The story itself is amazing — full of emotion, mystery, and love. I wait for every new episode like it’s a gift, and it never disappoints. It’s such an underrated series that deserves so much more love and support!

And the OST… oh my heart 😭🎶 Sung by one of the main leads, Ongsa Tthuchh, his voice is absolutely stunning — melodic, warm, and full of feeling. It fits the story perfectly and adds an extra layer of emotion to this already beautiful series.

Waste of potential

The premise of this series is fun and has so much potential, but it's been wasted with this terrible script.

The two main actors seemed to have really done their best with what they were given, but not even that could make these characters realistic or likeable to me.

I dropped this at episode 3 after this dude revealed he had fire powers and a grand total of 0 people were shocked. Actually thats not true, after being mildly stunned for like 2 seconds, the step mother and her affair partner proceed to make fun of him for being a freak?

They then celebrate the guest house being fully booked the next week, despite knowing that theyre currently hosting a fugative whose face is most likely being widely spread through the media.
Oh and he also decides to go in to the city, without any type of face covering, and announces his name and where he's staying to the first person who asks?

Did no one proofread this script? Did they seriously not go through multiple readings and not see anything slightly wrong with any of this? Are ya'll seriously wanting me to believe that these people see a man blast flames out of the palms of his hands and all they do is gasp and then giggle at him like middle school girls??

I sincerely hope these actors get a chance at starring in something better than this garbage.

Thai BL meets Lara Croft meets Last Airbender meets a very good looking cast - I'm so sat

There's not one boring moment in this one so far....any more ingredients and they can make at least 3 dramas out of it ...but I love it nonetheless ...NGL, the very good looking cast plays an important role in that, other than the good production values...So initial verdict is: Aye, Aye!! 😍

BL-needle Score: 8, High BL-ness

So, this gives off aThai BL meets Lara Croft meets Last Airbender vibes, with a lifetimes-spanning love rivalry thrown in...and who wouldn't sign up if the trio look as good as Khunkhao-Siwat-Thara...with a few more yummy bois as friends thrown in, you could watch this for a few episodes just for the cast...🥰

But the story promises a lot too...and I mean a LOT...may be a tad too much...not complaining, just saying......element bending characters, ancient and magical civilization/dynasty with a secret hidden in deep lush forests, pre-historic monsters, present-day evil stepmother and her lover-aide, ancient and modern day love triangle.....phew....I hope they are able to focus on 1-2 main threads as the story progresses, or at least manage to weave all of these layers into a smoothly flowing narrative

So the elements-bending trio Siwat-Khunkhao-Thara have been locked in this three-way friends-turned love rivals-trying to woo their common friend, since the Tambralinga days...no wonder Thara wasted no time in cozying up to Siwat and went against Khunkhao's ire on learning Siwat's father's name, probably knowing deep down that he looses out to Khunkhao in the end...I mean what can he do if Khunkhao carries the 'Linga' to Siwat's 'Yoni'...that's plain (or should I say deep? 🤭 ) unfair advantage

So Siwat is fire bender, Khunkhao is Air bender, and Thara is Water bender....I wonder who the earth bender is then, is it their rival? The one who was briefly shown in the glimpse from their Tambralinga times....seated, probably in a lotus position, emitting black resentment Qi ?

I am so sat for the adventure, and suggest that you also come along...it promises to be a helluva ride!!! 🥰

Was hooked...But slowly lost interest

NGL, I was a little skeptical when the trailer came out but I thought of watching it nonetheless. And now I don't think I'll be leaving anytime soon.
The first episode had some questionable development, didn't know what they were trying to do. But from there on, especially the more recent episodes that turned out to be more engaging, makes the show seem promising. The thing that's left me completely captivated is our MLs and their on screen chemistry. These budding actors seemed to have full control over my mind and heart the entire time!
I look forward to the episodes that are yet to come. Hopefully they are just as fun. But will mostly binge.

