Another S-Tier BL that I watched
May 18, 2026I am so happy I ran into the edits of Tada and Armin in TikTok cause this thai BL truly had me on a chokehold. The way I devoured the series in one sitting in a day is just diabolical in a good way. I think truly part of it is that a lot of the Thai BLs I have been watching has not been hitting the right spot hence why I dropped them. I mean like they get too cringey and loses the plot. Sometimes, the leads get too annoying as they just have misunderstandings after misunderstandings for the sake of keeping the episodes longer. I truly think that Reset having 10 episodes is just perfect. It is the perfect runtime for the show and truly I do wish we had more cutesy couple scenes.
Armin and Tada's chemistry are so so strong like you can feel it through the screen and into your bloodstream. I truly understand why people can get annoyed at Armin because why he keeps ranting about the future in this new present past life of his. But I will defend him in a sense that, the man just woke up needing to find himself and having to reconsider if making this decisions can alter his future or make it worse. I think that I never felt an ounce of boredom watching this series contrary to others review.
And I will also say, I think that this Reset series is truly an S-Tier BL from the Thai industry. I will continuously look forward to rewatching this series in the future and so. I truly will miss Armin and Tada. AND ALSO I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A TADA IN MY LIFE. He is such a good green flag man. He is a whole green ass forest that is for sure. I need my husband to be like him too pls and ty!!!!

Best from 2025
I was really losing all my hope in Thai bls since they were becoming very boring, generic, no chemistry between actors but this? Masterpiece. Such a good written plot, very well done side characters and their storyline. Main two actors showed how it is to be an S tier actor. Their emotions in their eyes got me every time I watched it. Gonna cheer for them to become more popular. Was this review helpful to you?

Never thought I would enjoy the cheesiness and drama this much
As someone who doesn't usually enjoy over dramatic and cheesy romances I was surprised that I didn't find this series particularly cringe. Some of the dialogue was sooo cheesy I was amazed the actors could deliver it with straight faces. And perhaps that was the reason why this series was actually enjoyable and romantic despite the somewhat questionable dialogue ( I mean, what in the world is kiss-meets-explosion-destroys-the-world.... is this a translation mistake). The acting chops of the main leads make this worth watching, they delivered some of these lines with such conviction and acted with their entire body and soul. The pacing of the story was good, with enough drama, conflict and tension to keep the plot interesting, interjected with well timed humour (here's looking at you Weinai) and a heavy dose of "i-will-die-for-this-love" scenes that brought out the amazing chemistry between the 2 MLs. The actor playing Armin's theatrical acting really shone in this series and the actor playing Thada (who also had to deliver some of the most cringey lines) matched it. I would actually rewatch some of their scenes together just to appreciate the acting. At times I felt like I was being rude and invading their privacy.
Would've rated this a 9 if not for some misgivings. Firstly, they didn't try hard enough to make it believable that the characters had aged 20 years (that's some powerful botox in action). Secondly, Thiwthit's character design was all over the place, was he interested in the inheritance or Thada? Gotta make up your mind boy. Thirdly, the villians were way too one-dimensional. Lastly, the anti-climatic revenge on Armin's ex-lover and ex-bestie, I was really looking forward to a good revenge plot. I suppose I'll need to get that fix elsewhere.
On balance, this was a really enjoyable watch , just steel your heart for cheesiness you've never experienced before and also some truly amazing acting from the 2MLs.

THIS IS A MUST WATCH CUZ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCH THIS YOU'RE MISSING OUT
Wont be giving any spoiler but here's my thoughts abt this seriesFirst of all, I really love how Pond and Peterpan portrayed their characters—it never felt cringe, and you can genuinely feel the emotions they’re trying to convey. Their performances were natural. However, Bom’s acting sometimes comes off as a bit exaggerated, which can be hard to watch at times. I do hope to see improvement there.
The chemistry between the two leads made the story even more incredible—it truly elevated the entire series. This is absolutely cinema.
That said, the timeline of the storyline can be a bit confusing at times, which slightly affects the overall viewing experience.

It’s the Rewatch Effect and It Still Hits Like the First Time
So good I keep rewatching it. That says everything. I’ve watched plenty of good shows. I enjoy them, finish them, and rarely go back. But this one? I started it… and I haven’t been able to let go. I keep rewatching, and I can’t even explain why. It’s just that good. This love story feels real and beautifully done. It doesn’t try too hard, it just unfolds naturally and wins your heart in a way that stays with you. Pan and Pond’s chemistry? It’s next level. Every scene together just clicks. Was this review helpful to you?

