There are many annoying moments.

If they decided to use references to Russia, they could at least have hired a native speaker; they couldn’t even write a note properly. It’s really embarrassing — it feels like they made a cheap drama.

It was also very selfish to abandon the child she adored so much for six months, and her husband, who went against his friend, the police officer, to protect her and accept her for who she was — while she spent six months in a cabin, leaving her poor husband to cope with loneliness. So the fact that they got back together isn’t a cause for celebration, because once again the husband made the first move. There were too many first steps on his part, as if he were the one hiding his second personality from her. As they say, the best defense is to pretend to be a victim. And putting up with the rudeness of a mother‑in‑law is considered normal, but abandoning your daughter and husband is just fine. Disappointment.

Oh, and then there’s the police friend with his sense of justice: like, “if the criminal kills again, I’ll put him back in prison, and so on and so forth” — but what do the victims, whom this criminal will keep killing, have to do with it? Wouldn’t it be better to get rid of such trash so that it doesn’t kill the innocent? No, we need to follow the law. Ugh.

A Satisfying Watch

A Bona Fide Killer is a thriller vibes K-drama that also incorporates some slice-of-life elements. The actors deliver outstanding performances, and the story is so well written that I found myself on the edge of my seat, constantly questioning and suspecting everyone. The ending is excellent, featuring well-developed characters throughout. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who also enjoys agent Kim Reactivated.

Loved it! (Despite a few plot holes)

I loved this drama! I was not expecting it to be so good. I thought it would be an okay drama, but it was actually awesome.

The chemistry between the male lead and the female lead was phenomenal.
I could feel everything.

There were some holes in the script: was the organization regional or worldwide, and who finances them? Another thing that I really wanted to know, but they forgot, was the second female lead (the younger sister) and her other two male interests. Who did she choose? I wanted her to be with the policeman/judo friend. He is super cute.

I would have given it a 10 if it weren't for the holes in the script, but I would watch it again.

This show, OMG, loved it! The way the story unfold is very pleasant and we have nice cliffhangers so you can't guess what's coming next. The characters are endearing, our female lead is sweet despite being a cold-blooded killer, lol. The whole team surrounding her are also funny and nice characters. The relationship between her and her husband is very cute, he's very caring towards her, it's nice to see. I really enjoyed every single episode, the drama is easily bingeable too. It could be a 10/10 if only they had gave our female lead nice in-laws, especially a good mother-in-law instead of the jealous old hag she got.
The team surrounding the female lead is funny and attaching, all characters remain coherent til the end. You cannot guess what's coming next and that is one of the main thing that makes this show this entertaining.

GOT ME BACK FROM MY KDRAMA SLUMP

KDRAMA: LIGHT, NO CHEATING, FUNNY, ACTION, COOL FL/SFL, FLUFFY ML, HAPPY FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP, RESPECT, FAST PACED STORY, SNOW, BABY SHARK,

Got me back from my kdrama slump. I was surprised every episode makes me crazy for WANTING MORE even if every episode exceeds 60 mins. already. It made me realize the short attention span is not real if the drama you're watching gave you thrill, curiosity, and a lot more emotions.

All characters are able to shine, I love and respect them all.

Every episode either gave me so much happiness, anger, love and faith.

I can't believe it only have 14 episode. I'm so sad while watching the last episode, I am hoping there'll be a season 2.

A mom, a wife & a killer ...

Once you get past the fact the lead protagonist is a cold blooded killer, this is such an excellent series on so many levels. Whether you agree with Bo Na's actions or not, it really doesn't matter. She draws a fine line between being on the right side of the law and carrying out justice that the courts got wrong. The writers give us some really horrible, evil criminals, lacking any kind of conscience or soul. That's what makes this thriller work so well. You really can't find sympathy for any of them.
Hyo Jin plays a great role. I personally was on her side 100 percent, so you kind of wonder how this will play out as you get deeper into the series. If you find yourself drifting away from the story in the early part of the drama, give it time. Once you pass episode 6, this really turns into a deep story with a few unexpected twists and turns. We eventually get all the past history of these lead characters, giving a great explanation to many questions at that point.
Jun Won & Sang Yi give outstanding performances, one being the supporting husband and the other, the relentless cop hunting for his killer. The two are close friends, but have a completely different outlook on things ... so we think, but stick with that friendship, too, as we watch that evolve during this drama.
As you get to the last few episodes, we finally see a couple of new antagonists that really set up for a fantastic couple of final hours of the series. You're on the edge of your seat as the finale plays out.
The supporting cast also needs a mention, Dong II, Jin Sung, Yul Ri & Nam Hee adds just enough in their part to make a complete package.
A line used in this series really can sum up so much of this story ... " Perhaps love begins when you find yourself drawn to just one side of a person, among all the many sides they have"
Excellent entertainment from start to finish!!!!