You’ll like it if you're into serious series not for people who are more into romance

I watched this series because i saw lot of edits on rebirth of gods who loved each other. Frankly i expected this to be more focused on the romance between the leads. I am someone who doesn't like a lot of actions or a serious plot and this drama is exactly that. It focuses more on the gods, their powers, loads of historical and mythological references. It's a smart plot but just not my cup of tea. As for the acting the comment section is definitely lieing. The actors have genuinely done justice to the role. They've done way better than a lot of debut actors (if u notice it's Ongsa's debut). I've watched a lot of famous actor's bl debuts they usually look stiff and uncomfortable but here both of them looked natural. Yes i did find Thaki's acting a little weird he had a hard time potraying sorrow and anger. But overall if you're more into serious dramas and are here for a high IQ drama this is for you cz the show is very informative.

Edit: dropping it after watching spoilers. IT WAS A BLOODY OPEN ENDING?? WHY?? They could have given a normal happy ending cz they already suffered in the 1st life. AHHHHHHHHH unless there's a special episode I'm not picking this up

A Fantasy BL That Started Like a Masterpiece… and Ended Like a Mess

As a BL watcher who LOVES fantasy, I went into this series with sky-high expectations. The trailer looked incredible, the mythological concept was everything I wanted, and the first few episodes absolutely delivered. I was hooked.

But then… the downfall began.

The pacing slowed to the point where it felt like the story was being stretched just to fill time. Scenes dragged. Plot points went in circles. And honestly, it started to feel like they had no idea where they were going anymore.

The only thing keeping the show alive was the chemistry between the leads: because WOW, they were handsome and absolutely electric together. Their tension, eye contact, and interactions were the backbone of the entire series. Even the absurd product placements were more entertaining than some of the plot development.

The kiss between Khunkao and Siwat? Good, but honestly could’ve been better especially the awkward hand placement and rushed buildup.
But the water kiss? Now THAT was hot. The way they grabbed each other… that scene carried the whole episode on its back.

Thara’s character also fooled me at first. I thought he was just being jealous and messy for no reason, but later it became clear he was dragging a whole suitcase of emotional baggage from his past. That twist actually added depth.

And the professor? Still the weirdest character in the entire show. His motives made ZERO sense, and I’m still convinced he’s Kalankal from the past, but honestly at this point, even the show didn’t care enough to explain him properly.

And now… let’s talk about the ending.

Because that ending?
A complete disaster.
It was rushed, confusing, meaningless, and felt like the writers just gave up and dropped the script on the floor. All the buildup, all the tension, all the mythology gone.
Wasted.
They wrapped it up so badly that it ruined the whole experience for me.
I finished the drama and literally sat there thinking, “THAT’S IT??”

I gave this drama a good review at first, but after watching the ending, absolutely not. I can’t keep that rating anymore. For a story that started so beautifully, the finale felt like a slap in the face.

Overall:
It’s great in the beginning, amazing chemistry, strong visuals… but the ending ruins everything.
A fantasy BL with incredible potential that chose chaos instead of closure.

Não é ruim. Não é boa. É… Aceitável.

Cursed Love não é horrorosa, mas também está longe de ser a melhor coisa que eu já assisti, e isso é um fato, não dá pra fingir. A sensação que eu tive o tempo inteiro era de estar assistindo Mutantes, aquela novela icônica (por motivos duvidosos) da Record. Quem lembra sabe do que estou falando. Não faço ideia de porquê, mas a comparação simplesmente grudou na minha cabeça. E olha… as atuações e o CGI aqui não ajudam a afastar essa sensação.

As atuações, inclusive, me deram uma quebrada boa. Diálogos super expositivos, silêncios constrangedores que pareciam eternos, aquela emoção que simplesmente não acontece. É aquele combo de pequenos incômodos que vai se juntando até você perceber que não tá presa na história. E olha que eu queria estar.

Eu agradeço profundamente por não ter acompanhado isso semanalmente, porque cada final de capítulo simplesmente não entrega nada que te faça querer ir pro próximo. Zero gancho, zero ansiedade, zero sentimento de “meu Deus, preciso ver agora”. Se eu tivesse assistido assim, semanalzinho, teria abandonado sem peso na consciência. Eu só fui até o fim porque já tava tudo lançado e, pra ser justa, a série é fácil de maratonar, não irrita, só… existe. Mas semanal? Ah, não. Aí já era pedir demais.

