Expecting Something Spectacular, Got Something Spectacularly Awful

I haven't saw the original movie, but so much went wrong in this show. The original premise wasn't something extraordinary, so I was expecting a spectacular execution. This show is about Cheon Yeo Ri, who could see ghosts by accident. She was able to transmit her curse to other people just by touching them, that she had to mostly isolate herself. Yeo Ri helped a lot of ghosts by finding their remains and secretly reporting their cases to the officials. Ma Gang Uk was a prosecutor who occasionally received her reports and resolved the cases.

Park Eun Bin really shined in this show, she really never disappoints. Yang Se Jong also did a good job as Ma Gang Uk the prosecutor, he had a great chemistry with Eun Bin. Even the villains and supporting casts did well. Unfortunately, all these elite casts and performance were all wasted since the script was practically horrible. I felt bad for Ma Gang Uk. He seemed too good to be trapped in all these stupid conspiracies.

This show doesn't seem to have a stance. I think they didn't want to be catagorized as a mystery or law show and would like to put more focus on the romance, but at the end of the day it just fell between two stools. The ghosts cases disappeared at all after a while, and the main story about ML and FL, even with quite good chemistry between them, somehow felt half-baked. These all happened since the writer put so much focus on overly-entagled company succession problem and a 12 years ago murder case. The romance itself felt sidelined, they even added the most ridiculous plot for the noble-idiocy breakup I've ever seen: superstition. After all of the things they got through, the reason why Yeo Ri got cursed was only explained in a brief time and not even clear. I also didn't get it why Kang Min Hwan really wanted to destroy Reina Hotel. When he realized he dropped something at the murder scene, it was astonishing that instead of returning to the crime scene he hired a truck and tried to crash into Ma Gang Uk!! I mean he didn't even know Gang Uk had picked it up??? The product placements in this show were ridiculous.

I would recommend this show to... no one. Yes the first half was quite watchable, but at the end it drained to the toilet. This could be a stain to Park Eun Bin filmography.

A Great Idea, But Not Entirely Convincing

I had a good time watching Spooky Love, even though I came away from it with rather mixed feelings. The drama had some good ideas and an interesting mix of romance, comedy, and supernatural elements, but I felt that some aspects could have been developed further.
The story is enjoyable to follow, and I particularly liked the overall atmosphere. The supernatural aspect adds a little originality and helps the drama stand out from more typical romance dramas. However, I sometimes felt that this aspect wasn’t explored enough and that certain explanations were given a little too quickly.

When it comes to the romance, I really enjoyed the dynamic between Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong. Their chemistry works quite well, and their characters gradually become more endearing. I liked watching their relationship develop and seeing the little moments they shared, although I would have liked their feelings to be explored more deeply. Some stages of their relationship felt a little rushed, and I wish I had been able to feel more emotion from their romance.

As for the acting, Park Eun-bin convinced me once again. She does a great job of conveying the different emotions of her character, whether in lighter, romantic, or more emotional scenes. I especially enjoyed her expressions and the way she managed to make her character feel genuinely lovable.

Yang Se-jong was also convincing in his role. I liked the way he portrayed his character, especially his development throughout the story. His chemistry with Park Eun-bin works well and makes their scenes together enjoyable to watch. There were a few moments where some emotions felt slightly less natural to me, but overall, the main cast did a good job.

The supporting characters were interesting as well, although I think they could have been developed more. Some of them clearly had potential, and I would have liked to learn more about them instead of seeing them sometimes used mainly to move the main plot forward.

The pacing was also one of the aspects that bothered me a little. Some episodes were really interesting and made me want to keep watching, while others were slower and sometimes felt like the story was going around in circles. This doesn’t make the drama bad, but it does prevent the story from being as engaging as it could have been.

I also enjoyed the direction and visual atmosphere. The overall mood fits the combination of romance and supernatural elements very well, and some scenes were particularly beautiful. The soundtrack also complemented the important moments nicely without being too overwhelming.

Overall, Spooky Love is a pleasant drama with good chemistry between its leads, an enjoyable romance, and an interesting supernatural concept. Unfortunately, I think the story could have been developed further, and some of the characters deserved more depth.

It’s not a drama that completely stayed with me, but I definitely don’t regret watching it. I would recommend it to people who enjoy Korean romances with a touch of the supernatural and are looking for something relatively light and easy to watch.

