Can production house stop making this type of series?
Stumbled upon this series when browsing on iqiyi. Surprised that i saw Poom with a new partner (thought he's still with Saint). Turned out it's from Copy A Bangkok, i had my own doubt because of their previous series but still gave it a go. I will say, this is a very bad series. GenAI??? SERIOUSLY?? I despise it so much!! Why not use a real picture painted by artist or buy it from stock images?? Also the plot outline and progression is close to none. Like wdym they met ONE time, kissed, then the next thing they're together? Where's the character progression?? Hello?? The overall thing is just shallow nc filled series.Update: nah i'm not continuing.

REALLY... What the heck. Who cares about the peaches????
Peach Lover... 2/10 (1 star for both leads)This would have been a good drama if they kept the narrative about peaches & how it's related to seduction, love etc. Having to fast forward through all this nonsense about peaches is so annoying. When it first started out about the mask man talking breaking up with peach, etc.. the storyline was pretty interesting. They totally went off script of the ***Peach Lover*** to just ... what??? The title of the drama is PEACH LOVER... NOT... let's learn about an off the wall relationship while being narrated about freaking peaches & how they are infused throughout the WHOLE drama. The drama would have pulled higher ratings if it wasn't for the nonsense narration on peaches in my personal opinion..
Po, becoming interested in becoming the mask man's new Peach... all this was making it feel that it was going to be a fairly good out of the box drama. UNTIL........ every freaking time they started narrating about the fruit peaches! OMG.. dude, if I wanted to know about the fruit & how it's looked at as a seduction fruit... I'll GOOGLE ! I don't think the writer realized how annoying this was going to be.
The young male lead actor playing Po's role, his facial expressions, they can be creepy & there were plenty of times he looked like he wanted to devour the targeted area he was eyeing . What was even funnier was the scene with him eating a peach during ... well ... during. While he is thinking about the ***during*** and explaining to his friend about when eating ... YES, you're right... eating a PEACH... OMG... tag this drama Peachy Porn Comedy. I've seen more seduction with someone putting a condom on a banana with their mouth . I know that I've been hard on this character, but it's just been annoying how the writer gives this character such a sleazy side... then I thought, maybe not sleazy, but more on the Nymphomania side (which isn't a problem if he was). However, After watching & learning more of Po's inner thoughts.. I found later that he was neither... he just needed that special warmth & attention from someone he adored.
🙄HELLO... Why is the 2nd couple even in this??? Cute couple. yet... with the sleaziness of this drama, they're a bit out of place in my personal opinion.
The best part of this drama was when Po does his video diary .. It's sincere and helps understand his thoughts of who and why his feelings are at a crossroads with his relationship with Sasom. Sexual scenes became a little more tame after episode 3, but picked up again... . As the drama progresses, I noticed that Po is growing more mature in his thought process. I'm trying to find the reasoning behind this storyline........ then around Episode 8 is when things start to get serious.. and for the first time, I felt tears for Po. Yet, I felt his decision that he made was a wise choice, especially when the pain he felt inside during the issue with Sasom's past showing up & how Sasom couldn't bring himself to admit who or what position Po is to him. That even hurt me to tears... it's an uncomfortable feeling, especially after Sasom's confession the night prior.
One thing for sure.. this main leading actor Ki Niwat Naknuan is really outstanding with portraying his character (personally rated his acting with this character 10/10). His maturity, expressions & chemistry on screen ... he knows how to pull the viewer in. This is only his 2nd drama, but the 1st time being a main Lead. The other drama he is starring in is *Interminable, which I'm not sure I'll watch. I'm on the fence in deciding. One thing for sure, is I hope to see more of his acting skills in leading roles... he's definitely powerful. Hopefully, he will be matched with someone who can match his pace. Unless he's already with the actor Poom who plays his partner.
OMG.. I'm tired of ranting about this drama....Watch it at your own risk. I would say from ep 7 & 8 is when the story finally felt more focused.

