A decent netflix thai action flick that could've accomplished more
As a fan of Baifern - when a new netflix action movie starring her comes out, it's a must-watch for me!Having said that though, I think while the movie holds pretty well on its own, I don't think I can give it anymore than a 7.5/10. The cast is generally likable and interesting enough, and the action scenes (especially the beginning) are great. It kinda falls off towards the middle and the end though where it's just just gunfights with endless generic goons which tends to respawn automatically just to continue the movie. I think the inconsistency in the number of generic goons really took me away from the story quite a fair bit, because you see maybe 12 of them come in, but the fights seem to show like 50 of them.
Another thing is the hitmen "villians". They're pretty two dimensional and honestly doesn't add much to the movie, Toni's the most interesting of the lot but it doesn't seem like he's exceptionally skilled or anything, just that he is ruthless and has a lot of money to throw around to hire more assassins and goons.
Still, it is what it is, if you're a fan of action movies, thai movies or Baifern, it's still quite a solid watch and an entertaining evening.

Not Your Average Lakorn Action
I found myself thoroughly enjoying this action-packed Thai romance. I've always liked Baifern as an actress and have watched many of Tor's dramas, but surprisingly, it was Porsche who completely stole my heart in this movie. At first glance, what starts out as a standard youth romance centered on a love triangle quickly becomes something much more enjoyable. Instead of focusing on romantic rivalry, the film places equal emphasis on the friendship and camaraderie between the three leads, making their bond just as compelling as the romance itself. Best of all, it avoids the usual second-lead heartbreak that often leaves viewers emotionally scarred.
The romance is adorable and gives you all the warm fuzzy feelings without taking away from the action. And speaking of action, I was genuinely impressed. As someone who's watched enough lakorns to expect chaotic gunfights and questionable logic, I wasn't expecting much. Instead, the film delivered energetic and well-choreographed fight scenes that enhanced the viewing experience. And Patcha as Chaba? Iconic. The queen was fighting in high heels and still managed to deliver aggressive, tightly choreographed action scenes. Respect.

FORCED SAD ENDING ! Do better netflix please
Excellent premise, casting, acting, action scenes. But characters didn't have brain which was the most necessary. Main faults of this cinema were -1. When Lhan finally put knife in hunter's stomach, she should've slit his throat to make sure he's dead. She should've carried those 2 knifes also.
2. Pran threw that trans lady from up, when he could've easily killed her. Most big mistake.
3. Biggest mistake of Pran was to give her blood right then. When he saw that bullet wasn't in her body anymore, he should've stitched her wound first. He didn't. A pure brainless creature. He could've easily lived.
4. They never showed us why this family became killers. Also no background of M which we needed.

What a action-packed rollercoaster!
It gave me chills! The way they were after her :/ Ending could be little bit better with more romantic scenes!! Not everyone has to die!! But overall it was a worth watching movie for me!! Pim, Thana and Sivakorn were the stars for me, their characters fully suit them! Whereas, Toni was a perfect villain, he scared the hell outta me throughout the movie and that guy who played transgender was way too scary too man!9/10

