Sorry but the leads love I just can't feel it.or maybe the character of Suzuki itself. Like there's nothing compelling than him being close down. Although Sherizawa character and actor is well acted too. So it's just kinda mismatch.There's one more episodrd left which I'm grateful cos some just breeze the happily ever after in just few minutes of the ending.

This is so fun to watch
It's a monopoly inspired game held in Dubai.The cast chemistry is so good and you'll really understand why it's "Bro" Marble. The budget is also massive I guess, they able to travel lots.
It's so funny, without the cast having it to be forced it to. Plus the way they travel and visited lots of sites adds to the watch value of the series.
I can't wait to watch the rest of episode.
Joshua, Hoshi, Shi Brothers fighting! I hope you guys win!

Fast Paced
Currently watching ep. 5 - at first the fast paced throws me off. But it's not a bad thing, it's just the directing, as we often havr slow storyline. This is kind of main focus on story with no side quest. Which if you get over the initial adjustment, will be enjoyable.My complain for now is the episodes are short but it's okay as it's compact in a good way. Just that, why the ending credits are so long. But that's not much

Cute, Principled, and No Deadfish Kisses!
It's a cute love story. I love how they built the characters. As I'm already exhausted by aloof, cool popular guys paired with nerd, unpopular, self-conscious ones, this show is a breath of fresh air. It highlights the struggle of someone who is only taken at face value, showing his genuine love and cute devotion toward the uke—his loyalty and desire not to force anything. Meanwhile, the uke is sweet and his kindness might be taken for granted, but he is a man of principle who knows what he wants and what to do. And most importantly of all! It's no deadfish kiss! Special connection through rivarly
This series is about rivals-to-lovers. The story is good as they both explore being in love with each other. What I love most here is how their rivalry still persists even after entering a relationship—meaning that even at the beginning, it's a healthy rivalry that serves as a connection for the two of them. I want to drop this many times.
If there's a predecessor, you can't help to compare both.Maybe it will be good enough to others but for me the pacing is just so bad that the substance have been lost. Acting is also awkward on some points. I want to drop it multiple times, just grit to it to finish.
To be honest rather than remake, JBL shoud funds those countles yaoi which has great story line but waiting.

Good Story - blank acting
The story itself is immersive. Good story, good plot, good phasing.But I'm sorry, the acting just makes me dissociate. (Not including Poom he's good.) You know when you watch you know they're acting. Often they even just stand there you expect some actions as normal but no. It's okay if they're great in facial expressions but still the same blank dazed expressions all throughout. I can't feel the emotions and story.

Top Male Actor and Rookie Outstanding Male Actor falls in love
I didn't pick this up first as I thought it's drama heavy. There's indeed drama, but unexpected the cute lovestory with the protagonists.One down side maybe is they're unable to reveal their relationship to the public and the course of the homophobia with the CEO that affects their relationship. But all of it is in the realm of what's in reality. This story is from a conservative world.
It's a good series, and love how there's interactions with their work at least.
I remember a manga with this kind of story (not same) but same: Dakaretai Otoko Ichii Ni Odosarete Imasu. (DAKAICHI)

Great chemistry, but the story loses its way
Considering it's an office romance, the business aspects are not very comprehensive. It feels like it was written without a real understanding of true office dynamics. While the main leads have good chemistry, their storyline feels lacking. I didn't even realize they were a reunited first love until I read the synopsis during episode 4. The plot also introduces a strange harem vibe before shifting focus to the second leads, leaving the direction of the story feeling completely lost.Was this review helpful to you?
It's good extension
It's more like an ova. Not really much more of compelling story from the main. Just the same with little jealousy in the mix. I just truly hope they gave more screentime to the side couples more than dwell on main couple 95% of the time, which they already have 13 episodes already done that. A good watch but cliche story line
Basically I finish this first before the thailand version.I tried the thai version but it don't get my attention at first episodr. This one did, and I manage to finish it.
Now checking the clips on thai version. There's seems more details there too. This one is compact. So I'm gonna recheck it.
For this series as it's own. Story is good but too much unrealistic for me. Like a disney. A cliche story line.
Acting is good though. Again I finished this so it's not bad. But I definitely skips some scenes. Like running?

A Hidden Gem
It's a story of bestfriends to lovers.It's slow burn romance in a sense, but the chemistry and tensions are so good. Which I love. Others may view it as someone (wataru) dragging their feet, but that's what's hi character is. It's not forced scenario. You'll see how important they are too each other in their own ways.
I love how supportive the family to on their new relationship.
+ the last episode they gave us the happily together enough. Not a cramped and they kiss the end. They gave us at least 1-2 episodes, and even other episodes there's still lovey dovey. It's not cringe to watch, as it's just two men falls in love.

Not Bad, Good but Average
Overall, I have no major problems with the whole series. It has those typical exaggerated reactions you see in Japanese shows, but considering it's adapted from a manga, that's to be expected. I think it also aligns with their conservative nature, keeping it true to the manga's vibe.But above everything else, I’d rate it somewhere just below "good." It’s definitely not bad, but it’s not fully good either. The affection between the characters is clearly there, but my main problem is that I just couldn't fully immerse myself in it. Whether it was the story, the characters, or everything put together, it just didn't pull me in.

Stagnant
"Summertime" leans into the classic childhood-friends-to-lovers trope. While the "outstanding but cold seme" archetype feels quite cliché at this point, the series earns major points for its dynamic between the leads. It is refreshing to see a pairing where both characters are masculine, breaking away from the usual cutesy uke stereotype.Unfortunately, the series falters in its character development as it progresses. The early episodes set up a lot of depth—particularly with a lead who is initially self-assured, comfortable with homosexuality, and proud. However, that strong foundation crumbles later on when he inexplicably regresses into deep insecurity. This inconsistency makes the character arc feel poorly executed and robs the story of the depth it promised at the start.
Despite these frustrating flaws in character progression, it is still an enjoyable and decent watch overall.

Lots of running (literally)
It's a childhood friend to lovers trope.The Seme is kinda have possessiveness, but let's be honesy there's a lot more twisted character out there. We really can't define one character by one standard. Many are living with their trauma and just finding that one sliver of light to anchor them.
Back to the story, what I love the most here is there's no wasted episode, and the story is not drag too much.
It's a good watch definitely. The characters has chemistry, and they fit each other.
One of the good KBLs out there definitely.
