YinWar Absolutely Nailed This
Most of YinWar’s dramas have been more serious and emotional so seeing them completely switch things up with Police in Love has been such a refreshing experience. They’ve always been great at emotional scenes but this series really proves that they can absolutely shine in comedy too. Their comedic timing and chemistry make even the simplest scenes so much fun to watch.I genuinely love the story as well. The forced-marriage trope gives me such a nostalgic feeling and I really like the way the story is developing so far.
And I HAVE to mention Thear 😭 I’m absolutely obsessed with how chaotic and ridiculous he is. I laugh at him so much that my jaw literally hurts. YinWar are seriously having so much fun with these characters, and it shows. I’m already so excited to see what happens next!

Fake Wedding, Policeman Husbands and Explosive Chemistry: YinWar Are BACK
YIN AND WAR ARE FINALLY BACK! The irony is that we didn’t get a proper wedding in Jack & Joker, but now we’re getting a fake wedding in this one. It feels like the director is saying, “We hurt you in Jack & Joker, so now we’re starting a new series with a fake wedding just to rub it in even more.” 😂Yin is back as Inspector Theer, who comes from a wealthy family and is funny, cunning and completely chaotic, while War plays his junior, Police Sergeant Mangkorn, who is kind hearted and comes from a poor, struggling family. Their personalities and backgrounds are completely different, which makes their constant bickering even more entertaining. Episode 1 had me laughing so much. From their mission to capture a criminal to that ridiculous fight scene that went from the bar all the way into the kitchen, I couldn’t stop laughing. Some scenes are so stupid and cringe, but in the BEST possible way. The second hand embarrassment is real! 😂 Their expressions, arguments, constant bickering and natural chemistry reminded me exactly why I missed YinWar so much. It feels so good having one of my favourite pairs back together again.
Things become even more ridiculous when Theer gets shot and ends up in hospital. His mother believes his terrible luck can be reversed through marriage, but of course, he cannot just marry anyone. His future husband needs to meet an incredibly specific set of requirements, including the right birthday and even certain letters in his name. And guess who somehow matches everything perfectly? Mangkorn. What are the chances?!
So naturally, the solution is a six month fake marriage followed by a divorce. Theer agrees because he wants to make his mother happy, while Mangkorn desperately needs money to help his struggling mother and dreams of building her a house. When Mangkorn asks for one million baht to agree to the marriage, it becomes a win win situation for both of them. One gets rid of his bad luck and keeps his mother happy, while the other gets the money to help his family. Simple, right? Because two handsome men pretending to be husbands and spending all their time together has NEVER resulted in anyone catching feelings in a BL before. I’m sure this plan will go perfectly. Definitely no jealousy, definitely no accidental feelings and definitely no forgetting that they are supposed to divorce after six months.
And we already got the wedding in EPISODE 1! I love a traditional Thai wedding, and normally we have to wait until the very end of a BL to finally see our couple get married. This time, we are doing everything backwards. They become husband and husband first, then they have to actually get to know each other, develop feelings and eventually become real lovers. I absolutely love that concept. And can we talk about that wedding vow kiss? It was so awkward, forced and obviously fake that I couldn’t stop laughing. 😂 I also already love Theer’s parents, especially his mother. Seeing parents who are completely supportive of their son marrying another man is so refreshing, and his mother basically shipping Theer and Mangkorn harder than the audience makes it even funnier.
Apparently, we also have ex lovers, hidden feelings and a prophecy suggesting that Theer’s bad luck could eventually fall onto Mangkorn instead. So we are getting comedy, romance, jealousy, drama, police uniforms, fake marriage AND YinWar chemistry? SIGN ME UP.
The music is great, the comedy genuinely makes me laugh and the storyline already has my attention. Most importantly, YinWar are finally back together on my screen. Now I just need to watch these two idiots spend the next 11 episodes insisting that their marriage is temporary while slowly becoming the most married couple imaginable. I already know that once the jealousy starts kicking in and those fake feelings become real, I’m going to lose it. My next 11 Saturdays are officially booked.
I also really like our second couple, Phuwin and Lukplub. They are so cute together, and unlike Theer and Mangkorn, their relationship is already established, so I’m interested to see where their story goes from here. Both couples are absolutely gorgeous, and having four handsome policemen and two different relationships to follow gives me even more reason to keep watching.
If you love seeing handsome leads looking ridiculously good in police uniforms 👮♂️👮♂️, enemies turning into lovers and a fake marriage slowly becoming something very real, then Police in Love should absolutely be on your watchlist. Add jealousy, comedy, workplace chaos, family moments and two men desperately trying to convince themselves that they are definitely NOT falling for each other, and this has all the ingredients for such a fun ride.
Give me the police uniforms, give me the jealousy, give me the fake husband chaos and give me Theer and Mangkorn slowly forgetting that they are supposed to divorce after six months. I came for YinWar, but I already know I’m staying to watch this fake marriage completely fall apart in the best possible way.
9.5/10. The marriage might be fake, but YinWar’s chemistry definitely isn’t. My next few Saturdays belong to these two chaotic policemen.

