What a comfort series. I think i had amazing orgasm while watching this

Fucking finest drama. No flashy moments, no drama, no trauma, no manipulation. Whoever hating please keep quiet. U can enjoy ABO desire or wicked game but don't troll these kind of comfort healing drama. I can 100000000/10. Just a love story and friendship without giving any trauma and pain. I never saw this kind of BL drama from any country. China, Thailand should learn how to make comfort BL series. This series make feel like i am on peak of orgasms. What a drama. Uff butterfly those moments, fully moments. What a desert. Stop looking those average or negative comments. Perfect and great series. Japanese producers should make japanese BL for international fans as well like thai producer's are doing. They should use YouTube. Or promote without using those creepy fan service.

its so fluffy im gonna die

yeah sooooooo.. im obsessed. this show didn't seem like anything special to me when i first heard about it. all i knew was it was about a popular boy falling for his very unpopular classmate, and i knew the actor of hioki had been in smells like green spirit. so when i got into this show halfway through its airing, i had medium to low expectations. with that being said, this show is really good. the plot is.. ehhhhhhhh. i mean, its not bad by any means, but the plot is pretty cliche if you ask me. popular boy for some unknown reason becomes obsessed with his unpopular classmate and chases after him. we have seen this 127,000 times before. however, the plot wasn't BAD, and the mediocre plot still allowed for the cast to really deliver. oh my god these actors were PHENOMENAL. kan hideyoshi hit it out of the fucking park playing watarai. it really seemed like he had actual feelings for hioki, which i can't always say in other bls. the chemistry between kan hideyoshi and fujimoto kodai is really sweet and genuine. the characters were super cute, and the actors did a great job playing them. not only did i love the main characters, i also ADORED the side ones! i was really glad that there was no mean kid in watarai's friend group that would hate hioki or something, because that was a big worry of mine early on. the friends were really cute and supportve, which kinda just added to the overall fluffy vibe. except for a couple moments where fellow female classmates were jealous of hioki, there was not a ton of girl drama which i always appreciate. there actually wasn't that much drama at all. i was having a good time for 99% of the show. the conflicts were solved very quickly and the conflicts were already few and far between to begin with. overall, this show is super cute and fluffy. what the story is lacking is made up for with the great acting and chemistry between the two main leads and also all of the side characters.

Shoujo-like

Honestly, this drama is cliche, but that's what I like about it. The feeling I get from watching this is the same feeling I get when I read or watch shoujo. There were many scenes that made me feel excited and got my kicking my feet and screaming. The story is simple and any conflicts were resolved quickly, which made it not stressful to watch.

The acting also felt natural and not cringy like other japanese BLs. Fujimoto Kodai (Hioki) in particular, his acting was perfect (imo) and I really loved how he was able to convey his feelings through his eyes.

HEARTWARMING

I have not written a review in a really long time but I decided to write one for this japanese drama because it was such a pleasant watch. I will admit, the happiness of watching this show felt short-lived because after watching it while it was ongoing for the past couple of months, I felt connected to the characters.

If you're reading this review right now and you need something warm, sweet and light-hearted to watch on a cozy day then this is your show! No one does bls like the japanese and although I do not regularly watch japanese bls, this was a relaxing and cozy watch. The characters are so sweet and understanding and there isn't any unnecessary drama. The music is also so cute so I loved that too.

I think this show executes its story very well without making anything boring. You should give it a go!

This show is just perfect. It’s an unforgettable adventure about discovering first love and finding your place in the world. It made me smile, laugh, and even giggle shyly, leaving my heart with that warm, cozy feeling.

Honestly, I didn’t expect a teen series to be this mature and such a total green flag. Hioki is a quiet, introverted guy who suddenly finds himself in a world he never thought he belonged to. Watching his journey of growth was truly moving. He starts out insecure and withdrawn, afraid of being just a passing figure in someone else’s story, but he learns that vulnerability isn’t weakness and that he deserves to be loved for who he is.

But the real standout is Watarai. Seeing him put in the effort to win Hioki over is absolutely adorable. He’s confident, caring, and emotionally open. He respects Hioki’s feelings and is always tuned in to them, never pushing or pressuring him. Instead, he faces Hioki’s fears and insecurities with honesty and reassurance, making it clear that his feelings have nothing to do with gender, looks, or circumstances. He likes Hioki simply for who he is.

Another highlight is “The Guys,” Watarai’s friends. They’re the popular kids, but they’re kind and thoughtful. They welcome Hioki and later Hioki’s friends, without any prejudice. And when they find out Watarai and Hioki are in love, they accept it in the same warm, supportive way. They’re the kind of friends anyone would be lucky to have.

The whole cast is wonderful, but the chemistry between Fujimoto Kodai and Kan Hideyoshi really deserves special mention. Both actors are naturally expressive, with intense looks that conveyed emotions words couldn’t capture. Highly, highly recommended!

