C-Drama Chaos Mode: Activated
This one snuck up on me like “just one episode before bed” and next thing I know I’m fully surrendered to the chaos, snacks abandoned, morals questioned. It’s basically the Chinese cousin of A Business Proposal—same DNA, same unhinged joy, zero chill—and yes, I adored every second of it.The vibe? Immaculate.
The pacing? On fast-forward in the best way.
The acting, comedy, chemistry? All firing on all cylinders like they had a group chat titled Let’s Be Unreasonable.
The leads are ridiculously lovable with sizzling chemistry that does not ask for permission, and because it’s a short drama, nothing overstays its welcome. No filler, no staring contests that last three episodes—just plot, banter, chaos, repeat.
And the side characters?? Absolute MENACES. Scene-stealing, mess-instigating, chaos-manufacturing legends. Every time they show up, something unhinged is guaranteed to happen and I was living for it.
I’m only on episode 14 and I am begging this drama not to catch the classic C-drama second-half flu where everything randomly collapses for no reason. Let me have this. Let the chaos live. Let me stay entertained.
Final verdict so far: a hidden gem for when you want joy, speed, chemistry, and nonsense served hot and unapologetically chaotic. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys laughing loudly at their screen like a possessed gremlin.
✨Update (Ep. 15–24)✨
Oki y’all, sooooo, real talk—the second half got a tiny bit tits-up. Episodes 15–19? Absolute silly chaos on energy drinks., both leads waved goodbye to their braincells, and chaos briefly reigned supreme. But honestly, for this genre, we’ll mostly let it slide. The credit scene of ep. 19? Chef’s kiss hilarious—had me cackling like a lunatic.
The last couple of episodes smoothed out most of my frustration. The leads? Still absolute delights. The ML shines as a goofball romantic, and the chemistry never dips—it just flexes in slightly silly, chaotic ways. By ep. 23 they FINALLY get together and manage to cover pretty deep waters, bro. Enough to make you forgive all prior braincell casualties.
So yes, the second half stumbles a little, but it still delivers a cozy, mood-lifting rom-com experience. Ended up grinning, heart warmed, and fully satisfied. Sometimes you just gotta ride the chaos to the cuddly finale—and this one nails it 🫶

Business proposal, but with chinese minis twists
Actually enjoyed this show a lot, I'd say it's more of a comedy than romance, but of course romance is existing and we got great chemistry between both couples. The story as mentioned is very similar to Business proposal, but it has its own flavor in it which makes it entertaining.
🌸 Loved the directing and editing, it flows naturally and doesn't feel choppy despite the short length. Especially liked how the title pops each episode creatively.
🌸 Acting from all of the cast was good. And by all I mean even the guest roles.
🌸Every single one of the Background characters were super funny, especially the two bodyguards and the father.
🌸 Short videos at the end of episodes were everything!
🌸 liked the sister and secretary story.
🌸 Chemistry between the leads was good!
🌸 The soundtrack is good at the ears.
❌️ Too many clichés and tropes used, I personally didn't mind many of them but others might.
❌️ Login is no where to be found.
❌️ Lackluster ending.
Overall I would recommend this little series, as it is well-made, fun and entertaining!

A Short Drama That Doesn’t Feel Rushed
This was so simple, yet so beautiful.Even though my brain already knew what was going to happen, I still enjoyed every second of it — yes, a little cliché, but in the best way possible.
Wen Pei An is soooooooooooooooooooooo handsome
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Wen Pei An and Xin Tong.
I usually don’t watch short dramas because everything feels rushed and hard to follow, so I started this one just to have something playing while I worked. But before I even realized it, I was completely drawn in.
Maybe it’s a low-budget production, but the attention to detail and the acting made it feel almost perfect. I found myself smiling in every episode.
Now that I’ve finished it, I realize I didn’t just like this series — I actually fell in love with it.

Chaotic, Cute, and Completely Addictive—Contract Love Done Right
Money Honey Brainy is exactly the kind of rom-com I enjoy.. It is packed with misunderstandings, chaotic moments, and comedy that lasts until the very end. Unlike many rom-coms where the humor fades halfway through, this one keeps the energy alive. The misunderstandings weren’t frustrating or stupid, and the acting felt natural, never over-the-top. It was my first drama with both leads, and I genuinely liked them. The story begins with a familiar contract-relationship setup, but it delivers what it promises. What stood out most was how both leads slowly fell for each other during the contract without confessing. The female lead struggled to recognize her own feelings, while the male lead respected her space and never forced his love on her. I especially appreciated how they properly ended the contract and reflected on their emotions afterward unlike many dramas where the contract conveniently disappears once love blooms.
Her confession about liking money because it gives her security and questioning whether she liked him or his money was such a well-written emotional moment. That internal conflict felt real and thoughtfully portrayed.
The drama is simple yet beautiful. Yes, it’s cliché at times, but in the best way possible. The male lead is a lovable goofball, while the female lead is composed and practical about the contract, yet still light-hearted. The side characters added so much charm especially the ML’s father and the two bodyguards. His father handled serious matters with humor (“Fake couple? Let’s make them real!”), genuinely adored the FL, and even appointed her president after she resigned—such a fun and wholesome dynamic.
Still, the chemistry between the leads was strong and showcased more through actions than dramatic declarations. It’s a light, feel-good watch perfect for shifting moods after heavy dramas.
I made the mistake of starting it at bedtime… and stayed up way too late because I just had to finish it. Definitely a fun, chill rom-com to unwind with.

Good Show, Jolly Good Show!
This was short and sweet, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I love the mains and their chemistry, and now I'm sad it ended so soon. There was definitely room for a bonus episode, for them to date openly or a wedding scene. But perhaps that wasn't in the budget. Alas, would totally recommend watching! Was this review helpful to you?
A funny business proposal, with a twist
I haven’t written a review for ages, but for this one, I must.Mostly to demistify the first perception of this being the C version of the Korean Business Proposal. As, whilst the very first episode suggests that, the makers decided very soon to present us with a fresh and entertaining storyline, supported by excellent acting by both leads, with a chemistry between them right off the chart 📈!
In fact I’m glad it is a short episodes series, as the available time obliges the story to focus on what is important for completion, dropping side storylines that do nothing more than drag out the narrative.
I watched 10 episodes and will enjoy the rest!

Comedic, lovely, a drama you won't regret watching
A really fun drama with an unexpected twist. The romance wasn't so heavy but I think I enjoyed it a lot more because it managed to showcase love through actions and the leads' chemistry were on fire. Though, I think it would've benefited from having more episodes, as some scenes were rushed and lacked a bit of explanations. Overall, a well put together short drama, I highly recommend for anyone who wants a nice, chill, drama to unwind down to.Was this review helpful to you?
Business proposal em chinês?
Gostei.
EM RESUMO - gostei e me diverti. A segunda metade estendeu-se demasiado. Menos umas horas seria um mais.
O final, apesar de evidente, foi longo e demasiado oscilante...