Mother and killer

An Housewife after 3 year of maternity leave, comes back to work. She is not a simple employee, she's a sniper. Meanwhile her husband is a journalist, who doesn't know her job.
Acting as a justicer, the woman and her professional team cleanse society of the rot plaguing it. What did I appreciate most?
All the characters and the spot-on casting for each role; her poise in balancing the dual roles of affectionate mother and ruthless killer; the friendship between the journalist and the police officer, as well as her bond with her team; the boundless tenderness with which these unconventional parents raised their daughter; the shift in attitude of his mother and sisters toward his wife (initially skeptical and dismissive, later protective and biased); the glimpses into her difficult childhood in an orphanage and the appearance of her savior's mysterious son, which provided a broader picture of why she started this line of work; the journalist’s inner turmoil and reflection—torn between the duty to report her and support the love for his daughter's mother—and his subsequent efforts to restore "Kingfisher's" reputation; and the scene where they reunite under the tree where they shared their first kiss, marking a fresh start. I admit, I shed a few tears during the final episodes.

Interesting premise but story doesn't grow

I had a hard time finishing this show. I'd watch a few episodes, get distracted by other shows, sports etc so took longer than usual to finish this. It felt like it peaked and then didn't know how to wrap things up.

The FL (Wife) was an Orphan at a not so great Orphanage. I woman came and rescued the kids and FL and one of the side actors now work for her organization and conduct 'meetings with clients'. The overall planning & execution of the group was interesting with each team member having a special skill set to contribute to the overall 'assignment'.

In the middle of this the FL touches the lives of people that are collateral damage from her missions, being an orphan she feels responsible for kids impacted even though they are all in bad situations and likely would have a hard (or short) life.

So you have some flashbacks to establish various people that are on the show, a teammate, children 'saved' but still dealing with their new life.

ML (Husband) is a reporter who focuses on the persona created for the missions the wife finishes. The public & police are not sure if she is good or bad as she is still cleaning up bad clients. The husband's life is thrown off as he struggles with his wife (FL), may be the persona he has followed for years. There are so many clues I don't know why people did not connect the clear dots. Even with the FL team cleaning up after a 'meeting' there is still time frames, locations that if they checked would solve.

I thought they would expand on the 'team' she works with as clearly they are well funded & connected, it cannot just be a single woman (now based in Russia) and they did run into another team that had a meeting overlap so clearly a larger organization. It seemed various people touched by bad events are part, or help the organization to get the closure they need.

There is brief romance, more friendship with FL sister and a co-worker & fellow cop friend, not a lot romance wise beyond cute scenes. Outside wife & husband not many relationship have an ending, it's somewhat left open and healthy.

Overall its an interesting show, if they did some editing and kept it 10 episodes it would likely not feel as long as it did. Acting was good from everyone, though the husband mother is a little hard on her Daughter-in-Law. But she comes around at the end.

I ain't a killa, but don't push me: Housewives Edition!

I'm keeping this short and simple.

Thank you for the 14 episodes!!! We're finally given a solid, entertaining, and enjoyable K-drama! Family-centered but packing a punch, an ordinary housewife with an interesting secret has her endearing world shaken up. I loved both our FL and ML together; they gave a perfect balance to each other, and individually to the function of what was going on in this action-packed world. Tens all across the board. I almost want to say, bring on a second season, but it truly doesn't need it. Get into this drama, ya'll!

It is clear that the husband and wife should talk.

A Bonafide Killer is a stylish drama with lots of beat music and soft melodies. Great OST.

We get to explore the lives of the husband who is an Investigative Reporter and his housewife. The housewife is just going back to work after a three year lay-off, used to take care of her very young child, an adorable cutie. The husband, tries to hide the nature of “his job” as an Investigative Reporter, thinking that it might worry his “delicate” wife. He feels that she could not handle his job excitement level. Slowly but surely, the drama reveals to the audience the true nature of the job his wife has. And you get the sense that the husband is over worrying about the surprise level that his wife can handle.

Cautionary Note: A Bona Fide Killer is about a sharpshooter/Sniper, an accurate one.

Side Bar: I used to work with a person who was a skilled marksman. He had the ability to accurately hit a target 1,500 meters away (about 1.6 miles). Okay! If there were 100 people in front of you and let them walk by, you would never ever pick him as the marksman. No, he was not ex-Military. This story for A Bona Fide Killer is very believable.

Cast: Actress Kong Hyo Jin, Actor Actor, Jung Jun Won, and Actor Lee Sang Yi

Only 2 episodes in, and I’m already completely hooked the show hits the ground running, expertly balancing the everyday chaos of family life with intense, high-stakes assassination missions.

i love the
Killer Vibes: The main lead gives off strong Kill Boksoon and My Name energy—she’s cold and lethal when on a mission, but switching back to mom mode adds a hilarious, My Secret Terrius flavor to the show.

Tension from the Start: Even in just two episodes, the dynamic inside her home already feels super tense. It gives off major Flower of Evil vibes, making you wonder how long she can keep her identity hidden from her family.