Another Recycled Drama With No Soul

I found this drama so painfully boring. The story is bland, predictable, and has absolutely no stakes. The leads have basically zero chemistry, their relationship has no real substance, and it feels like they fall in love simply because the script says they’re supposed to.

The villains are boring, the character motivations are paper thin, and all the side plots just get thrown into the mix like a checklist that needs to be cleared before the finale.

And the worst part is that the drama has no soul. It keeps trying to force emotional moments that it never actually earned, especially toward the end.

Like, it’s 2026. Seeing the same recycled, reheated plots we’ve been getting shoved down our throats in practically every production lately is genuinely depressing. There’s nothing here that feels fresh, personal, or memorable. Just another perfectly packaged drama with nothing underneath.

This is not a bait and switch . . allegedly

I’m sure most people have high hopes for this show. The star power alone is enough to generate hype and traffic. The first few episodes look promising.

While the ghosts themselves are fairly tame. The crimes are abhorrent. It whets our appetite for what's to come. This only amps up once the ML joins the team. So many possibilities.

The love line of our OTP is also solid, it is a slow burn though. Our FL pushes back hard for good reasons, but the ML is smitten and will not take no for an answer. Some of their interactions are delicious.

So far so good and then the plot went off-piste. Quietly, the ghost stories dried up. It is not even a slow drip; it went cold turkey without any warning. Even the way the FL behaves changed. She became “normal”. She still wears her gloves and won’t touch anyone, but she doesn’t behave like she is being haunted any more. It feels off.

In its place is the OG chaebol succession trope. While that storyline was baked into the A-plot, its subsummation of all else skewered the narrative sideways. What happened to the original premise we were sold on?

Exhibit A: The title of the drama, Your Honour.

This is not helped by some of the most inept chaebol family members. The cousin and her branch of the family are clowns. In the end, I can only assume they are included as some kind of comedic relief. They still managed to generate their fair share of angst though. You lose some and you lose some more.

The real antagonist is a bit better, but he comes across more as an opportunist than a true evil mastermind. It is the usual dig a small hole which got deeper and deeper. Before you know it, you are drowning in a well. Of course, with a show like this, redemption is never out of the question.

This makes the second half rather awkward. It has a nice romantic throughline (with caveats), a humdrum chaebol/business plot and a total lack of Spookiness. I didn’t sloth quit for one reason . . . the FL.

She is every inch a rich heiress. She walks the walk and talks the talk. She looks beautiful in many scenes, and her acting is on point. She is ably assisted by the ML which is just as well when you consider what is happening to the rest of the show.

This leaves me in a bit of a quandary. I was looking forward to this series and then my interest dipped and dipped again.

I hung in there because of the promised romance. I'm thankful they delivered at least that much. It was a close call at times though. Beyond that, the show is meh.

I'm not going to talk about the pacing issues, inconsistencies and plot holes. It was a struggle to stay focused towards the end. All the components are there, yet it is not a satisfying watch. Feels mechanical. Peace.

Entertaining and Cute Couple

So far the first 2 eps were entertaining and sometimes funny. The concept is simple and without the solid acting, I wouldn't be watching it. There were scenarios that were trite. But with good acting, it's funny in a new light.
I thought the ML was very capable and has chemistry with the FL.
The format of the story is the two leads help solve the crime committed to the dead people. Within 2 eps, they already solved 2 murder cases.
I think the format will be similar the next episodes. I will watch it.

Very good ending. I ended up loving the couple chemistry. The ML is the perfect foil for the FL as she can be serious looking.

What's Not to Love About Spooky in Love

I just finished this Kdrama. You can read below my initial impressions. Now for the review after completing it.

This Kdrama had all the characteristics of a good rom com Kdrama. Here are what I consider the strengths:
1. Good actors - it was nice to see Park Eun Bin again. It had been awhile since I saw one of her dramas. She is really good in it, and when you have a decent storyline, she can make it shine.

Ong Seong Wu, a favorite of mine. I think this is the first drama where I've seen him play the antagonist. I like that he is spreading his wings in to other roles. It shows his acting range. His character had a good mix of menace, ambition, and a little lost mixed in. He showed a range of emotions, and I thought he did it well.

Yang Se Jong - I very much enjoyed his Gang Uk. He had that mix of goofy sexiness that can be really appealing. I said this before, but he reminds me of Rowoon. I hope Se Jong's career continues to flourish and I will be on the lookout for future dramas with him.