10/10 Violence, Would Recommend.
First and foremost - this is an action film. Is there romance and emotional delicacy in it? Yes, but it's still an action film; there is a lot of fighting. If you like action, you're probably going to like it, if you don't, then it's probably going to drag. If you're on the fence either way, I'd ask you to give it a try, because the fights are well designed and interesting to watch, sometimes rapidly switching from guns to knives to fists and back again, keeping things dynamic. If you're particularly squeamish though, maybe give this a pass, or bring a friend to tell you when it's safe to look; I know it would have my mother clutching her figurative pearls if she didn't faint from shock.Although the plot is very simple, and isn't going to bring you any great surprises, the film, from the cinematography to the actors, definitely puts all the effort in to give emotional depth to the available scenes. There is a maturity to it, a solemnity and bittersweetness that matches the level of violence it contrasts; this is not a cute and lighthearted saccharine romance with some punches thrown in, it is an absolutely, desperate against-all-odds, tooth and nail fight to see the sun rise one more time: love and devotion is just the seasoning to salt the wounds. The acting is great; you believe their relationships, their fears, hatreds and sorrows as well as their joys and cares, even the characters who have little screen time, or do not even speak at all (there is a character who seems to be mute/deaf, I'm not sure which).
It did have some weak points like them just jumping to blood transfusions way too quickly, and always life-threatening volumes for no apparent reason, and we don't spend a lot of time getting to know the whole family - but maybe that's just the director showing mercy so you aren't an absolute emotional wreck by the end of the film.
The fight scenes in this are amazing - bloody, extremely brutal, and equal parts tragic and badass. They may not be the most realistic (not that I get into that many shootouts myself, but these guys are definitely wearing bullet-resistant plot armour), but they really pack a punch, and honestly they had a fair bit of flair without it feeling wildly impractical (imo) like the parkour that was integrated like butter. The longer fights also feel...intelligent. Not that the characters are pulling any Einstein moves, or even that they don't do dumb things sometimes, but the struggle isn't simply brute force, you can clearly see the characters trying to out-maneuver each other as they lose and gain ground; it's often unclear who will win or lose, even in a fight where one side may seem to have the upper hand, things can go back and forth in the blink of an eye.
All in all, I think this is a well rounded action movie that balances it's intensity and brutality with moments of calm and softness, gradually ramping up the stakes from the first attack to the final battle, interspersing each instance with a period of peace for the viewers and characters to recover before raising the stakes for the next conflict.

You got exactly what you wanted, at the cost of everything you've ever known
No one in the house 89 deserved the ending they had, be it sad or be it happy .For a film that has such good visuals, the plot sucks; it could have been better. Also I am someone who can't turn off my brain while watching the movie, so better scripts always fascinate me. It itches my brain to think about how the whole plot felt so dumb and every terrible thing that happened could've been avoided.. its like the characters were just there for the sake of it but not really connecting with ANYTHING. literally no backstory of them .The ending was Not a good idea
It took TOO late for her to protect herself
Cinematography and top-notch acting by all cast!! The scene where the main leads lay together on a stretcher??? Peak peak acting without any dialogues , the male lead made me his fan with this specific scene .
The 2ml ( is he really the 2ml) they tried to give some touch of love triangle but it was more like a platonic trio and a couple.
I liked how Pran wanted to give her a choice to run or stay in the first half, and then in the second half he wanted her to choose him , like ehhhh? that's NOT how choice works

The story revolves around Elias, an elite assassin who operates under a strict code of conduct, and Sarah, an independent investigator who has just uncovered a corruption network involving Elias's clients. The "cat and mouse" cliché is elevated here by a crucial detail: they share a past that neither has been able to fully overcome. When Elias is tasked with eliminating the "obstacle" (which he discovers to be Sarah), the film abandons its pure action structure to delve into a psychological game of loyalty and betrayal.
Cutting-Edge Cinematography: The film utilizes camera technologies that make the fight sequences almost immersive. The art direction opts for cool, neon tones, creating a "cyber-noir" aesthetic that perfectly matches the characters' desolate atmosphere.
Chance Between the Protagonists: The film's greatest asset is its casting. The tension between the couple is built in silence, through glances and hesitations during the fights, making the romance more believable than the sometimes expository dialogue.
Action Choreography: Forget quick and confusing cuts. The fights here are fluid, brutal, and choreographed like a tragic dance, where each blow seems to carry an emotional weight.
My Dearest Assassin is an evolution of the genre. It understands that, in 2026, audiences want more than just explosions; they want to feel the anguish of characters forced to choose between duty and desire. It's a film about the scars that love leaves when forged in violence.

My Dearest Entertainment…

This the best movie ever
This film is incredible, there's a lot of emotion, especially sadness, loss, and struggle. What moved me is that it's truly a sacrifice, it breaks my heart... But I recommend this film...it's not very romantic, but you really understand the life of a criminal...you understand why you don't give up, that's all I can say.Was this review helpful to you?
