Finally, something new and fresh! The first episode did not disappoint. This series is very different from what usually airs, in all the right ways. These young actors are showing amazing layers, mannerisms, and body language. I noticed every little beat and rhythm. Fantastic work.

Second episode! These actors bounce off each other like they were made to work together. I’ve never seen such a smooth flow. These characters don't feel far from me at all either, they definitely exist and I’m just a fly on the wall.

This third episode...WOW! Got me craving more! Thank you for not taking the obvious route, giving us what's expected so quickly, and just carrying on. You are letting us viewers think and feel with the characters, allowing us to try and understand why they might do a certain thing instead of just following the norm. And it’s only the third episode!?! Oh my, we are in for a ride, huh?

We're all crazy for Dean and Moth

I haven’t read the novel, so I honestly have no idea how the story will unfold. And I think that’s one of the things I love about this series. It's unpredictable. There’s also a sense of realism to it. It’s not the typical butterflies and rainbows kind of story where, boom, they’re suddenly in love. The relationships feel like they’re actually developing, and there’s more to them than just romance.

And the chemistry with WilliamEst is overflowing. Add BarcodeKinn to the cast, and the visuals are just topnotch. Also, the acting is really good. Nothing feels forced or cringe, which makes the whole thing even more enjoyable to watch.

I personally love the banter between Dean and Moth (plus we get WE banter about DeanMoth too😂)Their personalities are so different, yet somehow, they’re alike in certain ways. I have a feeling the story will eventually reveal the traumas and experiences that shaped them into who they are now, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how that unfolds.

We’re only on Episode 3, so there’s obviously still a lot left to explore. But if there’s one thing I’ve taken away from the series so far, it’s this: we all have our red flags, whether we’re aware of them or not. Sometimes, they’re shaped by our experiences, our fears, and the things we’ve been through.

YouManiac gets more interesting with every episode!. It’s a fresh , catchy and unpredictable plot. There are so many little details that makes you hooked that every episode leaves you wanting more.

First of all WilliamEst chemistry is INSANE. It’s not just about DeamMoth obvious romantic moments either , it’s their body language, facial expressions, silences & the way they react to each other do so much of the storytelling. There’s a tension btn Dean & Moth that makes even the smallest interactions feel loaded. You can literally feel even when something is being left unsaid.

The cinematography deserves attention too. The visuals, lighting and little details are so beautifully used to reflect the characters and their emotions.

And the OST?? It fits the series so well😭, all the bgm music adds another layer to the scenes instead of just playing in the background & ‘Red Flag’ is genuinely one of the best OSTs I’ve ever heard

if you enjoy character-driven stories, complicated dynamics, intense chemistry, tension, beautiful visuals … especially the VISUALS 😭😭, a great OST and analysing every tiny detail after an episode ends… give YouManiac series a chance.

Really excited for the next EP

1st EP of You Maniac gave us a little intro of the character's daily life and things like how they behave, their friend circle, their routine we get they are red flags but wasn't sure why? As for many people these characters are kinda relatable but EP2 and EP3 gave us more in depth revelation and confusion too. Dean and moth both are entirely different yet same they have their different coping mechanisms that the other might not like at all. I thought EP 2 ending was Aaghh moment for me but EP 3 ending scene 😭(screammmm) that turn my godddddd🙊i could watch that on loop......back to the plot of EP2 so I loved how Dean managed to get moth's attention and curiousity with his surprise that even I felt that they must be feeling something but......🥲EP 3 had me bewildered after that drawer scene 😭

Honestly I'm loving this suspense and thrill of not knowing how will they behave their next moment what'll they do next because after ep 2 i thought they'll be nice but then EP3 happened then I was like okay this will take time they are back to that usual drama of miscommunication but WRITER SAID HELL NAHH😭AND I? LOVED IT OFC...........That scene is one of my favourite scenes when they had the conversation and cleared things

I'm really excited for EP 4 because preview again giving me that ick because they are being intimate while moth refusing to be serious with Dean🥲😭when he accepted to be in love with him in EP3 atp just kill me.........this is the real fun🙊

Refreshing queer story telling One of the best bls of 2026

I am loving you manaic such a character driven story full of chemistry, amazing music and beautiful direction!! So excited to see the story of dean and moth two red flags who will be crazy for each other. I love how red flags are portrayed here because this is real life red flags usually it’s about not caring about consent etc no but to me that’s criminal here it’s not communicating one is emotionally unavailable one is too available yet so lonelier. It’s such a queer story WilliamEst have done an amazing job. The way the story leaves us wanting more is a testament to the acting and all cast and crew. The story is set up so well and i feel like we r being put through a lot of emotions

My review for now

As a super-duper WilliamEst fan, I really wanted to love this. And honestly, the kilig factor is definitely there. Their chemistry and acting are still one of the strongest points of the series. WilliamEst is #1 on my list for a reason. 😭❤️

But story-wise… I couldn't help feeling that we've seen this kind of BL storyline many times before. The “swag, handsome, head-turner guy who everyone is obsessed with” character feels like a familiar formula, and I’m not sure why WilliamEst had to do another version of something that has already been explored so many times in BL.

What disappointed me more was the production itself. Some scenes -- production quality sometimes looked cheaper than what I expected from a WilliamEst project. It gave me the feeling that the series was put together too quickly.

And that's probably my biggest frustration: WilliamEst can do better than this.

Their acting is good. Their chemistry is there. The kilig is definitely working. 😂 But because they're two actors I genuinely love and have so much potential, I was hoping for a story that would challenge them more and give them characters with greater depth.

Episode 1 isn't terrible — it just feels too soon to recycle this kind of story again. And for WilliamEst(and their whole team), I was expecting something that feels more fresh, more ambitious, and more worthy of what they can actually deliver.

Still watching, still rooting for them. 🫶🏻
I just hope the story proves me wrong in the coming episodes. 👀

From the First scene i got hooked with the character MOTH. "I don't like women" was the main hook line for me. the funniest line was "Sorry, i have diabetes" this was funny af.

What should i not say about dean, his demeanor was honestly your typical neighborhood fboy in a club, but he knows the boundary and respected when moth said no to flirting. PLUS it's william at the end of the. The Most Hilarious thing is he is an influencer and all his posts consists of brainrot content. so, westies are like, "only dean's face is saving him atp".

WilliamEst now truly justified the character of DeanMoth. I am now egarly waiting for EP2