Kim do Wan - was really good at the spoiled, entitled asshole who went down the wrong road. It's hard to resist a sexy bad-boy.

There were good supporting characters who added to storylines, and scenes when we needed a laugh. The two Hymeonis were endearing, Yeori's aunt and cousins were both annoying and funny, and who didn't love Gang Uk's staff? And Yeori's staff...I loved those two!! I wish they had more scenes.

2. The storyline flowed moving it forward without too much lag or repeating subplots.
3. There were the typical cliches, but they fit the storyline and at times fit the conflicting narrative. For instance, Yeori's not touching anyone. Here she is, the heroine, the good girl, the perfect person, CEO, yet when presented with a situation like helping a fallen child, she pulls her hands away. This conflicting behavior was added in all the right places.
4. The ending. The story wrapped up nice and neat without unnecessary and over-the-top-scenes. I loved the ending scene of Yeori and Gang Uk walking at her families property holding hands. It was just the right ending.

Weaknesses:
I really enjoyed the storylines with the ghosts. I wished there would have been more of them. I wish we would have had hints of Jiwan's ghost with her. I thought this was a part of the story that didn't get enough airtime and could have been developed further. I really liked the scene where the ghosts were giving Yeori their warmth. It was very heartwarming and brought a tear to my eye.

There were some dumb scenes, like Yeori pushing Gang Uk out of the way only to be hit by the truck. The length of time she stood there watching the truck come at her was too long. It made the scene unbelievable. Also, her lying to Gang Uk about heading to Seung Jae's. After all they had been through together, she lies to him? That didn't make sense. But this is part of Kdrama weirdness that says, "If there is danger to be had, I will face it completely alone." In Kdramaland, people don't act like normal human beings. You just have to understand that.

All in all it was a good drama. I would highly recommend it.


This is after watching 6 episodes:
I'm writing this mainly for those who are still new to Kdramas and after watching the first 6 episodes. This drama has absolutely the best of all the reasons why I fell in love with Kdramas.

1. Kdrama cliches - Yes, there was a time when I thought they were cringy, but now they are endearing. If you think there are "things" you see when watching a series and you say to yourself "you're kidding, right?", then you've experienced the cringe. However, watch enough of these dramas and surprisingly, you will enjoy those parts. For example, the "sudden stumble turned-into a lip-lock" with the two main leads. Episode 6 had one and I loved it! There was a time when I would have said, "oh, brother that's so unrealistic." But now, I laugh, I applaud, I love it. It's just one of the many ways I love Korean entertainment.

2. The acting and the actors!!! This drama has some of my absolute favorites, and they are just wonderful. I have been a fan of Park Eun Bin since The King's Affection and still can't get enough of her work. Likewise, Ong Seong Wu has been a favorite since More Than Friends (one of my top 5 dramas of all time). New to me is Yang Se Jong. The charisma and sex appeal coming off of this actor is blowing my away. He's both goofy and sexy at the same time, which is hard to believably pull off, but he's doing it. I'm really enjoying his main male lead and finding myself looking up to see what other work he has done. Dare I say he's a formidable competitor of another sexy/goofy actor--Rowoon. The scenes with Eun bin's Yeo ri and Se Jong's Gang Uk are a mix of irritation yet sweet, awkward attraction that is funny yet leaves the viewer wanting more. This is the right mix to connect the characters to the viewer and keep them tuned in. This drama has the great combination of smart writing and great acting.
3. The storyline - full of twists and turns. Yes, it has the usual "chaebol" family theme, but has a twist this time with an heiress instead of heir, that sees ghosts and can pass this along to someone else by just touching them. Heiresses are usually fashion icons, which our main female lead is, but with the addition of wearing gloves all the time. What's up with that, right? Another twist--the two leads are attracted to each other but cannot touch else she passes along the curse of also seeing ghosts, so it leads to all kinds of funny, comical avoidance-type situations. Yes, it's kinda stupid, but when you're used to Kdrama behavior, it's comical. It makes me laugh. And, it shows the sense of humor of the writer. The awkwardness between the male and female leads when they are close to each other isn't passed off as normal in this drama. Instead, it's part of the plot. Take one beautiful, single, rich heiress and put her together with a sexy but kind and caring male and of course something will ignite...BUT she can't touch him or else he will be cursed along with her. So, you can see where this leads to all sorts of funny and awkward situations. These aren't the usual cliches'.