To all the hateful people in their reviews
To everyone who is leaving a hateful review:You are a racist, xenophobic, ignorant, sad little human. You don’t understand Thai culture. You don’t understand their acting techniques. You don’t understand the genre. You don’t understand anything and you never will. Thai BL has been here and been like this since the beginning. It has progressed and gotten better in quality over time, but their language, their culture, and their way of delivering scenes will never change. It’s THEIR way. It’s THEIR media. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there are countless people working incredibly hard to make it happen, putting money from their own pockets and giving it their all, because they believe in it. They believe in LGBTQ+ representation, and they show it the way they know best. It may have stereotypes. It may have outdated ideals. But they’re still growing and learning with each passing year. They know their public, they hear it, and they deliver what’s best for them. Their scripts, plots and storylines belong to them only, and are not here to cater to your basic, ridiculous, entitled needs.
But you don’t understand it. You don’t want to understand it, and you hate it.
But that may be because it’s not made for your square, basic little mind.
So maybe inform yourself. Maybe read a book. Maybe learn about Thai culture. Maybe watch a Thai BL from the early 2000’s like all of us did, shut your brainless mouth and enjoy it at its face value.
Or better yet, stay away from it and take your bitter, sad little existence somewhere else.

Having YinWar in Your Series Doesn't Automatically Make It Good
Listen, I love Yin and War, I think they're great actors and, when the trailer came out, even if I'm not a cop show guy or a comedy guy, I wanted to give it a try still because I do believe in them.Long story short: I shouldn't have.
The series is boring and the plot is nowhere to be find, they have only a premise and they ran with it. They did not know where they were going, though.
Good actors can definitely improve a good series and help deliver a story, they're fundamental. In this regard, Yin and War will almost always be a good pick, no matter what you're making. But you gotta be making something. You gotta have a script, a solid idea, an objective, a message, some arcs. You can't just throw your best assets into a blender and expect them to make omelettes without eggs.
I don't think there's any juice to this series and, worst of all, it's not even funny, even though it's meant to be a comedy.
The team basically failed everywhere.
Very, very, VERY disappointing.

Lightweight, funny, and amazing acting
Yin and War are genuinely one of the best Thai actors and it shows well here. Their acting is so natural, they deliver emotions pretty accurately, and their chemistry is top notch. This series is a chaotic mess in the best way possible. Every single episode doesn't fail to make me laugh. I don't usually rewatch any series, but I'm already planning to binge rewatch this one once all episodes are out. I highly recommend watching it if you want something lighthearted, perfect acting, and a good laugh! (I am on episode 4)Was this review helpful to you?
This went beyond my expectations.
The wait for YinWar is over, I expected nothing less than Jack & Joker and truly, they delivered! I can't stop marvelling at their amazing acting, especially War. We all know War's talent is of a different league. This show proves it again. Comedy is one of the hardest genre to pull off in terms of acting to come across genuinely believable, natural and funny. They did that perfectly well. I am enjoying the series so much. Story pace, side characters, balance of funny and serious, there's not a single negative thing I can think about. Possibly my favorite bl series of 2026. Yes, I enjoy it more than even Payback so far. Saturdays could not come sooner. Was this review helpful to you?
The chemistry and story is worth it !!
Police in Love is genuinely so entertaining.. to me everything about series is perfect like comedy, the characters, and the acting make it such a fun series to watch.YinWar have done such a good job portraying characters as always. And Thear being a flirt but still respectful towards Mungkorn is something I really love about his character, and Mungkorn is definitely DOWN BAD for that man like bro is a shy kitty with not so innocent core fr. Their dynamic are so cuteee and the way they bring these characters is genuinely admirable.
Tbh the entire cast is doing such a good job too, KitTang chemistry and their bickering is so fun and ShaneBoss has that cute couple coded energy which I'm definitely enjoying and they deserve just as much appreciation. Everyone adds something to the series, making it even more entertaining.
And the fact that YinWar put their own money into making this series for their fans makes it even more special. You can definitely feel the love they've put in the series and acting and I genuinely think it's worth giving this series a try.
And one more thing I would like to add is that I NEVER rewatch series, but I always find myself rewatching PIL released eps. I guess that says enough about how much I'm enjoying it!

Must watch
Police in Love is an absolute blast if you just want a light, funny BL that doesn't take itself too seriously. The Vibe: Pure chaotic rom-com. Yin and War have insane chemistry, and watching them feels like a forced fake-marriage with endlessly entertaining.
If you're in the mood for something fast-paced light hearted without heavy angst, it's definitely worth your time.

First impression
Pretty good so far, happy to see Yin and War in another series together. I like the plot, it isn't something innovative, but it is still a fun and enjoyable watch, in my opinion. I think it's mostly due to me not watching the pilot or trailer that I expected it to be a bit more on a serious note. It's really not a bad thing, though, just rather a surprise if you will.Things I liked:
1. When the character singing it actually is or sounds like it is them singing rather than just a song playing over it. It is so rare to see that I honestly have to mention it.
2. Acting.
3. All the funny moments.
4. Established side couple.
Things I disliked:
1. A bit too much happening at the start. Not that big of a deal, but we jump right into action, so it was a bit confusing to understand what was happening at first.
2. Sound effects. There are just too much of them and they only make series less enjoyable than anything.
