Reminds me of Brewing love, but better
I have been waiting for this one for a while now. It's finally here and I couldn't wait to start. At first it seemed too much like Brewing love, which I only finished because of Chanhwi. There's no fantasy element, there's potatoes instead of beer but other than that it's very similar. The first episode wasn't very good but I gave it a chance because it's the introduction we have tonget tonknow our carachters before the fun begins.
Episode two took of and I could not stop laughing, This show is absolutely ridiculous, full of clichés and absurdity. The male lead is so unlikeable the female lead is so loud and over the top but it just works. It's not to be taken seriously just sit down and have a laugh. It's dumb fun and I will continue to enjoy it as such.
A little update after watching 6 episodes it's becoming sillier and sillier, episode 5 made me laugh so hard my belly ached.
I understand why people aren't liking it it's just a dumb shutdown your brain and watch kind of drama and the humor is very stupid which is not for everyone and it's OK.
I finished the whole thing today and it was Ok overall, it just kept getting dumber and dumber as the story progressed with the last scene being so stupid it was cringy.
There wer some minor hiccups here and there, Like Park Kise should've been ground up and used as potato fertilizer but it's fine it's not that kind of drama. (I'll just imagine it happened).
While The younger brother and the best friend might have been the funniest duo I didn't quite like them together, I don't know why. He's so freaking adorable and she's crazy and so funny but as a couple I didn't like them much but it's probably just a me problem.
I will be generous and keep the 8.0 rating, this series is inoffensive, give it a chance if you like silly and you'll have a good time.

The high ratings are solely for Seo Kangjoon's face.
I'm so disappointed! I was so excited for a Seo Kangjoon comeback and got this mess!I'm all in for silly plots, Bodys swaps, time travel, cross dressing a grown as man passing of as a highschooler it's always a yes for me.
more often than not these silly plots are pretty bad I know it and I take the risk every time. Undercover Highscholl started off so well, just the right amount of stupid, very funny great cast it had it all for the first four episodes but as the story progressed it got so boring and unfortunately has one of my biggest pet peeves , a horrible antagonist the acting was to exaggerated felt forced and one dimensional just not engaging enough.
The romance plot was simply not existing I could even go as far as saying that you could remove O Su A entirely and it wouldn't make much of a difference which is sad because Jin kijoo is hilarious and gorgeous but this character although funny, just didn't work for me at all.
I skipped through most of the last two episodes they were really, really bad so I would not watch this drama again and wouldn't recommend it either. It's fine to pass the time if you're bored and want to stare at a hunky dude for a couple hours.

Not a reincarnation story.
I was expecting a reincarnation story but instead it's several stories using the same actors.Story 1
It took me a moment understand the fantasy element and if I understood correctly in this universe rain makes the world black and white except for your soulmate. It was very cute pretty much the same story as La pluie but told better, this one actually makes sense and doesn't break it's own rules. It's got It's silly moments Like when they can't reach Sun his friend immediately asumes he's fighting with his boyfriend It's weird I would've liked a but more backstory too, there's an Asexual or aromantic carachter here and it would've been nice to see more of that. It's not perfect but very good nonetheless.
Story 2
Is so much cuter than 1 I mean first is soooo adorable I can't with him! These two actors have very good chemistry and I love that this time around their personalities are switched it's so much better than to have them play basically the same carachter every time also the supportive grandma she's the best! I liked it so much better than the first one and I'm excited for the rest.
Story 3
I thought wasn't going to like it at first because X seemed a bit creepy but once they met I started to like it more and more. By Namping's actions I was able to guess what was going to happen and man I am so mad I was right, even knowing what was coming it didn't make it hurt any less, despite the pain I keep loving these short stories more and more each time.
Story 4
I have less and less to say each time, aside from the ugly hair extensions getting uglier than the previous ones there's not much to complain about. Sian is hilarious I fell for him just as fast or maybe faster than Blue did.
Story 5
The one that brings everything together although I didn't like this one as much, it's still a great series overall.
I may be a masochist but, X Namping is the best of all stories, I would actually love to see an extended version of it. I had never seen these two actors before and I'm very impressed with their acting I'll be looking forward to more of their projects in the future.