Something in this just didn't click
Oh dear.... so on paper this should have had the components of an interesting bit edgier BL series. However something in this from the start didn't quite click. The interludes talking about peaches were strange. The images used in the interludes felt AI generated, but I'm not stating here as a fact if they were. The main couple Sasom and Po felt like they were lacking chemistry trough out the whole series, and in a series that had heavy focus on spicy scenes this kind of is an issue. The dialogue scenes were also awkward at time, because it just didn't feel that two actors clikced. The second couple was purposefully casted as the awkward couple of the series and with them it kind of ended up working at the end.
There was also a substantial plot hole in the series. In the first half of the series aside from Po's father causing issues, Sasom's parents were supposed to be very strict PR/reputation oriented in terms of who their son could be seen with and spend time with. While the plot line with Po's father was taken to the end, what on earth happened with the plot line regarding Samson's parents? At the end Po was able to attend Sasom's brother's wedding celebration with no issues or concerns from his parents that their son was bringing a normal person as his plus one (the only big issue being Sasom's ex appearing). It just seemed that Sasom's parents kind of just disappeared from the whole show along with the plot line created for them. It is always possible that I missed the plot point where this part was resolved, but I genuinely don't remember the show at any point explaining what happened to the whole Samsom and his PR micromanaging parents.
In general the trailer and maybe first two episodes were projecting the plot to be a lot spicier than it ended up being. I already guessed on ep 3 that Po and Sasom would probably not end up filming together, which kind of was the whole premises of them ever meeting. Sure there were quite many spicy scenes in the show and the production quality overall was pretty high. We do get some character development, but it isn't enough to save the series as a whole.
In then end, this was not a show for me.
If you like spicy scenes with some plot on the side than this could be an okay show to watch.
There was not enough plot to carry this trough 10 episodes. The last one ep especially just felt like a random compilation of scenes, rather than a cohesive episode.
Actors individually are good, they just might need different pairings in the future.

Story goes nowhere
It starts off strong. But sadly ends up lost and the story plot gets forgotten. Even the well done NC scene die down half way and turn into cut scenes. I speed watched the last two EPS just to finish it. Even the story on his father falls so flat. Sad to see. I think the actors deserved so much better then the script they got. At least the acting was good. I hope in the future they pick up more interesting scripts and less ring around fluff scenes just to add minutes to the show. 1 star. not worth time on, unless you want some hot NC scenes, but only for the first half. Was this review helpful to you?
Unbearably slow even at 2x speed!
Even at 2x speed, you will not lose any plot, coz there's no plot to even lose!To be honest, I started watching this coz of a shots/reels edit of its NC scene... and after completing the series, I can confidently say those were the only saving graces.
You know how sometimes we love it when the characters name-drop their own series within the show...This show took it so far into the cringe area that there was no joy left to be derived from this! I might not eat a peach in 2026; I am so fed up!

Not for me...
It felt like it was building towards something, but never actually delivered. The characters had some potential and there were a few nice moments, but overall everything felt quite surface-level and underdeveloped. I kept waiting for something to make me feel more connected, but it never happened. In the end, it just wasn’t for me.Was this review helpful to you?

It was disgusting.
So, I stumbled upon this "masterpiece of cinema" by accident. I've been watching it ongoing since the first episode. At first, it was very cringe-worthy and absurd, which made me laugh awkwardly but by the third episode it started to "melt" me. Everything was repetitive and boring and all the dialogues were just there to ensure that the main characters would end up "fucking" mindlessly. Until the ninth episode there was absolutely no drama, which is why it was unbearably boring to watch. Every time I opened a new episode I would scream, shout, and curse at everything that was happening in this stupid series but I kept watching to see where it would go. The last episode I watched now had absolutely no meaning and it was a copy of all the previous episodes (except for the ninth episode, which had a little bit of a plot). There was no original music (which was a good thing because I would have been annoyed by it appearing in every sex scene) but the tracks were generally well-chosen. That's the only positive aspect. Now, let's talk about the more specific negatives. I didn't like the acting. I won't say anything bad about the actors themselves but it's entirely the fault of the script, which I don't know how people could write. Their acting was solely focused on creating a "sexy" look and then having sex. That's all. It was unpleasant to watch. Another negative aspect is the second love story. It was completely unexplored and in the last episode the characters were only shown for half a minute. While the main characters didn't have any significant events, the secondary characters were stuck in a loop: In comes - flirting - kissing - sex - In comes... (where’s In in cast???) There was also almost no change of location, which made everything seem forced, plastic, and wrong. It was fake and boring. The disgusting sexualization of food (the peach in the opening sequence dripping with "something white") was particularly off-putting. In every episode there was a story about the peach accompanied by AI images with a sexual or romantic undertone. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT??? And most importantly there was the scene with the fried eggs. Writers, THIS is the highest degree of disgust. I can't imagine how it was possible to write and film this. In conclusion, everything is disgusting. I didn't like anything and I watched every episode without pleasure with a miserable expression on my face. Draw your own conclusions based on my review but I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch this. Was this review helpful to you?
So Much More Than NC Scenes
The series has not finished airing, so this is a preliminary review because I am reading so much vitriol around this title. All the talk about this series concerns the NC scenes. Yes, they are many and they are legend, but I take serious umbrage with those who are saying the NC scenes are the totality of the series. We are witnessing two characters Sasom (an actor) and Po (an illustrator) who seemingly enter into an erotic contract purely for sexual gratification. Both characters use sex not only to self-medicate and wrest control back for their lives, but they use sex to keep others at arms length. What unravels between them is a slow lowering of emotional and psychological walls- and yes, that lowering happens first through sex. Their emotional and psychological bond is formed in the moments they spend together after sexual encounters, when the artifice (or contractual purpose) of their relationship slips and they are human with each other.
To state there is no plot is to state that you might not be paying attention to a portrayal of one of the oldest defense mechanisms men and women use when they are emotionally and psychologically fragile- sex. This is a mature examination of what happens after the pretense of orgasm lends itself to emotional vulnerability.
There is a narrative arc for the couple and character arcs for the individuals (though admittedly, up to episode six, this seems more clear with Po).
We don't often see characters who hide in sex when all they want is emotional connection. Only Friends did it (and did it well) and that series was lauded for its bravery and frankness. Peach Lover, in my opinion, is taking Sasom and Po on a similar emotional awakening and is doing so without trope.
I will say, however, that criticism is warranted for the second couple. They are so tonally mismatched with the overall tone of the larger narrative that I feel like I'm watching amateur hour whenever they are onscreen.
I commend the director and actors for their bravery in telling a story they had to know would be wildly misinterpreted: all attention paid to NC scenes without some of the audience bothering to do the work of attempting to see their purpose in the larger narrative.
The series hasn't concluded, so they may not stick the landing. This is a series for a mature-minded audience who understands that sometimes, for far too many broken people, it is easier to get naked with your body than it is with your heart and mind. Finding that balance- to be naked physically, emotionally, and mentally in equal measure- is a healing journey and one worth telling and spending time with. Do they tell this story perfectly? No. Do they tell it well if you are paying attention- yes.

