What we got served is beyond expectations. When they said it's a 10 episode series I was like when will they gain momentum and when will it peak but Damn!!! The very first episode was a Banger!! The storyline looks so intriguing. The actors each one of them have done an excellent job. But coming to William-Est, this is just their second series and man how much they have grown since their first series ThamePo 🥹. They have nailed their characters for sure. Their body language, their eyes , their facial expressions all speak volumes. I am so proud to be their fan 💗.Barcode and Kin are equally good 👍🏻
This series will take the BL world by storm.

Did not disappoint

Have been waiting for new WilliamEst series since ThamePo and yes it’s one episode but it’s was great! Their chemistry is amazing which is not shocking it’s been there since the beginning but WOW another level idk how! Both William and Est have really improved in their acting in general and with each other. Also loved the look of the show especially with a lot of the 1st ep being in a bar/club those can be really tricking to shoot but really thought it turned out really well! Parbdee really does great cinematography the shots look beautiful. Cant wait to see what the rest of the episodes are like so excited to see what’s to come for all the characters!

The first episode of You Maniac is exactly what fans of WilliamEst have been waiting for ever since their electric chemistry in ThamePo. They're back, and this time their new dynamic feels like a challenge: two "red flags" caught in the same story.

Interesting character-focused story with complex characters

I really enjoyed You Maniac so far, because it puts so much focus on the characters. What kept me watching wasn’t just the plot, but getting to know everyone and seeing the different sides of their personalities come out as the story goes on.

I like that the characters aren’t perfect or easy to figure out. They all have their own flaws, insecurities and reasons for acting the way they do. I found myself trying to understand them rather than just deciding who was right or wrong, which made their relationships much more interesting to watch.

Some of the characters actually stayed on my mind after an episode ended, which I think says a lot about how well they’re written. I also really like that the series doesn’t rush their development and gives their personalities and relationships time to unfold naturally.

Overall, You Maniac has a really interesting way of telling a story through its characters. Their complexity and emotional journeys are what kept me invested, and I’m really curious to see where they go from here.

Very different from any bl out there

Honestly, I’ve never seen a BL like this where I can genuinely feel and sympathize with both characters.

Usually, they just make the “red flag” guy an actual criminal or make him way too toxic compared to the typical naive, innocent bottom. Then the whole story is basically about him hurting the other person, and in the end they find some stupid reason for him to forgive everything. Which has always felt like such a stupid plot to me.

You Maniac, on the other hand, is just so different. I can actually see and feel what both characters are going through, and I can understand why they act the way they do. I can even see myself reacting like them in some situations, and that’s honestly what makes it so interesting to me.

That’s how I view red flags, to be honest. Not every red flag is automatically some evil person who enjoys hurting people. Sometimes they’re just humans with complicated feelings, unresolved issues, and their own ways of dealing with them — and sometimes they act on those feelings in ways that end up hurting the people around them.

What I really love about this series is that it doesn’t seem to excuse their actions, but it actually lets you understand them. And more importantly, you can see them learning, changing, and slowly becoming better throughout the story.

For once, I’m not sitting there thinking, “WHY would you forgive him???” 😭 I actually understand both sides, and that makes the whole relationship and plot feel so much more complicated and real.

I genuinely didn’t even plan on watching this series, but I kept seeing certain scenes and eventually I couldn’t resist. And honestly? I’m SO glad I watched it because I’ve never sympathized with both characters this much before.

It’s such a different plot, and I’m completely hooked.

as a WilliamEst fans i have high expectations for the you maniac series and it did not disappoint one bit, it even EXCEEDED all my expectations. so far only 3 episode are released and each episode is like a new thing that leaves you wanting more. also, DeanMoth kisses every episode bro it’s crazy hot!!! i say this series is a must watch because it’s like something new and different from the other BL’s from gmmtv i’ve watched.

You Maniac is genuinely an extraordinary piece of storytelling. the narrative is compelling, the characters are remarkably nuanced and the emotional depth is simply unparalleled. the OST is equally exquisite, perfectly complementing the atmosphere and emotional weight of every scene. and the intro? absolutely non-skippable. every second of it. this is a story you genuinely cannot afford to overlook.

Loving the New Roles of William and Est

I love that William and Est has stepped into this kind of role, it challenges their acting skills and so far I think they are doing a great job. The series so far has really just portrayed some terrible characters and I mean that in a good way. Pun, who stalks Dean's whereabouts as well as his social media, not accepting the fact that he doesn't want him and not knowing boundaries. Ten who is forcing his friend to continue to put up a facade, knowing that Moth doesn't truly want Dean. And Dean who seems to be selfish. I do appreciate the fact that Dean at least communicated with Moth, apologizingto him. Moth, however, did not truly apologize to Dean for the name calling. I love when characters have flaws as it makes them a bit more relatable (although I can relate to none of these people😅). But its something different and so far I have enjoyed every episode.