I love that a historical element has been added to the mix. The story of forbidden love from the Josean Era and our two main leads have to solve the mystery. There is also the typical evil-doing by others to try to thwart our two main leads in getting together. Jo Hye Joo is doing a superb job of playing the jealous, bitch-from-hell stirring up all sorts of trouble.

It's the typical Kdrama rom com with so much more added in. Give it a whirl...I think you will enjoy it.

Don't judge a book by its cover

Viewers have expressed great disappointment in this drama for a number of different reasons. The first and foremost one is that it is not a detective style story. So if you are looking for a detective who hunts literal ghosts, this is not it. If you are a Park Eun Bin fan, try Ghost Detective for that style of drama.

However, if you are looking for a comedic, beautiful, mature, wholesome, intelligently written romance with a splash of horror, get ready for a wild ride of corporate and family drama, spooky ghosts (both literal and figurative), and a heart warming romance.

Summary: After a failed marriage attempt which would have solidified her position as CEO of the luxurious Reina Hotel and Siena wedding venue, CEO Cheon Yeo Ri fights to keep her position and inheritance from her aunt and cousins. Yeo Ri's fatal flaw, after nearly drowning in a yachting accident, she can see ghosts and even make others see them. Because of her condition, Yeo Ri decides to live alone in her family's isolated home outside the city. And after working hours, she takes up the hobby of tipping off the police on where they can find dead bodies. One night while confirming a ghost's story, she runs into Prosecutor Ma Gang uk, and her isolated life and world are turned upside down as the two buck the living and the dead for a final show down as to who and what will rule Yeo Ri's life and love.

While a stand alone drama, it is based on the movie, Spellbound, a romantic horror comedy found on Tubi. For those who have watched the movie, the screenwriter, Choi Jung Mi, expertly fleshes out the characters, themes, spirit, and essence of the movie while still paying attention to the tiny details to create a masterful parody of opposites to the movie (both literal and figuratively). For those who haven't watched the movie, this drama is an intelligent parody that plays on all the traditional and modern definitions, idioms, images, and symbols pertaining to death, spooky, ghosts, and love while poking fun at all kdrama tropes. The drama is an homage to one of the characters found in the movie who writes romcom dramas.

Story pitfalls: While for me the story stayed strong to the end, many viewers expressed their disappoint over it not being a detective style story, that the ghosts disappeared, and that they were using all the kdrama tropes. This was part of the parody as realism was not a factor in this drama. Even the over abundance of product placement became comical, but they illustrated the theme of the drama. However, for me, where the story fell apart was episode 12 with our second male lead. Despite all the build up for a true, don't judge a book cover theme, he falls victim to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Sorry, Choi Jung Mi, you should have written an illusion for him to keep with the theme of the movie and drama.

Praise to the editors and cinematographer on giving us a visually stunning drama that enhanced the "spookiness" with its meaningful ghostly illusions through the use of filters, mirrors, water, and split screens. It helped bring out the experience of watching a spooky magic show which is the main theme of the movie. Loved the bats that flew up and down in the closing scenes, an homage to a scene in the movie and a symbol of the main theme.

Praise also to the props people for researching and incorporating easter eggs from the movie as well as new ones to keep the motif of the movie running through every episode of the drama. Loved the owls in the Singapore arc and lions in the CL hotel. The costume department also went above and beyond in helping to maintain the theme of traditional vs. modern, especially with Park Eun Bin's clothing. Her clothing, while giving a modern look, symbolizes the traditional meaning of Korean colors but also her character's growing sense of self and happiness. On one of her white outfits, the buttons look like targets, and she is wearing it during the time when she is most targeted.

The music supports the drama really well, especially the music for the couple. One particular song, Love and Ghost, summarizes the main theme of the drama. The background music also provides the right amount of emotion for the scene.

In order to catch all of the easter eggs from the movie and new ones, I have watched this drama at least three times, so rewatch value very high.

Despite its slapstick comedy, this is a mature, witty drama. The play on words, idioms, and superstitions is hilarious. They even managed to poke fun at many of the dramas that Park Eun Bin has been in. I'm not sure about the dramas that Se Jong has been in as this is my first time watching him. Even the bathroom humor, which is a Korean trope in itself, is very mature.

So, don't judge this drama by its cover, take time to look underneath to find the beauty in what it means to be "spooky in love."