A história é linear até demais. Tem série que funciona sendo linear, mas essa aqui não funcionou. Você meio que já sabe o que vai acontecer, mesmo sem saber toda a trama. E isso tira muita graça. Algumas situações são claramente feitas só pra facilitar o roteiro, e isso sempre me tirava da imersão. E o rastreador no fundo da caneca? Gente. Quem coloca um rastreador no fundo de uma caneca? A CANECA. O item mais manuseado de qualquer lugar. É pedir pra ser descoberto. Burrice pura. Eu fiquei em choque real com isso.

Sem falar nos diálogos dos momentos “impactantes”. Acontece alguma coisa, alguém solta um “NÃÃÃO!”, aí cai aquele silêncio mortal, todo mundo parado, encarando o vazio, como se estivessem esperando o diretor lembrar de dizer o que vem depois. Esses silêncios aleatórios entre uma cena e outra são de um constrangimento que eu não tava preparada pra sentir nesse restinho de ano.

E os vilões fazendo discurso? Eles falam, falam, falam… e ninguém faz nada. Ninguém interrompe, ninguém reage, ninguém dá um socão pra cortar o monólogo. Não, eles ficam esperando o cara terminar como se fosse falta de educação bater antes. Só em série mal feita isso existe.

As cenas de ação, misericórdia. A coreografia é tão marcada que parece aula de teatro da escola. Zero impacto, zero naturalidade. Quando você consegue ver a atuação durante a luta, e não o personagem lutando, é porque a coisa não tá funcionando. Parecia um grande teatro gravado, e não uma série.

Eu não diria que é uma série ruim, mas… boa também não é. Dá pra assistir? Dá. A história até tem seus momentos interessantes, mesmo sendo previsível. Os vilões não têm carisma nenhum. E o casal… ai, infelizmente, zero química. Tentaram vender um romance, mas não colou. Não senti fagulha, não senti borboletas. Eles são fofos juntos, o beijo é até bonito, mas não bate aquele “ai meu Deus, eles se amam”. Não rola emoção.

E o final? Olha. A gente sabe que o cara morre, ok, faz parte. Mas pra quê mandar alguém IGUAL a ele pra trabalhar na mesma equipe de resgate e ENCERRAR ASSIM, sem explicação nenhuma? Que final merda, sinceramente. Eu fiquei olhando pra tela tipo: “Sério que é isso? Vocês vão me deixar com essa cara mesmo?” Mas, considerando o nível geral… até que faz sentido terminar tosco, né.

Se quiser assistir, assista. Vai fundo. Vai com fé e com paciência. Mas não vá esperando algo incrível, porque Cursed Love definitivamente não entra nem no meu top mediano do ano.

Cómo arruinar una serie en 46 minutos.

Me tenés que estar jodiendo?! cómo vas a terminar la serie de la peor manera posible, flaco se te murieron dos personajes y uno de ellos es el principal y no derramaste ninguna lágrima y peor aún, te mencionan de "pasaron tres meses" cómo si hubieran pasado tres años para superar a tu supuesto amor?

tenía sus fallos desde el inicio pero lo compensaba con una buena trama, un tema de ciudades perdidos, conecciones por la reencarnación, un amor que traspasa el tiempo y buena química, tuvo todo para no tener un final apresurado.

Honestamente pensé que serían 10 capitulos, pero ya ví en las cuentas oficiales qué este si es el final, repito, se te murieron la mitad del elenco y no hubo ni un puto funeral al menos para Kor qué murió solo, mucho menos a Siwat que ES TU PERSONAJE PRINCIPAL!! Quien remil porongas es Pheem, que hace ahí y porque cornos se parece a Siwat? reencarnación es imposible, tendría que tener 3 meses de edad, pense "si sacan la tarjeta de hermano gemelo perdido" al menos se entendería porque son iguales pero Khun y Thara lo aceptaron como si nada... TRES PUTOS MESES PASARON y ya lo están superando??

Lo tenía todo, pero en estos momentos quiero atravesar la pantalla y ahorcar al director y guionistas.
