Reset — When Great Acting Carries a Complicated Story
Reset is one of those dramas where the performances are so strong that they elevate the entire series, even when the story itself isn’t always easy to follow. The concept is interesting and ambitious, mixing emotional drama with a narrative that constantly shifts perspective and forces the characters to question their own choices. At times it feels almost like a puzzle where pieces slowly fall into place, but that structure can also make the story a bit confusing in certain moments. The real strength of the series, however, is its cast. Pond Ponlawit once again proves why he is one of the most talented actors of his generation. I’ve been impressed by him since 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us, where he already showed an incredible emotional depth. Here he delivers another performance that feels completely authentic. He has a very unique presence on screen: cute yet masculine, with a slightly androgynous charm that makes him incredibly appealing. More importantly, he knows how to adapt his acting to the emotional tone of each scene. When his character struggles, you feel it immediately. It honestly surprises me that after such a powerful performance in 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us, it took this long for him to get another leading role where he could really show his talent again. Reset gives him that opportunity, and he takes full advantage of it. Peterpan Tadsapon also deserves credit for his performance. His dynamic with Pond works well, even if their relationship in the story sometimes feels more restrained than passionate. Both actors are straight and clearly focus on the acting itself rather than playing into fan-service or shipping culture, which gives their scenes a different kind of authenticity. Their connection feels more grounded and subtle. Instead of exaggerated romantic gestures, the attraction appears through smaller interactions and emotional tension, which shows their experience as actors. The story itself is ambitious but occasionally difficult to follow. The shifting narrative structure and the way events unfold can make the plot feel confusing at times, especially when the drama tries to balance emotional storytelling with more complex narrative ideas. There are moments where the pacing could have been clearer, and a few plot elements feel slightly underexplained. Still, the production remains engaging thanks to the performances and the atmosphere the drama builds around its characters. The music works well with the emotional tone of the story, even if it doesn’t necessarily stand out as one of the most memorable aspects of the series.
Final Thought
Reset may not have the most straightforward story, but the strength of the acting makes it absolutely worth watching. Pond Ponlawit once again proves how versatile and emotionally powerful he is as an actor, and the connection with Peterpan Tadsapon keeps the drama engaging from beginning to end. Even with a story that can feel confusing at times, the performances alone make the series memorable and deserving of its high rating.

Pond finally shining was the reset I needed
Ever since I watched 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us, I have fallen in love with the absolute master class in acting that Pond possesses. And while I had major hopes for Fourever You, it was a major let down in my opinion (in regards to the character and pairing). Then Reset dropped and gave everything I'd been hoping for and SO much more.PeterPan SHINED next to Pond and the two of them together made Reset the series the best it could be. I'm so happy they were paired together for this because they literally ATE in every sense of the word. There's so many times that you see one side of a pairing pale in comparison to the other, but this couldn't be further from the truth for these two. I would love to see them onscreen together in the future as well.
This series could have been so much longer, but I'm glad that at the end of it all that they both ended up happily together in their reset lives.

GREEN FLAG VILLE
honestly I didn't have a log of expectations going into this show I had to push through the first ep just to get a good hold of the plot but oh my god??? AMAZING, SHOW STOPPING, SPECTACULAR. the main love interest of the main lead was SUCH a green flag that I had to pause my binge and take a walk (the feels were out of hand) the storyline? fabulous. all the actors did an incredible job, I feel like these type of stories is what the industry needsWas this review helpful to you?

The parts are greater than the whole
Beautifully shot and directed with studied care by Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, "Reset" boasts two luminescent leads and a strong supporting cast. If it doesn't quite produce gold from the material and personnel available to it, it still makes for many entertaining moments. The principal theme of redemptive second chances is muddied somewhat by the nature of what its lead, the aspiring actor Armin (Pond Ponlawit Keprapakorn), has to face and overcome. Here, in this series, Armin struggles to succeed in the face of professional jealousy, nepotism and sexual predators. Many will find something credible and comparable to their own work experiences in this list; but writer/director Natthaphong throws into the mix a demented villain, Thiwthit, played in a pantomime fashion by Bom Tanawat Uthaikitwanit.
What sustains "Reset" is the considerable acting power of Pond in the lead role. Such is his ability, he could perform scenes convincingly on his own, without any other actor on screen; but here he is supported ably by Peterpan as his love interest. The resulting scenes between them are enough to justify anyone watching this series, although herein lies the problem. The beauty and emotional force of the scenes between the lovers tilt the drama in a way that makes the remainder a chafing distraction by comparison.

I came back to love you.
Their love story is what I hope to have.Just like the title, Reset, has the usual plot for time travel series. But for me, what separates it from others is that, given it has a bit of a sci fi thing, it also involves mystery, and action that will surprised you.
Their chemistry is top notch. It exceeds my expectations and I feel fulfilled after watching the series. It didn't have that much "ad" commercial scenes, so in a sense, it didnt feel forced to insert sponsors or ads.
So, all in all, it is really worth watching and getting the highest rating for BL.

Super predictable
The concept of this was pretty unique and I liked the main two together. A lot of the show was pretty predictable though. Sometimes it felt like they forgot about the time travel plot line which was weird. The mc also just didn't care about talking about how he was from the future which was also kind of strange. I enjoyed it overall though. Was this review helpful to you?

Good Quality
I picked up Thai BL drama after so many days and I am glad Reset pulled me out of my slum. The story, acting, filmography and visuals were so good.I absolutely loved Thada and Armin's character. So much affection, admiration and love they had for each other was so good. I wanted a scene where Armin finds out Thada is also from future and how his life ended after Armin was killed. I wanted that rawness of emotions where Armin realizes Thada not only loves him now but he loved him silently in his previous life. I do guess we got closure seeing how Armin recognizes TD from the watch but still it would have been great to see him understanding how Thada also resetted his life only for Armin.
The overall story was great. Fresh and unique concept from Thai industry. Acting was superb. Big shout out to Armin's hair. I am jealous of those locks.
Their lovey-dovey scenes were great but fun scenes were where Thada was jealous of some actor having to kiss Armin for the role and Thada panicking for the prop knife. I especially loved how even after knowing it was a prop knife Thada did not want Armin to stab himself with that knife. That scene melted me.
I would love to see these 2 actors again in new BL. I would highly recommend this drama if you wanna watch something short, mysterious and intriguing with that magical touch of BL.

Yes, Pond!
What I thought of the series: This is my fourth series with Pond and this is probably one of my favorites with him. :)I was surprised that I liked the series. When you look forward to Monday nights because of a series, it means the series is good.

Best 2025 bl in my opinion!
I love this series so much! its a great quality bl, and its just amazing. it easily goes on top 3 of my favorite bls. i also love the acting in this series. usually, in my opinion the acting in bls can be a little bit bad, but it was so good! i found it to be a very catchy series too! pond and peterpan had great chemistry and great acting. honestly its underhyped. even when it was still ongoing, i felt that it was also underrated. storyline was great! i also love that armin ended up surviving at last :)Was this review helpful to you?