Thank god I have free will…
I watched the second episode and hated my life, then read a review where someone said that they were debating going back to it and decided not to because of the GenAI slop smeared throughout the entire show, and that's when I remembered that I have free will.Obviously, I think everything about this show is terrible, including but not limited to
1. The horrible acting (especially Po’s actor trying to portray lust but just speaking annoyingly slow and staring at the other guy all weird)
2. The OST (which you can barely call it that given that it's surely AI-generated as well because why not)
3. The premise/writing (because what the hell is even this …)
4. The GenAI images and voice-overs
All that to say, I will not be streaming because even if I'm watching it on an illegal website, I will NOT give people the impression that I stand for GenAI SLOP and terrible writing anyway. #FUCK AI! #AI IS NOT ART!

Bold, Sexy, and Surprisingly Intimate
Peach Lover earns a strong out of 7/10 for me, mainly because of how bold and confident it is right from the start. I honestly did not expect that level of sexual energy in the first episode, but it works. The series feels erotic, romantic, and unapologetically sensual without feeling awkward or forced.Poom completely surprised me here. I already loved him in The Sign and My Sweetheart Jom, but this role shows a much braver side of him. He really lets loose and commits fully, which makes his performance stand out. Ki is new to me, but for a first impression, he holds his own very well. Together, their chemistry feels natural, intense, and convincing, especially in the NC scenes.
The plot itself does not have the strongest start, but that is easy to overlook when the acting, intimacy, and emotional tension are this engaging. The connection between the leads carries the episode, and it makes you curious to see how their relationship will evolve beyond the physical side.
Overall, Peach Lover is bold, sexy, and emotionally promising but a weak story line.

Oh my, why?
I am utterly confused as to why this series was made?.??. You know what this is? This is Tides of Love season 1, but with sex instead of kissing. The plot is non-existent, the acting is terrible and the leads have ZERO chemistry. I really don't understand putting a budget behind this at all. We could totally save our money for something descent. I'm dropping this one. After 3 episodes it hasn't gotten any better at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Save yourself from this...
I don’t know yet whether I’ll drop this show, but three episodes in and I’m already questioning every decision I’ve ever made. About 80% of it is the most awkward, forced sex scenes imaginable. Another 10% is AI-generated slop, and the remaining 10% is conversations between the leads that exist solely as foreplay for more sex.I keep having to skip through the pointless AI segments because they add absolutely nothing to the plot. If the company didn’t have the budget to hire artists to illustrate those voiceovers, they should’ve cut them entirely instead of padding the runtime with lifeless filler. Strip out the plotless AI nonsense and the endless sex scenes, and these three episodes would barely amount to 20 minutes of teeth-grindingly awkward, forced chemistry.
Worst of all, this show came at the worst possible time. I can’t even rewatch My Sweetheart Jom anymore- forever cursed :’(