Possessed by Episode 4, Exorcised by Episode 10

I don't write reviews anymore. I've retired from this. And yet — here we are.

I clicked on this randomly, expecting nothing, and got possessed. Genuinely could not put the remote down. Early on, this show had it ALL: two grown, emotionally mature adults who brace yourselves actually talk to each other?? A ghost-whispering heiress and a case-cracking, ghost-fearing prosecutor, tackling mysteries together like a competent team instead of a walking cliché. I was ready to build a shrine.

And then. THEN.

Somewhere around the midpoint, the show got bored of its own excellent premise, ditched the ghost-detective duo energy, and full-body-swapped into a Queen of Tears cosplay except with the political intrigue of someone who googled "chaebol drama plot generator" five minutes before the table read. If this had simmered underneath the main story from episode one, fine, I'd have respected the slow burn. Instead it just... swerved. Hard. No signal, no indicator, just straight off the narrative highway.

Every character who was so carefully built in the first act proceeds to nosedive. The villains? All bark, borrowed moves from a 2003 K-drama villain starter pack, zero actual menace. The second-lead guy is a walking red flag that everyone sees waving and just... collectively decides not to deal with. Chef's kiss avoidance.

And the finale oh, the finale. One rushed episode goes "so THIS is why everything happened," slaps on every trope in the cliché cookbook, and calls it closure. It's wrapped like a gift, sure shiny paper, nice bow except the box was already broken before they started wrapping.

But through all of it , the leads shine. Park Eun-bin does the thing she always does, effortlessly gliding between icy heiress, haunted mess, and giddy romantic without ever breaking the illusion. And watching Yang Se-jong is genuinely a treat the man commits so fully to the ridiculousness, the fear, the swoon, that he makes even the shakiest plot beats watchable. Their chemistry is criminally good, and honestly? These two deserve a drama that actually knows what to do with them. Give them a rewrite and a script that respects its own premise, and I'd sign up in a heartbeat. And also all the other actors did a veryy great job too. especially Seong Wu, exciteddd for him!

And can we talk about the OST? Genuinely beautiful — moody, cinematic, exactly what this show's atmosphere deserved even when the plot didn't. DK of SEVENTEEN's "Stay With Me" in particular hit way harder than a mid-drama chaebol subplot has any right to make me feel.

A Great Start Ruined by a Terrible Story

The first four episodes were actually really good, and I genuinely thought I had found something worth watching. Then somewhere in the middle, everything started falling apart, and by the end, it sucked so much that I found myself playing games or scrolling through Reels instead of paying attention.

Honestly, K-dramas have really lost their touch. They just don't feel the same anymore compared to the 2010–2020 era. Maybe I'm just nostalgic, but the stories back then felt so much more engaging and memorable.

The only thing that really saved this drama for me was the two main characters, Yeori and Gang Uk. Their characters were interesting enough to keep me going even when the story itself became a complete mess.

So yeah, great first four episodes, a disappointing middle and ending, and two main characters who deserved a much better story.

It could've been better. But its not

It started somewhat ok. The premise is not great, but done correctly, you might enjoy it at least. And so, I gave it a go. I liked the way they felt like real people, not just actors. But it got bad pretty fast.

Visuals. Meh. Maybe 2-3 decent stuff in regards of the cinematography (and a couple more of some nice landscapes), but nothing stands out really. In fact I could even say that has a lot of sh**y shots. Ok-ish effects ( but not always the same) for the ghosts appearing/disappearing.
Audio. Again, meh sound design. A couple of decent songs here and there, but overall it is full with sh***y "quirky" sound effects because "comedy". Same for the OP. Because ghostly/spooky/comedy. Uuuuuu...
The editing is all over the place, a lot of "dead" moments, or fast jumping from one scene to the next, so the pacing also keeps changing. The soft magic system (at least thats how I call it), or in this case, the supernatural one, is meh at best with its arbitrary rules. I can accept it, sure, but those rules were sht. Overall, I'd say mid production value.

