I was hoping “Reset” would end up being one of my top 5 BLs, but it didn’t make the cut. I will still recommend this drama, but not for those who don’t like romance plots.
Other Random Observations;
1. There are many scenes of beautifully sculpted abs and torsos. Hello PeterPan!
2. Thank goodness the ugly wig only showed up in one episode.
3. I also noticed it failed to change back to the ugly wig in a few of the flashback scenes.
4. PeterPan has a beautiful voice. He can sing “Happy Birthday” to me anytime.
5. On the flip side, piano boy/singer does not have a good singing voice and I don't like Pond's speaking voice. LOL

Playing with our minds?
🌪 RESET – Episode 6 Breakdown & TheoryWe’re past the halfway mark – Episode 6 out of 10.
And this is how you build a show that speaks to the heart, the mind, and every possible sense.
The creator – A. Natthaphong Wongkaweepairat – who both wrote and directed it, is simply a genius.
Every episode is precise, every clue is in place, and every emotional beat hits like a punch.
And what they did in this episode?
It was clear it was time to connect us even deeper to the couple –
and they gave us a full episode for that: emotional, bold, and focused –
with no distractions and nothing unnecessary.
💞 The intimate scene:
There was an intimate scene with a certain boldness,
but it didn’t go too far – it was emotionally accurate.
I didn’t need another over-the-top scene.
Just emotion. A smart script. Precise direction.
The little moments – the look, the breath, the touch –
were a thousand times more powerful than any dramatic editing.
And of course –
Pond Ponlawit Ketprapakorn (Armin) and Peterpan Tadsapon Wiwitawan (Thada) –
two incredible actors.
Their emotion breaks through the screen.
I believe them in every second –
and that’s the difference between a good actor… and one you never forget.
🌈 Emotional breakdown:
This episode felt like the calm before the storm.
And the reveal that they knew each other as kids? It destroyed me.
I felt in my heart there was something deeper –
and it came at exactly the right moment.
And now... we’re all scared.
Because the big hit is still coming.
💡 My theory:
I don’t see multiple theories –
I’m connecting everything into one complete arc.
And my heart is not ready.
🧠 Here’s what will happen:
Everything will lead us back to the beginning –
to the party at Armin’s house, just like in Episode 1.
But this time… something is different.
Thada is there.
The dynamic has changed.
But still – something terrible happens.
Poisoning? A push? An accident?
Either way – Armin dies again.
And that will be the end of the dream.
💥 Then:
Pond as Armin wakes up in shock – in a hospital.
Lying down, gasping, confused.
He turns his head –
and sees Peterpan as Thada, shocked by Armin waking up.
Armin hugs him tight.
And Thada hugs him right back.
And everything becomes clear.
Everything we saw was a coma dream.
Every conversation, every emotional connection, every moment –
was a psychological process Armin created while unconscious.
🧩 The clues were there from the start:
"Don’t talk about your death… the pain is so strong I can’t breathe."
"I’m scared this is just a dream… and I’ll wake up."
This wasn’t imagination.
It was Armin processing what Thada was actually saying to him
as he sat beside him in the hospital bed.
🙏 The third wish?
Thada will wish for Armin to wake up.
To come back to their life.
To their reality.
And Armin?
At first, he won’t understand.
But then… he’ll open his eyes –
and realize it all… was his dream.
And that. Will. Destroy. Us.

100% A MUST WATCH
I Hardly Ever Give A 10/10, Especially Before Finishing. But This Series Deserves It & More.!It Has Something For Everyone. Mystery, Action, Romance, Fantasy & The Thrill Of NC Scenes.
Pond, Having Just Given Us A Series As A Top Is Showing Us His Vercatility By Playing As A Bottom Here.
Peterpan, Finally Stepping Into An MC Role For The First Time (Correct Me If I’m Wrong) Is Absolutely Nailing It.!
Not Only Did They Do Their Big One On Terms Of Looks, Special Effects & Music, But The Acting Gives You A Feel Of Everyones Emotions. The Way That Thada Feels For Armin Speaks To Me The Most. I Highly Recommend This Series.! Let’s Give It The Credit It Deserves. ❣️ (Thanks For Taking The Time To Read 😉)