This is most definitely a masterpiece. All the unsaid things, small glances, pauses, hestitation.. this was built os such energetic intimacy, it left all my nerves tingling, like I needed more of that tension and they executed it absolutely masterfully. What could seem like a simple and cute lovestory has become a staple of how growth within a relationship looks. With Watarai's emotional intelligence, rawness, and restraint, to Hioki eventually coming towards him with nothing but his braveness. I truly loved and lived through every second of it.
I humbly wish for a second season, where the focus is on each of them equally again, where we see Watarai's growth not as just an object of longing, but as a fully articulated inner world, just like we saw in the first half of the show. Remarkable character.
The show trusted the viewer with subtext and instinct. Which to some may seem cute and fluffly, to others might felt electric and alive. This will stay as a favourite for a while, I feel.

I Came for a Simple Romance, I Stayed for Watarai

I honestly didn’t expect this at all.
After seeing so many exaggerated and overly explicit stories, this felt like such a refreshing surprise. I went into it thinking it would be just another silly high school romance, but it completely changed my mind.

The way the feelings were shown little by little, the slow and gentle pacing, the lack of rush — everything felt so calm and sincere. Nothing was forced, and that made the emotions feel even more real.

But above all, Watarai was my favorite part. Cold on the outside, yet incredibly sweet in his own quiet way. He completely stole my heart. I ended up liking him so much more than I expected.

This BL truly surpassed all my expectations, and I’m really glad I gave it a chance.
I just wish we could get a special episode showing the main couple as adults, seeing how their relationship grows over time. It feels like such a shame to say goodbye to such a beautiful and adorable character like Watarai.

A sweet Romance between classmates.

This is an excellent series. it is cast well. There is a very good chemistry between the 2 Male Leads. Watarai and Hioki are classmates. Watarai is a member of a group of boys in the same Class known as the 4 Heavenly Gods. it is a group of 4 good looking Boys that all the girls are after. It starts with selecting group members for a Class Trip. Everyone is breaking up into groups of 4. Nobody selects Hioki. Watarai asks his friends what is the maximum amount of group members allowed. His friend tells him 5.He asks if they can add Hook. One member of the group went to Middle School with Hioki and agreed to ask him. As the trip progresses it is clear to everyone in their group but, Hioki and Watarai that they like each other. The other members of the group give Watarai and Hioki little nudges in the right direction. They even invite Hioki to join them on a trip to the beach at the end of the year. on the trip to the Beach Watarai finally confesses to Hioki. Hioki asks him for time to sort out his feelings. it is during a Cultural Festival at school that Hioki basically in tears after a girl asked him to give Watarai a letter telling him she likes him that Hioki finally accepts Watarai's confession. He was afraid he was going to lose Watarai to a girl. All through the episodes Watarai always takes care of Hioki. God help anyone that tries to come between Watarai and his man! It is well acted and directed! Watarai could not ask for better Wingmen than his 3 friends! They do everything they can to support his and Hioki 's relationship.

IT'S SO DAMN CUTE

this is one of the rare Japanese series that you can feel they are acting because they love it and not because they want to gain popularity or money (ofc it's the main reason but I can tell they loved every bit of it) it's just so cute I LOVE THEM

Confetti sprinkled sweetness

An enjoyable watch. Simple story thats a break from complicated ones I seem to have watched lately. Natural acting, smooth flow of story so far. Very nice BGM too. It is oozing in cuteness & sweetness that's quirky funny at times. Highly recommended for BL neophytes or even seasoned BL fans who wants a break from hard-core bl relationships. The nice part of the story is how characters are experiencing feelings new to both of them and how they cutely navigate learning and exploring those feelings. Soooo cute that if there's a feeling for color "pink" that's how it'll seem to be. I am surprised that I am not seeing a lot of post about this jn social media. I came across this thumbing through new J BL release.

I'm in love with this drama

I’m completely in love with this drama! From the very first episode, it grabbed my attention and didn’t let go. The storyline is emotional, deep, and beautifully written, with just the right balance of romance, drama, and heartfelt moments. The characters are so well developed that you can’t help but get attached to them.

The acting is outstanding—every emotion feels real, and the chemistry between the leads is just perfect. I especially loved how the drama shows growth and healing throughout

Cute ... so far.

I thought about giving this drama a chance, due to the Japanese production company and the overall positive reviews. I don't regret it yet, but I'm still very eager, how this one will turn out in the end.

The good-looking populars being nice and caring is a welcoming change to most of the other high-school-romance dramas, which - obviously - all go the same way: The protagonists become enemies and then end up falling deeply and forever happy in love with each other.

I guess it's fine for me, that the boys don't want to get too involved with these nerve-scattering, superficial girls. But to be honest, not being interested in girls at all at this age seems a bit off to me (unless they are all gay, but due to their girlfriend stories that's not the case).
The story so far is (sorry to say that, but its true) nothing very special with its topic "popular guy falls in love with timid guy", BUT something makes me feel like the story will surprise us in the following episodes. The affections seems a bit too intense, maybe it will turn into something else? Thinking about it - I wouldn't be surprised if this slice-of life romance turns out to be a psychothriller. Nah, whatever - I will stay tuned for the next episode and try reading a bit of the novel in the meantime. Enjoy, you all!
