Amazing in a word
Actually, I am not someone who is a fan of sweet rom-com or light shows. I always preferred dark or heavy series, but for the first time, match point got me hooked on this kind of trope. Although its story and plot are just like any other series, the actors Teshow and Ping made the show very memorable and fresh. And I love the character Bay who is willing to go aginst his father for sun. Also the way he always understood sun and made sure sun doesn’t feel pressured to love or accept him, I really really loveeee the show. His down badism is another level, lol. To the people who thought it was enemies to lovers, they were never enemies to begin with (spoilers).
Anyways, I always kinda felt bad for both boat and sun in the story. If you watch the show, you will understand.
And I am rewatching it for the 3rd time already. Hope you guys will support the show and the actors who are very good at their job. Go leave a comment on yt, X, or any platform to show the support to the cast.

Match Point This Love Has Been Served ❤️
Plot SummaryThe story revolved around Sun and Bae. Two former best friends who have drifted apart due to a family conflict. Bae keeps pulling silly pranks on Sun and Sun retaliates, creating a headache for the wise Principal and feeble tennis coach, Kong.
When one bet gets out of hand the Principal orders that Bae and Sun form a tennis doubles team and compete at an interschool tournament. It is through the process of preparing for this event that hidden feelings come to the fore and a forbidden love blooms.
Bae’s older brother , Boat, has a secret. He has dropped out of medical school and his father has instructed him not to tell anyone in their community about it. When he meets Kong, his former schoolmate, this secret becomes harder to keep. When Kong senses that he is trying to keep his distance from him, he closes in, and a crush that has been buried for more than 10 years sends them both on a collision course with destiny and Boat’s father.
Review
I started Match Point as a leap of faith, I always give the Sunday show a 3 episode watch before I decide what to do. I am glad I did because I discovered this gem (I watched the pilot but that was ages ago and there were more than 20 announced shows, I honestly do not remember the plots of all the shows that have not aired yet). I fell in love with Teshow and Ping from their first scene and have devoured all of their content (pre and post series) ever since. They have portrayed Bae and Sun so well that I feel like they have become a part of my life. I will miss you so much BaeSun, I am part of the community that supported you all the way! This was a beautiful coming of age story, teaching both parents and their kids the meaning of letting go and taking a leap of faith.
BONUS I got to see the lovely Chimon as Coach Kong, who has his eyes and heart set on the handsome and suave Boat, Mr Sing😊. They are so well matched and I am eagerly awaiting their next work! Hopefully with a show of their own?🎉
I can’t wait to see what these 2 couples do in their next series!

A really great series; it makes me more motivated to exercise.Really cool, and The acting is just as impressive.
Don't forget to watch it legally to show respect for the cast and everyone who worked hard on this project.
You can watch it on YouTube; don't forget to leave a nice comment and give it as many likes as possible.
Focus on boosting engagement for posts about the series on YouTube, TikTok, and X rather than uploading spoilers, okay? And don't forget to keep pushing the hashtags so the series gains wider recognition.

Enemies to lovers trope done right. ♥️
I started Match Point thinking it would be a simple school BL with a tennis background, but honestly, it has turned into one of those series that I genuinely look forward to every week. The story is about rival families, two boys who initially don’t get along, forced partnership and eventually developing feelings — but the way Sun and Bay’s relationship is being built makes it really enjoyable to watch. For me, the biggest highlight is definitely Sun and Bay. Their chemistry feels natural rather than forced. They start off with that competitive, slightly annoying relationship where neither wants to give the other an advantage, but slowly you can see them becoming more comfortable with each other. What I really like is that their relationship doesn’t change overnight. There is an actual progression from rivalry to friendship and then to romantic feelings. That slow development makes their emotional moments feel much more satisfying.
Bay is probably my favourite character. He has such a fun personality and brings a lot of energy whenever he’s on screen. His teasing, confidence and sometimes chaotic behaviour make him entertaining, but underneath that, you can see how much he genuinely cares about Sun. Sun, on the other hand, is more controlled and serious, so their personalities balance each other really well.
The tennis element is another thing I appreciate. It isn’t just something added to make the series look different. The fact that they have to play doubles together actually becomes important to their relationship. They have to learn how to trust each other, communicate and understand each other’s strengths. In a way, their progress as a tennis pair mirrors their progress as a couple.
The family storyline is definitely dramatic. The rivalry between their fathers can sometimes feel exaggerated, especially considering how much is being put at stake because of their competition. But at the same time, it gives the boys a real obstacle instead of making the story only about misunderstandings between them.
I also like the balance between cute moments, comedy and emotional scenes. The series doesn’t become unnecessarily heavy all the time, and that makes it easy to binge or look forward to each new episode.
Another pleasant surprise for me has been the supporting characters and the second couple. They add something to the story rather than feeling completely disconnected from the main plot.
If I had to mention a weakness, I would say that some of the family drama feels a little too convenient, and I sometimes wish the series would spend even more time developing Sun and Bay’s relationship instead of stretching the external conflict.
Overall, though, I’m genuinely enjoying Match Point. It has that addictive feeling where an episode ends and you immediately want the next one. The combination of rivals-to-lovers, tennis, family drama, comedy and slow-burn romance works really well for me.