reasons why you should watch #ResetTheSeries
i’ve never anticipated for a bl series in such a long time until i came across reset, dare i say.. SERIES OF THE YEAR!!! the cinematography, acting, plot, cast, EVERYTHING IS JUST PEREFECT 😭cast so fine i can’t concentrate sometimes because their face cards are LETHAL 🫣 the cinematography is just beautiful, especially during certain scenes which i shall not spoil 💗 as for the acting, it is AMAZING. armin is played by pond ponlawit, where some of you may know him from 180 degrees and fourever you the series! his visuals are INSANE and the cherry on top is his TOP TIER ACTING 🫠 and as for thada, he is played by peterpan tadsapon, where some of you may know him from my cherie amour and oh my sunshine night the series! just like pond, his visuals are SERVING and to top it all up, his acting is very splendid 😭 this series is very well executed as there are no unnecessary NC scenes and the first few eps are just armin and thada yearning for each other. in the later eps we get to slowly see how their feelings progress. additionally, the communication between thada and armin is just so touching and sensational (really well done to panpond for portraying their characters so well!)
if you start this series, good luck to you since once you start, you can’t stop 😔 each episode would keep you hooked, making you want to continue watching again and again 🫢 as for now, 6/10 eps have already aired! you can watch reset on iqiyi app, and a new ep gets released every monday at 10:45 pm (gmt + 8) 💕

Reset Did NOT Disappoint
I started Reset for Pond, but I did not expect to fall this hard for the story — or Peterpan’s character! It was my first time seeing him act, and he completely stole my heart. The chemistry between the main leads was unreal. Pond was incredible, as always. But TD (Thada!) became an unexpected fave, also Janine was the sweetest support system ever, and Veynai was my secretary crush! He had me smiling every time he showed up.What I loved was how much care went into everything — the little details, the side characters, the pacing, and most of all, the ending. Everyone got the love and closure they deserved. I did pause before the last two episodes (because I was afraid that episode 9 would wreck me), but finishing it was so worth it. Big love and respect to the entire cast and crew — Reset is such a gem. 💙

Reset the Series
Reset the Series is truly a masterpiece in the BL genre. The cinematography is breathtaking—every scene is beautifully framed and visually captivating. The chemistry between the lead couple is absolutely insane, radiating authenticity and emotion that draws viewers in from start to finish. Each actor delivers an outstanding performance, making every moment feel genuine and heartfelt. This series is, without a doubt, one of the best BL dramas of all time, and every cast member deserves high praise for their incredible work. Was this review helpful to you?

Quality Drama with Insane Acting
Reset is about time travel, a very unique concept but not new. The unique aspect is that he gets reborn 20 years ago in 1999, and this affects the way things are filmed. Like many have pointed out there are most likely some setting discrepancies from actually 1999, but as all BL, budgets are not very big and I believe old antiques are pretty pricey or no longer in production. Considering this, I say the production did a pretty good job trying to set up the setting.Story wise, it’s pretty generic, and there may be sometimes where you may be like why they doing it this way. Or you may already know what to expect, they also didn’t give us a very smart villian. Yet why did I rate so highly for story? It’s because of the unique concept, when we usually watch time travels, the question comes to what would you do when you travel in time. What would you change? For Armin, he may have time traveled, but before all the success he had nothing. He may have had the knowledge of certain stuff, but he had nothing to really be using those knowledge for. What he really did was using his years of acting experience to be able to fix certain mistakes he made during his journey to the top and avoid what caused his death. It didn’t really focus on time travel terms at all, as Armin most likely didn’t care or didn’t know. Most importantly I appreciate the extreme focus on Tada and Armin relationship. No side couples, just entire focus on these 2 characters and how they come to love each other.
Acting was top notch, I appreciate the usage of experienced actors and it shows. Intense and electrifying connection is what I would describe the two main lead. Right from the first scene, their eyes can speak, and we can tell what they are thinking. Props to Peterpan, he has extremely control of his facial expressions and you can really feel his emotions based on what expression he was showing. Pond I watched from fourever you the series and he didn’t really stand out, but here he does. He matches peterpan with micro expression, and his beautiful smile which we can tell tada be falling for every sec.
Now the villains, the step bro, he has like a cute face, but he really became a villian that made me not like him. There’s many different types of villains and they didn’t give us a smart one, but they gave us a rapid dog one/psycho. Quite a unique choice for villains I say, precisely because he’s psycho, while he’s not a very smart one, he’s very unpredictable. The hardest folks to tackle are not those are only smart but those who have nothing to lose. He really dug deep into that aspect and we can see how he slowly spirals down the psycho path, because losing his mind at the end.
Productions
I appreciate the change in style of recording, while it didn’t fully feel like they were in 1999. The usage of certain lightings made it unique. The rain scene where Tada catches Armin was my fav. Whoever was doing the BGM, needs to do so for a lot more dramas. The songs he used wasn’t exactly good, but they were very good at when to slow down/stop, which part of the song to use and it really set the mood when I was watching.
Overall:
It’s a high quality BL drama that stands on its own. It has its own unique qualities that differ from other dramas and I would be willing to rewatch from time to time. The intense chemistry between the two MLs had, makes it worth folks to give it a try. I was reading that some folks consider this as cheesy, but maybe it’s because I watched much more cheesier bl dramas before, I didn’t really think it was cheesy at all 😅.