A series that kept me entertained
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
Okay, the reason I decided to give this series a watch was for the two main actors – "Pond" Ponlawit Ketprapakorn and "Peterpan" Tadsapon Wiwitawan. I saw some of their previous works, and I liked their acting skills, even if I may not have liked the series. And I must say – they did not disappoint.
This is a series where one of the main characters, Armin, goes back in time after a horrible incident that led to his death. And it's from here that we, the viewers, are entertained every week as we wait to see the outcome of this story. We are introduced to a variety of characters as Armin tries to go through his new life that he has been given, as well as working on his passion for acting.
While he navigates this new life, he meets Thada, and they develop a close relationship. Along the way, they encounter obstacles in the form of jealous co-actors (it was really nice seeing First Chalongrat Novsamrong here, as he played a different character than I am used to seeing him play) and jealous stepbrothers, just to name a few. I will also say that I was a little shocked on seeing Thiwthit's true feelings towards Thada, which led me to watch Thiwthit in a new way, but yet was still shocked at what happened in the end concerning him.
This series was well done, with the storyline flowing through it and keeping us viewers entertained, showing our emotions through happiness, anger and sadness (because these guys went through A LOT to get their happy ending).
P.S.- I love Secretary Veynai so much!

A lesson on chemistry
I swooned and felt all the feels. Someone get me my own Tada pls (sorry Armin). Their love story moved me so much. Tada was Kind of a stalker in the previous life but it's ok all is forgiven cause he's such a cute golden retriever. I really loved the acting and chemistry it was to die for. While, obviously, the story was irrealistic it still was handled well. At the end I feel like the whole "Reset" magic could've been explained better but I was satisfied on how it was handled and I'm glad they had a happy ending. Armin got the strongest bones and luck cause that man died 1 time and almost 2 other times but he still bagged the hot CEO. Armin teach me your ways King. Was this review helpful to you?
Reset — Incredible Performances Carry an Overly Ambitious Story
Reset is one of those dramas that reminds me why I still get excited when a BL tries to do something different. Instead of relying on the usual university romance or office relationship, it combines fantasy, mystery, romance, and the entertainment industry into a story that constantly asks whether fate can really be changed. It's ambitious, visually polished, and emotionally engaging. At times, it's also confusing. But somehow, it still became one of my favorite BLs of the year. The biggest reason is Pond Ponlawit.
I've admired his acting ever since 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us. Even back then, he showed an emotional maturity that actors much older than him sometimes struggle to achieve. Since then, I've often wondered why he wasn't getting more leading roles. Reset finally gave him another opportunity to prove just how talented he is.
And once again, he delivers.
Pond has a very unusual screen presence. He's masculine without trying too hard, naturally handsome without relying on his looks, and emotionally expressive without becoming theatrical. He can make you understand what his character is feeling with nothing more than a slight change in expression. That's not something every actor can do.
Honestly, he's exactly the kind of actor I could imagine leading almost any genre, not just BL.
Peterpan Tadsapon also surprised me.
This was one of his biggest leading roles, and he holds his own remarkably well opposite Pond. Their chemistry isn't built around excessive fan service or exaggerated intimacy. Instead, it's subtle. They feel like two people slowly learning to trust each other rather than two actors trying to convince the audience they're in love.
I actually appreciate that both actors have stayed away from the typical shipping culture that dominates the BL industry. Neither of them constantly plays into fan fantasies outside the drama, which makes it easier for me to judge their performances purely as actors. Their connection feels professional, natural, and believable because it's built through acting rather than marketing.
Where Reset struggles is its storytelling.
The series tries to juggle multiple timelines, mystery elements, emotional trauma, entertainment industry politics, and romance all at the same time. When everything connects, it's fascinating. But there are also moments where the narrative becomes difficult to follow, and I occasionally found myself having to think back to earlier episodes to understand why something was happening.
Some viewers loved that complexity.
Personally, I think the script occasionally became a little too ambitious for its own good.
The production, however, is excellent. One thing that immediately stands out is how cinematic the series feels. Director A Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod gives the drama a much larger scale than most BL productions. The lighting, framing, and transitions often resemble mainstream Thai dramas rather than a niche BL series. Every timeline has its own atmosphere, making the visual storytelling one of the strongest aspects of the show.
The soundtrack also deserves praise. Instead of relying on generic romantic songs, the music follows the emotional rhythm of the story, knowing exactly when to stay quiet and when to heighten the tension.
One thing I particularly enjoyed is that the fantasy never completely overshadows the characters. At its heart, Reset remains a story about regret, second chances, and learning to move forward instead of trying to rewrite the past. That's what ultimately gives the series its emotional weight.
Final Thought
Reset isn't perfect. Its story sometimes becomes more complicated than necessary, and there were moments where I wished the script would slow down and let the audience breathe. But incredible performances—especially from Pond Ponlawit—more than compensate for those weaknesses. He's one of the most naturally gifted actors of his generation, and Reset is further proof that he deserves far more leading roles. Even with its narrative flaws, this is exactly the kind of ambitious BL I want to see more often.

Pond finally shining was the reset I needed
Ever since I watched 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us, I have fallen in love with the absolute master class in acting that Pond possesses. And while I had major hopes for Fourever You, it was a major let down in my opinion (in regards to the character and pairing). Then Reset dropped and gave everything I'd been hoping for and SO much more.PeterPan SHINED next to Pond and the two of them together made Reset the series the best it could be. I'm so happy they were paired together for this because they literally ATE in every sense of the word. There's so many times that you see one side of a pairing pale in comparison to the other, but this couldn't be further from the truth for these two. I would love to see them onscreen together in the future as well.
This series could have been so much longer, but I'm glad that at the end of it all that they both ended up happily together in their reset lives.