There's something about Daon
Jung Daon has a quality that makes the men who fall for him go mad, Ju Seonghyeon being the only exception; This man is too pure and precious to corrupt. The thing with this adaptation is that it seems to have been made for people that have read the source material as I am not one of them I am left a bit confused, despite the confusion I was able to fully enjoy it though; It is beautiful, fluffy cuteness yet dark and scary at times.
Jaemin's obsession with Daon intrigues me He claims to love him yet avoids a romantic relationship due to the probability that it would end He settles for friendship that way they can be together forever which would be great if not fornthe fact that he doesn't want Daon to be with anyone else He has lied and schemed for 10 years to prevent anyone other than him to come close to Daon and when he's rejected tries to commit murder suicide just so they can be together forever a total wacko, but why exactly what trauma caused this behavior is he just insane for no reason? The last thing he said to Suhyeon is " You don't know why I made that deal with you" Now I couldn't care less if he knows or not because He is just as crazy as Jaemin but I want to know, What was it? was there a time in which Daon had feelings for Suhyeon? Is that why? I woul've liked to see more of Suhyeon and Daon in the past and maybe more on why Jaemin was the way he was.
This 8 episode series was adapted form a 124 Chapter Manhwa, I have seen longer series adapted from far shorter material so I guess that's where the problem lies, it should've been longer explained better the situation in the past. I didn't want to read it because I heard it includes r*pe scenes but I am intrigued.
I still loved it, would watch again and would recommend.

It started as the best...
I wasn't interested at first I thought it was going to be a boring drama about greedy old men fighting for money and Park Hyunsik wasn't enough of an incentive to sit through that. I got curious though and watched the first 4 episodes in one go.I got excited and came here praising the the drama, it was thrilling, dark l, twisted and with a fiery romance thrown in. Park Hyunsik's acting is amazing in this drama He's looking more beautiful than ever and each episode leaves you wanting more and twist after twist came and it became one of those tropey Telenovelas I grew up watching with my mom. The best character died and we were left with uninteresting villains and a mess of a plot.
My fears about this drama came true, it was the best of the ongoing for me (who at the time hadn't started When life gives you tangerines.) but it crumbled as the story progressed to the point that I'm dropping halfway through episode 15 without Ildo the drama has become the boring story of greedy old men I wasn't interested I'm watching to start with, the romance has been ruined by the distasteful they're siblings but not really though twist and besides Dongju and maybe Taeyun I just don't care about anything else.
The best acting role of Park Hyunsik in a meh storyline unfortunately. I leave this drama disappointed and hoping for a Hyunsik villain role in the future.

I wish I could rate this higher
It's fun if you want to watch, but don't take the plot seriously and be patient that's my advice. The ratings on this site have been wackier than ever these days. I waited patiently for the whole series to be out before starting it while peeking at the ratings every now and then so you must guess how excited I was seeing it with such great ratings.
I started and immediately saw the problem with it, the plot makes absolutely no sense every single character is stupid to a fault. It's so unbelievably ridiculous that it's funny. While watching I kept switching between being so bored my brain would shut down for a few minutes and so amused with the ridiculousness that I couldn't stop watching. I wish they had leaned in to the absurdity of it more, if so it would've been a solid 10, but unfortunately they were serious about it so it's not.
The romance plot was put in the back burner for far to long and when it finally took off it was rushed, like they'd been boyfriends for what 10-12 hours a day or two maybe and they had already decided to adopt a child??!!! whn!!?? How??!!
Anyway it's a happy ending, it's cute and funny and I love Yin and War, but I'm not going to rate this a 10 when it clearly not just because of that, I hope they continue to work together and get better scripts going foward.
I'm going to go bawl my eyes out with the best story and then watch Love mechanics to bring the mood back up while laughing at how dumb Vee is.

