Love Design Deserves More Hype!!
"Love Design" is honestly so underrated. It has the right amount of sweetness, humor, bickering and their chemistry is everything. The story begins with Aokbab returning from Japan to help her late mother's company, which is drowning in losses. Along the way, she crosses paths with Rin, and their first meeting is nothing short of chaotic- full of witty banter and misjudgments on both sides. But fate (and a bit of professional admiration) brings them back together when Aokbab decides to hire Rin after knowing a client she is trying to win over is a fan of Rin's design. As the series unfolds, layers of Aokbab's past comes to light, including how her senior and ex, Mind, once stole her design. Rin becomes her unexpected pillar of support- encouraging her to stand up for herself and even shielding her from Mind when things get mixed up.The chemistry between Aokbab and Rin is honestly one of my favorite parts of the show. Every scene they share feels alive- there's this effortless rhythm between them that makes even the smallest interactions entertaining. Their bickering strikes the perfect balance of humor and spark; it's playful without ever slipping into toxicity, and each exchange builds just the right kind of tension that keeps you glued to the screen. You can feel the gradual shift from rivalry to reluctant respect, and eventually, to something deeper and far more meaningful. Their relationship develops in such a natural, steady way that you can't help but root for them every step of the way.
It's rare to find a show that blends ambition, emotional growth, and romance this seamlessly, but this one nails it. The professional setting doesn't just serve as a backdrop- it's woven into the characters personal journeys, showing how passion, creativity, and love can all coexist. The storytelling feels grounded, and the emotional beats hit just the right note without being over the top. It's refreshing to watch a romance where both leads are strong in their own right, yet still find comfort and balance in each other. Also, I love the little pop in edits like those heart emojis, exclamation marks, blush. It's cute.
Highly Recommended!!

Best ever
I love this series; it’s my favorite of all time. I found myself rewatching previous episodes until Thursday came and I had a new one to obsess over. The story keeps getting better with every episode, and the characters feel so real that it’s hard not to get attached. The writing, pacing, and emotional depth are unmatched, and even after the credits roll, I keep thinking about the plot twists and details I might have missed. It’s the kind of show that stays with you long after it ends, truly unforgettable. Was this review helpful to you?
A Green Flag Only Relationship.
Probably the sweetest and most unproblematic GL to exist. If you want to feel good and watch two leads with amazing chemistry fall in love, this is for you. Love Design is an instant classic and I can see this being a title I'll rewatch every fall.Velcurve did a commendable job with every aspect of this drama. Everyone who worked on this must love their craft, because it shows. This is a must watch.
Love Design is cozy and uplifting and the romance is turned up to ten. It will definitely make you believe in love again.

Outstanding show
From the first moment to the last, every part of this show was incredible. It made me feel safe, the way this story was written and all the details that were connected really show how much effort was put into this story. It caught my attention from start to end and it is hard to say goodbye to Aokbab and Rin for now, these characters had a very unique bond, felt like destiny, and never failed to bring a smile to my face. A huge Thank You to everyone involved in the project and to everyone supporting it <3Was this review helpful to you?
A Thoughtfully Crafted GL That Shines Through Subtle Storytelling and Natural Emotion.
Love Design presents itself as a quiet, understated Thai GL drama, but beneath its softness lies a surprisingly well-constructed emotional journey. What makes this series stand out is not dramatic twists or heightened conflict, but the way it treats its characters with sincerity, allowing the story to grow through subtle interactions and grounded human behavior. At its core, the drama follows two women working in the same creative company — one disciplined and introverted, the other expressive and warm. Their relationship begins with a sense of professional distance: collaborative tasks, polite exchanges, and cautious observation. But as the series progresses, we witness how small gestures, shared responsibilities, and moments of vulnerability gradually reshape their dynamic.
This slow and deliberate development is one of the drama’s strongest narrative choices.
The writing places emphasis on emotional realism. Nothing feels rushed or forced; the characters respond to each other with believable hesitations and genuine curiosity. Their connection evolves in a way that reflects real workplace relationships — built through trust, respect, and consistent presence, rather than grand declarations. This grounded approach makes the romance feel earned.
However, the drama is not without its weaknesses. Some secondary storylines are introduced but not fully explored — particularly those involving supporting characters whose arcs could have provided additional depth. Pacing can also dip in the middle episodes, where certain scenes feel repetitive or too light. Yet these shortcomings don’t overshadow the emotional core of the drama.
Performance-wise, the leads deliver nuanced portrayals that elevate every scene. Their chemistry is not loud or dramatic, but quietly compelling, built on subtle expressions, micro-reactions, and an unmistakable emotional pull. The cinematography uses warm tones and consistent framing to reinforce the drama’s gentle atmosphere, while the OST complements the storytelling with soft, unobtrusive melodies.
Love Design isn’t trying to reinvent the GL genre — instead, it focuses on doing the basics exceptionally well. It offers a sincere, mature depiction of a growing bond between two women whose connection is built on understanding and emotional clarity. For viewers who appreciate character-driven romance, soft storytelling, and authentic chemistry, this series delivers exactly what it promises.