A successful series
The plot is original and well executed. The story is well told, although there are a few slow parts or moments that lack creativity. The twist in the final episode is unexpected — whether it's believable is another question, but it definitely caught me off guard.A major downside: Bom, who plays Thiwthit, delivers a very poor performance. I'm genuinely surprised to see such mediocre acting alongside strong actors in what is likely a big production. His final scene is downright cringeworthy.
All in all, a solid 2025 release.

Tada.... Yes, please!
This was a beauty in storytelling. Everyone did well in their roles but truthfully some shone more than others. Pond, PeterPan, Intanont, Alexander and Bom. Yes, the hate for his character Thiwthit is there but he brought the histrionic psychosis at every turn. I enjoyed watching a series that knew when to end and not dragged on beyond its welcome. The chemistry and skill of Pond and PeterPan sealed Armin and Tada and brought them to life as they meandered through the twists and turns to finally enjoy a future that was meant to be. Tada, as a protective fan turned lover was a joy to see and did set the standard. His mistake to not dealing more harshly with Thuwthit, would cause countless interactions that brought immeasurable pain to their lives. Armin, desparetely determined to avoid previous mistakes, inevitably still did make some in jumping the gun on many occasions which was painful to see. He also did learn not to take the only family he had left for granted in his rise to the top. The dedication and wisdom of Janine and Veynai helped protect Armin and Tada's love while opening a door to theirs.
There were flaws that were tiring at times to view. Hearing Pond say Tada in the most breathy tone as it's the most spectacular name ever, was irritating. Thiwthit's dramatic temper tantrums, though part of his character's mental issues, was a bit over the top. Lilly's bathroom visits were crass and not needed to bring out the crudeness of the character itself. First in the role of Ren was not the best of him and it was lesser than what was expected. How many times can Armin be shot at close range and still live? Hmmm.
I was a very entertaining watch. The action scenes were skillfully done. For the most part production, writing and direction came together cohesively. All bl actors at large, please note how to deliver a believable kiss. Full of passion and desire. A miniscule few match this and it elevated the believability of two people intensely in love. Worth mentioning, the wardrobe dept did not disappoint. It ended nicely on the right note.

I Will Fix the Story
I knew from the trailer when I first seen it, that this one I need to binge. It was a deep feeling in my bones, that this one was going to floor me. And I was right.
It is at the core of the plot, an achingly romantic story.
Armin, spent most of his life battling the entertainment industry, and on the night he finally is recognized, he is both poisoned and pushed over the railing of his home.
When he opens his eyes, he finds himself back in 1999, on the set of his first film. He soon finds himself making friends with a Tada, the CEO of, at the time, the biggest entertainment agency.
Initially Armin just wants to right the wrongs that he endured, and take revenge on the people who abused and murdered him. But as we move through the plot, Armin finds himself falling in love with Tada. Despite being only ten episodes, the relationship didn't feel rushed to me. It felt like a gently unravelling of Armin's pain, as he falls for Tada, and the NC scenes have taken a page out of The Sign's approach. It's sensual and romantic.
What I love, and probably what struck a nerve the most, is how the writing unfolds. It was very beautifully done, and at the end, had me thinking, that perhaps it wasn't Armin who went back to the past, but maybe it was Tada that triggered the time loop, or even a parallel universe.
In the original timeline, after Armin's death, we see Tada in bed, a broken man, wishing that he could go back and change things.
'I would fix the story between you and me'. and then dies, possibly drinking himself to death. (alcohol poisoning)
And Tada fixes it, he instinctively knows when Armin is in trouble, he protects him, he does everything he can to put Armin at the top, as though his own soul was keeping it's promise to no longer watch from afar. He actively stays in Armin's space.
What I would complain about, is simply not knowing what happened to some side characters. They're clearly not there in the future so I can assume they were dealt with, but I would have liked to have seen them face some justice for their actions, esp the talent agent. She needed to be in jail.
The music is beautiful. Sometimes I find in thai bl's, the music can dominate a scene, but thankfully, they knew when and how to use the bgm to intensify the scene rather than overpower it.
After finishing, I had a very deep need to rewatch. And when I did, I was noticing things I hadn't before.
I was alive in 1999/2000 but not in Thailand, so the fashion went over my head the first time. During my rewatch, I picked up more on those little details that were probably trending at the time, esp the heavy eyeliner on some of the actresses.
Overall, this has very quickly become a much cherished BL that I will be rewatching for a while.