The younger version is better
I was going to wait to binge this one, but boredom got to me and without even noticing I had watched two episodes. I am sensing that I might regret starting before all episodes are out.I see other reviewers complaining about the adult versions being too childish and although I understand that can be annoying I usually don't mind it as long as it's no too exaggerated.
I do agree that the younger version is much better. Both couples have good chemistry and nice banter but it's funnier and more natural with the teenagers, I kinda wish that the story was set in that time period even though I do enjoy the adults too.
One thing that I don't like and it's quite common in these kdramas is that the the younger actors don't resemble the older actors, it makes the story feel disjointed as If we're watching two different couples instead of the same couple in two different time periods.
An update 5 episodes in, Cha Jihye is the worst 😫 I hate her and they better cut off ties with her by the end of the drama or I'll be livid!! also When if ever writes are going to learn that if the conflict can be resolved by having a simple conversation is not a conflict it's an annoyance!!???!! They had a much better conflict right there, the family feud, that should've been the reason or literally anything else that didn't involve a stupid misunderstanding.
I continued watching up to episode 10. I was planning to watch the last two episodes today, but, I kinda don't want to anymore. I'm so upset that they're still friends with Cha Jihye and episode 10 was so boring I skipped most scenes that didn't include the leads.
I might come back and skip through the last two episodes but I doubt it, it started fun but later became boring, predictable and frustrating.

Ok Chanhwi made me stay
I was looking forward to this drama as I love the main leads, but the first few episodes were so Cliché and the towns people were quite annoying I kinda wanted to drop. After the 3rd episode it started getting better Our male lead is so charming that you just don't want to take your eyes off him.
This is the 3rd drama I've seen Baek Sungchul in and I liked him fine before but now Chanhwi won my heart, I kept watching mostly to see what silly shenanigans he'd be up to. I want to see more of him a main lead maybe, and I know I'm not alone in this.
The last two episodes were quite boring, I skipped most of episode 12. It's an OK drama with some funny scenes, something to watch when you have nothing better to do.

Stunning cinematography
This movie is absolutely gorgeous from the opening scene in Bolivia to the close-ups of fujishiro's face, every single shot is perfect. However, the story is absolutely confusing, boring and depressing. I couldn't understand why Fujishiro and Yayoi were together, it just didn't make sense at all. And then the flashbacks with Haru, Did she always know she was sick? Or was it something she discovered while traveling? Maybe that's why the father was so creepy, I have many questions and a lot of confusion but, I am not curious enough to keep watching I completely lost interest in the story once Haru's and Yayoi's friendship was revealed and to be honest I only got that far because I got desperate and skipped a few scenes.
It's a shame because Satoh Takeru is good, but the two leading actresses were not at all convincing in their roles, maybe if they were better I would've stuck to the end.

This show is brilliant!!
I started watching for the sole reason that I like the actors a d although it started a bit slow it got more and more enjoyable as it went along. It's freaking hilarious and so easy to watch I wathed the entire thing in one sitting and didn't even feel it.The running gag with the father is by far the best joke, I couldn't get enough of it really. Great acting overall and such cute moments, Jasper's smile is just precious. I don't have much else to say but to please watch I assure you that you won't regret it. It's criminal that it's so underrated.

Bittersweet, Lovely and beautiful
I This show has taken my heart, my emotions and jumbled everything up, I laughed so hard, I smiled, giggled and cried like a baby.It drew me in right from the start and by the end of the first episode it turned my world upside down, I couñd literally feel my heart sinking to my stomach.
The only fault I could say this show has is that none of the actors look like highschoolers and damn it they're so good that I couldn't care less.
The ending to the series hurt more than I was expecting but it was just as sweet and hopefulnas it was beautiful. one thing that I just can't get out of my head is why Yeonghyeon had that premonition, the show was very clear on why she was able to see him but, that dream? maybe I missed something I'm not sure but I think it's unclear.
I loved it and will rewatch and recommend a lot.

