Typical GMMTV production...

One of the shows I had to force me to watch. While the concept is interesting, the side couple was all around red flag in the beginning which did not bring me any joy in watching this. It got better in the end but besides the fluffy couple there was nothing what interested me. At least I can say it started bad and got better over time.

The script is not the worst, but of course the characters are not developed fully either. There are the typical BL clichés. It would not be a thai "comedy" without a lot of silly sound effects. Production quality was good, as expected from a GMMTV production but it felt boring overall. Also the acting did not feel stellar either, it was good for the main couple and "ok" for the rest of the ensemble. The highlight of this show as so often are the songs, which is one of the strong points of many GMMTV productions.

You could waste your time with worse shows, this is just "average", or you can watch something more interesting. Your choice.

Fun and cute with a bit of fantasy BUT...

I wish they would've stopped on one main couple. This series is actually good, with funny moments, an adorable couple, and supportive friends with a little twist of fantasy.
Unfortunately, the side couple ruined it for me. Was it still good? Yes. Did I enjoy every second of it? Not so much...
And listen, I love AunStamp as much as the next person, and I was extremely excited to see them in here finally act together.
But believe me when I say this was the biggest disappointment for me. Of course they can act, and the chemistry is there, but it's so unwatchable after everything their characters have done. I don't even hate mean characters because they add something to the plot, not everyone will be nice after all. What I hate, though, is the waste of screentime on their romance.

On the other hand, Tham and Mac were a really big surprise and sure is a good one too. That is their first time acting together, and it is already that great. Awkward here and there, but the acting is good and chemistry is present. I'm already excited to see them in more projects.

You can watch it on Netflix: https://www.netflix.com/title/82779822

Things I liked:
1. I like the main couple, their characters and their personalities really complement each other in my opinion.
2. Great chemistry.
3. Good acting.
4. Interesting plot. If not for the fantasy elements, this would be just the classic uni BL, which is not bad, but I do appreciate the little thing making this series at least a bit different.
5. Supportive friends.
6. A lot of funny moments. The goofy sound effects were present but not too annoying or pulled too much focus from me.

Things I disliked:
1. Krit and Mochi. I understand why they are a couple, because they are both as equally awful and self-centered. The whole breaking up with Rin on his birthday and pretending to be cheating on him while also saying that he had it coming because "I've told you before" is the most insane and lame thing to do.
Then Mochi assuming that Rin is "dating Khobfa just to spite Krit" is just so stupid and genuinely pissed me off. And of course, Krit has the audacity to come to Rin and say, "You don't have to do it just to spite me."
Like, buddy, the world doesn't revolve around the two of you. Please get a life.
2. Everyone being so obsessed with thinking Rin is with Khobfa to spite Krit. Can we move on?
3. Wasted screentime with a side couple.

interesting premise with weak worldbuilding and 2nd couple

Overall: the main couple was really sweet (except wtf was that thing in the finale, that's pretty cruel to pretend that). 10 episodes about 50 minutes each. Aired on Netflix https://www.netflix.com/watch/82779841

Content Warnings: manipulation, past & current bullying, past death

Watch Suggestions (to get rid of the horrid behavior of the side couple and take out most content warnings)
- read the synopsis, episode 1 watch 9-10:30, 31:40-41:45, 46:50-end
- episode 2 watch beginning-17:20, 17:35-20:30 and 24-end
- episode 3 watch 5:30-18:30, 20:05-27:30, 39-end
- episode 4 watch 4:50-10:25, 15:35-end
- episode 5 watch beginning-32:15 and 45-end
- episode 6 watch beginning-2:50, 12-15:10, 16:20-end
- episode 7 watch 40:30-end
- episode 8 watch 36-end
- episode 9 watch beginning-22
- episode 10 watch 41-end

What I Liked
- unique premise
- supportive friends (though not the guy friend towards the beginning of episode 1)
- caring moments

Room For Improvement
- world building made no sense, the pen was the dad's and Khobfa was already unlucky, then the mom threw in "the person you love will die" thing and then what she revealed in the finale made me scream in rage, really lazy writing
- the side couple, cannot believe he did that on his birthday, they were both awful and then 2 I'm sorrys from one of them and they are all friends again?!
- comedy sound effects
- talked about the bathroom twice in the first half of ep 1
- since when is being naked still wearing socks and shoes (in episode 7)
- the mom, she lied to her son and one hug and all was forgiven
- battle of the band stuff
- faking something in the finale was terrible
- the dad did a 180 with zero explanation

absolutely one of my favorite from the currenty airing Thai Bl's

i'm at episode 6 now and I need to say that i absolutely LOVE this series. It has some cliches and i love this type of stuff. The relationship between rin and khobfa is pretty cute and kind of funny.
I love how Khobfa shows more and more feelings around rin and starts to trust him to the point of developing feeling's.
I'm actually suprised that he didn't asked what the family inheritance from rin is? he just accepted and promised he isnt like the others.Still super cute bc of the exchange of bracelets and necklace
Can't wait to witness the moment he find out abt rin cursing him by accident, even tho i'm a bit scared abt a breaking up era i just hope he can understand it was an accident.
I'm also a big fan the actors StampAun. The characters krit and mochi are definitely fitting and such a attention holder.
The way u can notice that Mochi is missing his friendship with rin so much that he even gives up the chance he has with krit bc he doesn't want to break the promise. The constantly craving of the old friendship and little diva fight's with rin is definitely what i'm here for.
The characters are all pretty well written and have all a backstory.