A nice surprise
I have to admit I wasn't familiar with Ping as an actor at all. And this is only the second series ever for Teshow following The Dark Dice. Consequently, my expectations weren't particularly high. However, as a couple, Teshow and Ping really surprised me in a positive way, and they carry the seriesalong with Sing and Chimon.Like most GMMTV productions, the story is a feel-good series. It has a solid foundation but isn't anything extraordinary. That’s why, for me, the rewatch value isn't really high unless you’re a huge fan of the actors. The music just isn't my taste, though that’s usually the case with BLs anyway.
I hope TeshowPing get their own series again next year. And I would love to see Teshow play something like a horror clown bad guy. His smile would be perfect for that.

Solida
E nulla, mi è piaciuta molto, molto valida.

Pointless Match
This is yet another overly wholesome series. It has a theme that is kind of wearing thin. It is another storyline around two families that do not get along; yet their sons, while seemingly ‘hating’ each other, are overtly displaying sexual tension between themselves without realizing it. When they were children, the two boys had been close and perhaps the seed of companionship already took hold; however, their families, in this case specifically the fathers, forced them to be ‘enemies’. As they grew, they became competitive and bitter rivalries and were compelled to be separated from one another. What frustrates me the most about these BLs is its glossing over of significant issues in the lives of the young men that are involved. Rather than filling up space with the same ongoing feuds with the fathers, do something constructive. We GOT there was a conflict and we understood that it affected the whole family. Now do SOMETHING about that. Make it real, relatable, and relevant. This story, while cute, is forgettable. It is a cookie-cutter one with a premise we have seen before. I did appreciate that one of the father’s came to his senses sooner than the other. A golden opportunity to have a sweet, genteel love story between the second couple was unfocused and actually not even developed; only teased at the very end. One CAN have a BL with two main love interests; there is no law against it.Was this review helpful to you?

Very light fluff
A new pairing from GMMTV, and a pairing I definitely did NOT see coming! But the chemistry is there!!! I love Match Point. Some may say it feels like another version of Bad Buddy, and yeah, I can see the resemblance. We have the forced-to-be-enemies-because-of-their-parents plot, but this time, it’s the sports version. 😂I love how this series makes me smile every week. It’s very light and feels fresh, maybe because it’s a new pairing. The storyline itself isn’t anything very new, but the way it was delivered through the script and the actors made it work. Both of them are good actors, and I have to admit that Ping really improved compared to his previous works.
Though, I still feel like I would’ve seen them fitting better in a college setup. But of course, I understand that if they changed the premise, the scholarship and national team storylines would have to change too, so I’ll just brush that off. Hahaha. 😂
What I really loved was how they handled their relationship, especially when the secret finally got out of the bag. I also loved how they understood that loving each other doesn’t always mean holding each other back. Sometimes, it means pushing each other to grow, even if that means being apart for a while. 🥹
I just wish we got to see more of SingChimon. Maybe they wanted to test the waters first with this new pairing, so I’ll just hope we get to see more of them in the future. 👀
This is honestly just such a heartwarming series. It gives you the fluff, the cute moments, and just enough angst to keep things interesting.
One scene I’ll probably remember is when Sun asked his dad if he could meet his friend, and his dad insisted that he bring dumplings. Then he removed the carrots. Turns out, his dad already knew that he was actually going to meet his brother, which is why he removed the carrots. 😭😭😭 That little detail got me! And honestly, I wish we got to see more of their family story because there was so much potential there.
And then they ended up becoming friends only?!
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! 😭😭😭
Well, that’s how it is. Definitely going to miss my Tofu couple. Huhuhuhu. 🥹
And one thing my friends pointed out that I can’t unsee anymore: their faces are ALWAYS red, especially Teshow. HAHAHAHAHA! 😭

Typical GMMTV summer show
Another partner for Ping and I think this time it clicked. While Teshow is not experienced he brought energy and Ping helped him push through. To have to learn how to play tennis is also a nice touch, especially we always see shows where everything is faked. They left playing tennis out in the finale, I would have liked to see a real match.Otherwise this series was as expected, in this case a fathers feud which already broke one family and on the brink to break the second family. It's not really enemies to lovers tropé because the two boys were never real enemies. Just the pranking was a bit excessive in the beginning of the series.
I was happy to see Chimon back, but on the other hand a bit disappointed that the SingChimon love story was only a side story and did not have extended screentime which could have brought more spice in the whole series, because here and there it was a bit long-winded. Production quality was very good, as expected. The actors were all doing a good job, especially the fathers even when they were annoying for me. :) Overall this was quite fun, but nothing stellar.