It should've been a movie.
when I first saw news of this drama starring Got7's Park Jinyoung based on a webtoon by Kang full I was so excited, no need to know anything else I just sat and waited.First two episodes were slow, boring and nor much happened, but I thought, it's an introduction it's bound to pick up in upcoming episodes.
Episodes 3-4 nothing really happened, we just sat watching a man creepily stalking an innocent woman. 4 episodes in and they haven't met?!! I get it, He meets her, he dies, but still!.
Episodes 5-6 came out and I skipped I thought I needed a break. Episodes 7-8 came out and I still wasn't feeling it. I thought I was dropping it, But I was still curious, it's Kang full, his stories are really good so there's got to be something here.
Episode 5 was draggy and as I was watching episode 6 I thought of taking another break, but then that ending! Finally it happened!!!
Episodes 7 and 8 were actually thrilling, my eyes were glued to the T.V totally immersed in the story, I felt anxious, I was worried and excitedfor the next scene to happen (it remindsof final destinationa bit). I am actually looking forward to the final two episodes this weekend.
I am rating it a 7 for now, depending on the ending it might go down I couldn't possibly rate it any higher because of how slow it is no matter how good the ending could be.
This would've been so much better as a movie or a 4 episode miniseries tops.
I know there's a Chinese movie adaptation out there, if anyone knows where I can find it please let me know, same with the original webtoon I can't find it anywhere if you know, please share it with me.
I have finished the series and adjusted my rating down to a 6 which I think is more than fair.
I knew I wouldn't be disappointed with a Kang Full story, that man is a freaking genius. Wher this series failed is in the way they adapted this brilliant story the pacing was way to slow one shouldn't have to sit through 6 boring episodes for the thrill to finally happen and the twist! wow I feel dumb not noticing it before it wa so good aand it would have benefitted the series to have revealed it earlier.
I do want to make clear the stalking aspect of this series as I just recently dropped the series The boy next world due to that very reason.
Dongjin is a stalker, he makes a point of it himself, however, he is doing it for a very good reason, he is madly in love with this woman and he is doing everything he can to make sure that she is happy. He at no moment is trying to force his love on her on the contrary he would've been perfectly content if what his face hadn't been a total jerk and broken the curse. The final episode was so weird it's not clear enough how or when she fell for him.
My favorite character Ho Eunsil, she was the best and we didn't have enough of her, I wish her and joonghyuks story weren't so rushed, because again, When did she fall for him exactly!?
In conclusion it's an excellent story wasted on horrible storytelling it took way too long to get to the point and when it did it felt unfinished, it is too long and too short at the same. It is a shame that most people won't have the patience to sit through it because although far fro perfect it's still very interesting.

Season two needs to happen soon!
This show is an absolute blast!!! it's dark, gory, suspenseful, thrilling and absolutely hilarious.Seriously this show had no business being thia funny!! It's the kind of show that grabs your attention from the very first scene and just keeps getting better and better by the second.
I don't understand why it's not more popular really, we need to get more people to watch this it's gem that needs to get more recognition.
I understand this level of dark comedy is not for everyone, but if you do like the of quirky dark, gory, mysterious type shows you will love this one so give it a chance an recommend to your friends.

Drama Special Season 15: To My Lonely Sister

This made me sob!
Such a heart touching story told in just one hour. Every thing about was perfect, the actors did an excellent job I could feel every emotion portrayed by the sisters, Haneul seemed genuinely concerned and hurt by her sister's condition, and I could feel the love in the father's eyes just wonderful. I cried hard throughout last few scenes. The music suited every scene and Kim Yang provided just the right amount of humor to an otherwise devastating story without making a mockery of such a serious matter.
I highly recommend, it's one of if not the best of these specials in my humble opinion.

It's a good show but, It's overrated
How much you like and actor shouldn't be the reason you give their work high ratings. This is my opinion and it's perfectly Okay to disagree. This show is not as good as people a claiming it is. It really isn't funny not one bit (Except for that one Mjolnir joke, that one still makes me chuckle) It's not scary either, but that's expected, it's available for free on YouTube. I'm not going to go into much detail because I don't want to be too negative, just because I didn't like certain things it doesn't mean it's bad it's just that it's not as good as the ratings may lead tou to think it is.
Yes it has heart touching stories, Episodes 4,7 and 8 being the best, But the first 3 episodes at least for me were so bad I almost dropped this and the only reason I didn't was because I love Tay, New and Jan so much. I was going to drop halfway through episode 2 but was encouraged to continue by 4 different people on here and I am so happy that were really nice about it and made me curious enough to continue. My favorite part has to be the ending credits, starting at episode 3 or 4 the credits show how their friendship is evolving and it's so wholesome, I loved that.
This is a good show as I said, but let's be honest If it started unknown actors would you really had rated it so highly??
I would recommend this show but with the warning to keep expectations low and bear with the bad comedy because it's a cute show.