Not worth my time

the overall plot was pretty avarege, but the dynamic between the exs felt forced. fantasy is not my genre of choice, so I cannot account for that aspect of it.

the side couple made little sense and was a huge red flag, again not to my preference.
the acting felt very stiff most of the time: most of the actors must be new as I haven’t seen them in other series.

the kissing scenes were bad, not horrible, but definitely not good (for both of the couples).

didn’t finish watching it as I think it’s a waste of my time. Dont really see how this is a comedy. expected better from Gmmtv
if you didn’t like it either, please don’t hate on the actors, but shame the company!

Started good but lost it's way

When you watch the episode 1 of this drama you'd think this is something related to magic like "my magical prophecy" where Rin accidentally curses Khobfa and is trying to fix his mistake but overtime the drama just feels like that isn't the case.

It's actually pretty good till ep 5 but then it gets boring. There's just too many plot holes. The whole curse track is sidelined. Random traumas are dragged in. The story just seems like bad writing.

For example, they show this whole plot where Rin is running away from Khobfa cz he doesn't want Khobfa to die like his dad did. But then next episode Rin says his dad ran away with someone🙄.

KritMochi's plot was just too annoying. I feel they should have just ended them in the 1st 2 episodes. I literally skipped their parts. I loved AunStamp in Revamp so i was kinda happy to see them here😑😑 but after seeing their character I'm like no thank you.

Overall it's pretty average 🙃

I really hated that second couple.

i feel like the first episode disappointed me enough. i dont understand why i forced myself to finish the whole thing. in the first episode khobfa had a deep voice, but then as he spoke more he didnt. and then i thought we were getting a brooding male character, but he wasnt. he reminded me of muenfah in your sky so i stayed but they ended up being nothing alike. that second couple got so much screen time and for what. they kept pissing me off. kept praying for their downfall throughout.

.

This was a pretty enjoyable watch! 🤍💕 I liked seeing Tham and Mac together, and they had some cute moments that made the series worth watching. 🥹✨

It wasn’t a series that completely stole my heart, but it had its good moments and was a nice addition to my Thai BL list. 🇹🇭📺

7/10 from me! ⭐💖

Loved main couple hated 2nd

All I can say is loved main couple hated the 2nd and here's why- A decayed root rots the whole tree and trying to force apples to grow will only rot those too. So expecting people to pick those apple from that tree as if it isn't already spoiled is outrageous. Don't feed anyone who isn't hungry especially not something you know will make them sick.

I've never been more frustrated with a 2nd couple before but this sums it up perfectly. Watch with caution.

A Decent, But Lukewarm Spell

This was a very cute series, but I wish the script was more developed. As for me, the positive aspects do outweigh the negative ones. The script was successful with making me care about the main couple and their ending. Their relationship development also had a nice pacing. The script made most of the characters very likable, especially Rin’s friend group. The script did an ok job introducing the magic aspect of the series, but not a good job creating Rin’s magical world. I’m not asking for something elaborate, just some more details. Unfortunately, this lost focus of the magical aspect of the story at times. There were times I forgot this was part of the plot, especially in the middle. There were also some story aspects that was clear as mud. They introduced random things at times without giving the full details. The main negative aspect for me was the secondary BL couple, I was not a fan of their storyline. Considering the number of episodes, they could have focused on giving us a more developed story with the main couple. Mochi and Krit's storyline had some interesting aspects towards the end, but it was just a case of too little, too late. Although the ending was charming, it was a little too predictable. They also gave some of the characters very feeble redemption arcs. The entire cast did an outstanding job trying to make this script work. It was a very smart move to cast a mixture of relatively new actors with the more seasoned ones. The cinematography was great most of the time, but had some continuity problems and weird editing. There was also some really bad green screen work in episode 5 and 6.

Random Note:

Despite the many flaws, I really did enjoy this. I could see myself rewatching it at some point.

The location used for Khobfa’s grandma’s house is the same one used in the series “I Wanna Be Sup’tar” (Win and Wannueng’s house) and “The Tuxedo” (Aiaoon’s house).

I’m 99% certain that the location for Krit’s parent’s house was also used in the series “Cat for Cash” (Tiger’s house), “Rearrange” (Ek’s house), “Tale of Thousand Stars” (Tian’s parent’s house), and “SOTUS S” (Kongpob’s parent’s house).

I feel like I’ve seen Rin’s house in another series, but not sure which one.

What exactly was the whole competition aspect of the script about?

The drama is really good, I really like the main leads and their story. But this is the 1st time I have skipped the 2nd couple like the ex is so annoying he pisses me off. Like that's not how you breakup with someone and both of them are so annoying (2nd couple). I completely skipped them/ their story. The main story is 8.5/10 for me.

It was good for the most part

I've been waiting for this since it was announced in the GMMTV 2026 lineup. I really loved Khobfa and Rin, they are honestly so cute together. I enjoyed their story from start to finish. Krit and Mochi really added nothing to the story until the end. I wish they wouldn't have spent so much time on them, I skipped nearly all their scenes together and I wasn't missing out on anything important. I really loved the ending too, super sweet and funny! Tham and Mac seem to have good chemistry and I wouldn't mind seeing them act in another series together! Overall, this show didn't fully live up to what it could've been, but it was great nonetheless! Can't wait to see Tham and Mac in another series, together or not, I'll be rooting for them!