Relaxing that melts the heart ❤️
*Love Design* is one of those rare GL series that slips quietly into your heart and refuses to leave. From the very first episode, it wraps you in a soft, calming atmosphere—gentle background sounds, warm lighting, and an emotional softness that feels like a warm blanket on a cold day. Even though the story begins with chaos and playful conflict, not a single moment feels rushed or noisy. Every episode carries a peaceful rhythm, comforting and steady, as if the show itself is telling you to breathe. The heart of the series lies in its characters. The stubborn, spoiled kid with her fiery attitude and the mature, composed woman who gradually loses her guard—it’s a dynamic that feels magical, believable, and deeply touching. Their chemistry is effortless, almost fated, and watching their walls slowly break is one of the most beautiful parts of the show. Their love emerges not from sudden intensity but from growth, understanding, and the soft magic of everyday moments.
The sibling bonds in the story are another highlight—so warm, so protective, so full of teasing and love that it’s impossible not to feel a little jealous. They add depth and humor, making the world feel lived-in and real.
But beyond romance and family, *Love Design* teaches something powerful: **stay right even when others take the wrong path, be honest even when dishonesty could bring success.** It’s a story about choosing goodness even when it’s not easy. That message lingers long after the screen goes dark.
Even now, when you close your eyes, you can still see them—the chaos that turned into care, the bickering that softened into love, the miracle that made them fall for each other. *Love Design* isn’t just enjoyable—it’s unforgettable.

My Ultimate Comfort Show: A Hidden Gem That Deserves More Recognition
I love everything about this show. It’s my comfort show. At first I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I was wrong. The story, acting, and soundtrack were amazing. The show has real depth, it isn’t rushed, and the actors’ performances were chef’s kiss. I really hope they’ll be given another series—an even longer one if possible. This show deserves more recognition. It’s my top favorite. Was this review helpful to you?
KAO AND JANE CARRIED THIS WHOLE THING
This review is centered on the two lead actresses, Kao and Jane, because honestly, they deserve every bit of praise they’re getting. Before I go into that, I need to acknowledge the production team. The cinematography, the color grading, the soundtrack, the way each scene is framed, everything comes together so cleanly that the show instantly feels comforting. The sound design is subtle in all the right places, and even the transitions have this softness that fits the tone perfectly. You can tell the crew cared about creating a warm, real world, and they absolutely deserve their flowers for that.
But even with all of that, I can still confidently say that Kao and Jane carried this entire show. Not because the other elements weren’t strong, but because these two elevated everything far beyond what the script alone offered.
There’s something special about Love Design that I didn’t expect. I’m usually an angst lover, the type who looks for emotional damage in every story I consume lmao. So imagine my shock when Love Design, a series with minimal angst, ended up being one of my favorites.
What makes it stand out for me is how it portrays love with this quiet tenderness. It’s not dramatic or chaotic; it’s gentle. It shows how falling in love isn’t always a rush, and sometimes it grows from the small, ordinary moments. Talking, working, sharing mundane parts of your day, and realizing those simple things are enough to pull you in. The show captures that reality beautifully. Love doesn’t have to be loud to be real, especially when you’re balancing adulthood, responsibilities, your past shit, and everything else life throws at you. And this message only lands because Kao and Jane bring it to life. Their chemistry is unreal. They turn a simple “slowly falling in love” storyline into something layered and surprisingly emotional. They carry scenes with micro-expressions alone. I swear, the glances, the pauses, the slight changes in breath, the softness in their voices, you can feel everything in the way they look at each other. There were moments where they weren’t even speaking, yet the entire emotional weight of the scene sat right there between their eyes. They make the quiet scenes loud. They make the simple moments feel intense.
There’s a sincerity in the way Love Design tells its story that’s hard to find and there’s no version of this show that would work the same without Kao and Jane at the center of it.
This is exactly why, if there’s any GL series I’d recommend to every GL fan, even just once, it would be this one. This is also the GL I’d recommend to someone who’s never watched the genre before. Not because it’s perfect or groundbreaking, but because it captures the heart of what GL can be when it’s made with real care: soft, intentional, and honest in the way it tells a story about love.