Now the good parts. The casting is meh. Weirdly, great chemistry between ML and his colleagues, not so great with the FL. Its not bad, but it really doesn't feel natural, just two people doing their jobs. In terms of acting, the most noticeable (/amazing) is the FL. Here and there, some good acting from the rest of the cast. But it doesn't really matter how good or not an actor is, if his/her lines are not good.
So... Lets see. Not even 5 minutes in and it is already bringing up a lot of questions. From the dumb introduction, to her "disappearing" in no way possible and then made into another "comedic" moment. So, we can get a taste of the sh**y writing pretty early on. Lucky us. The dialogue is boring and/or sometimes, expository. Next, the story. Sometimes it is ok-ish and you can enjoy it at least. But most of the times, oh boy. And now I'm talking about the logic behind their actions. Having ghosts in it, that doesn't matter. Hypothetical, something happens. The rest of the cast starts acting in ways that are not normal, or logical. They act only how the writer (and the director) wishes them to, so that the plot moves forward. "Events" are created purely for the drama that should make us wonder whats going to happen next. Or how I like to call this, "cheap tricks". Smoke and mirrors. You get the idea.
** For example. I'm sure you came across at least one movie when there's a piece of dialogue such as "Let me get it straight: you think person X is/does this and that, and you wanna blackmail him/her? Wow... Good luck". While not the same, something like that happens in this k-drama. A so-called proof about a secret is made to be a big deal and used as leverage. You must understand, it is treated like something big, lots of stuff happening, the episode even ends with a cliffhanger. Not even a good one, because what happens next it is exactly what I was thinking it should happen (to be fair, that actress plays the role of a person not exactly bright, but thats the problem, the fault still remains in the sht writing). All for some time padding. Because stuff is needed to happen until the drama has left an X number of episodes and the ending can be set in motion. Anyway **

The story is full of cliche events, plot devices and plot contrivances. There might even be some plot holes, I remember there were some issues at some point, but I won't bother watching it again. So, stuff "just" happens and this moves the plot forward. The cast "just" happens to react in a certain way that moves the plot forward. Cheap tricks that bind with the plot. Like I said, sht writing. Based on the usual tropes and cliches, I figured out/guessed the plot-twists happening in ep 10/11/12/whatever (like I said, sht pacing, so I can't remember in which episodes the events took place) from the "beginning". The writer: "Oh, yeah! In the end, it all comes together perfectly". Me: "You're joking, right?"
Character development. Pfff.. Hahahahaha. Funny. Oh, right, before I forget this part again. The romance is ok. Enjoyable, if you will. Even without charisma, it is still enjoyable (but not good), yes. Comedy. That part is sht. And because it is mostly interwoven with the other aspects of the drama (like the romance), it muddles those aspects too. Its not "ghostbusters 2016" levels of cringe, but it definitely isn't ok. There were maybe only 5 good scenes (for example they carrying him drunk, with the car and the grandma stuff), the rest just meh.

I'll end it here. So, a mid-tier story at most, that functions mostly on "it just so happens that..." premises. Full of cliche stuff and so very predictable. The romance can be enjoyable at times, the comedy is meh at best. The FL does a lot of heavy-lifting, the ML is meh, but I'm sure other people will think he was fantastic. I guess I just don't get that way of acting he and one of his colleagues displayed. The other cast did more or less (maybe less) a decent job. The "bad person's" role and acting were low tier (I really don't get it why the writer did it like that). The production elements were meh. The supernatural thing was more like a crutch, used only for the sake of creating drama. And not even efficiently or constantly. In the first episodes it is over-saturated, then it happens only when the plot needs a push forward (and not as a logical action/response), then it goes on pause until the characters need it again. From all of these, you can see where this is going.
It gets a rating of meh. Sorry, a ...5 (question mark?). Barely. Yeah, no, fk it. It gets a rating of 4 (barely). Some good acting (or fantastic), some romance (but not the "wow" kind), some meh production elements. Pathetic plot-twists, not really good "villains". Oh, and the 10-20 min ending was also meh (deff not satisfying). No rewatch value. If you like someone from the cast, watch some of their other (and better) works instead.

Not spooky, and romance is eh.

So starting off with the title, when I heard it was called “Spooky in Love” I was expecting Halloween vibes but it wasn’t released near Halloween so that should’ve given a hint but anyways not spooky. There was ghost aspects but I feel like that starts off strong and then her being able to see ghosts just disappears and it follows the adopted brother and brother plot. Now, there were episodes that I was intrigued but overall it was just eh. I feel like it didn’t really feel like a romance and if it was gonna be like that it might as well have went full on the plot and ghosts. Also, what is up with the characters just getting hit by cars like both the female and male lead got ran over. I guess it was their way of creating suspense but anyways it was just eh.