Love Design's Love Review
One of the most well-paced, engaging, visually stunning, expertly acted, balanced shows I've seen in Thai GL media so far. It's the best case scenario for a simple story.Love Design is the perfect title for this show because they did a great job intertwining the characters and their relationships with their careers as designers. Aokbab’s love for drawing is tied to her trauma and ultimately becomes part of her healing. Rin and Aokbab grow closer, and eventually fall in love, through the process of designing a house for a couple, drawing inspiration from that couple’s own love story. Their shared passion for architecture is not just part of their backstory but the basis for the characters and their relationships to grow.
The characters, story, and conflict may be simple, but the masterful storytelling is what makes this show stand out. Every aspect of the story is paced effectively throughout the show — Aokbab’s journey of healing from her trauma, her developing relationship with Rin, the process of designing a house for their client, etc. The plot points and conflicts are introduced early and developed through episodes. Nothing is introduced out of nowhere or wraps up abruptly. The show uses its time wisely, delving into the characters’ backstories and the gradual development of their relationships, allowing the audience to truly invest in their journeys and feel immersed in their emotions.
In terms of the acting, you can feel the fact that Kao and Jane are talented veteran actresses. They're so masterful at filling up the in-betweens, resulting in no awkward or uncomfortable moments during their scenes together. They beautifully portrayed two people at different points in life, with different histories, falling in love at their own pace. The cast as a whole was an ensemble who pulled their own weight. The side characters are written as full-fledged characters with their own personalities and motivations, and not just a pawn to move the storyline along when the main plot runs into a wall.
It’s rare for a show to use cinematography and sound not just to create something aesthetically pleasing, but to actively tell its story. The use of camera angles, time of day, lighting, and even the architecture and scenery in Japan adds to the portrayal of the characters’ relationships, emotions, and state of mind. The score is one of the biggest contributors in the overall feel of the show. It is composed solely for the show and you can feel how it elevates the scenes. It's more than just playing the OST as background music. It breathes with the scene.
Set design, hair, makeup, and styling were excellent. Every space and outfit felt believable and reflective of the characters in it. Jinta's office was an actual architectural firm's office, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the show. The contrast between Jinta’s bright, colorful office and Mind Space’s dark workspace, where the team is always dressed in black, serves as a constant visual reminder of their rivalry.
Overall, this show is an easy watch that is extremely well made. All the moving pieces behind the scenes, director, actors, writers, editors, composers, cinematographers, etc., came together and pulled their weight to make a seamless, complete, and satisfying final product.

SO GOOD !! please give it a try and support them
I’ve watched so many GLs, but after finishing this masterpiece, I actually created this account just to tell you: please go watch and support it. I think because we had so many GLs in 2025, this series was slept on, but it truly is such a good one. It’s funny, charming, and it’s so rare to find a rom-com that isn’t cringe. The kiss scenes may be a bit soft, but their chemistry, acting, and the writing of the characters are so good that you don’t even mind the minimal romance scenes. I loved the series so much that I originally wanted to give it an 8/10, but I’m adding the extra two stars for two reasons:
I, myself, overlooked it because it wasn’t very popular.
I finished all 8 episodes yesterday, and I’m so happy I finally got to watch a Thai GL after all the episodes were released.

Short, Focused, and Perfect
I literally have no complaints about this show. It has great acting, great writing, great cinematography, etc. Both lead actresses did a great job. What I loved about Aokbob and Rin was how great they were as both lovers AND friends. They're a great team, and they'll always have each others' backs. I also love how their relationship was fully supported by all of their siblings and colleagues. There's no homophobia here.
The show also had a solid supporting cast. Tertis was adorable, Mind had a pretty solid (and believable) redemption arc, and Thee was just as entertaining as he was corrupt.
It was refreshing to see a Thai GL drama that revolved around architecture, and explored topics like forgiveness, and how revenge might not always be the best solution when you've been wronged.
