A disappointment for a chinese BL
This series is like a lacorn series, too much forced drama and very black/white characters. There is also a "DEMO" version out which is double the length and while I have not seen it yet, I bet it is much needed because this version leaves a lot to be desired of.It's also one of the few recent chinese BLs where they apply dead fish kisses, which is an automatic deduction in my book, because it kills the vibe. If you don't want to kiss, don't take the role. The acting is decent overall, Kais acting is the most convining. Production quality was also good, but the script is nothing to write home. At least it is not cringe.
Overall this is an average series, where the good parts balance out the bad parts but it's not a series I will watch again.

Full Story (DEMO) on YT
The 4 episodes listed here are not as good as the full 8 episodes (DEMO) which is available on YT. Both the leads are good looking and will make you swoon. The full storyline is way more satisfying and shows the development of their relationship better. Will not spoil the show for you guys. Messy, but the demo version was a whole lot better!
There wasn't much of a story. It just were a lot of random scenes, some cut off. But other scenes are too long, so that combined gives it a very messy vibe. Someone messed with Liang Chen, put his workplace in the dark, but no explanation why or anything following that up. The production was a big mess.The visuals and music were ok.
The subtitles were a mess.
Acting was good, not great. The mains had good chemistry, but the kisses were just lip pressing.
This was a waste of time for me.
Edit: I just watched the Full original demo version.
That was a whole lot better! At least that was a normal story. With good visuals and music.
The acting looked better and at least there was one good kiss.
But even after watching the demo version, some things in the 4 episode version still didn't make sense. They'd better used the demo version and never released the 4 episodes.

One of the messiest short dramas I’ve watched… But honestly, the "messiness" of the plot isn’t the problem here.This is a story about Liang Chen (LC) and He Wei Xing (WX).
They first meet when WX accompanies a friend to a photoshoot audition for LC’s clothing brand. But instead of the friend, LC becomes captivated by WX—and chooses him as his model.
From there, the two gradually grow closer day by day. Problems begin to arise when LC’s fans start noticing their closeness, while the other models become jealous of WX’s sudden rise and his relationship with LC.
So, how will their relationship turn out in the end?
That’s basically the main story. However, the biggest issue with this drama on MDL is that it actually consists of two separate parts, yet they are not properly listed there.
The 1st season—8 episodes, 15–20 minutes each—is actually great. It’s clear, well-paced, and tells the full story of how LC and WX meet and fall in love. As a standalone, it works perfectly.
Then comes the 2nd season, or what I called special episodes—4 more episodes, same length. This is the one listed on MDL. And honestly? It sucks. Confusing. All over the place. Feels like random scenes without context.
I watched it first—completely lost and frustrated. Only later did I find a review by CCJM mentioning a prequel. That’s when I realized: I watched them in the wrong order.
If you don’t know about Season 1, this “special” season makes no sense at all.
So overall:
* Season 1 (prequel/demo): 8⭐ — solid, heartfelt, well-told
* Special Episodes (listed on MDL): 2⭐ — messy, disjointed, underwhelming
* Averaged together, that leaves the drama with an overall score of 5⭐..
If you are planning to check this one out, make sure you track down the 8-episode version first, or you will be completely lost!

Why the low rating
I'm surprised that this is rated so low while some other BLs are not half as good and rated higher, then i noticed the duration and no. Of eps.I guess i watched the full version while others didn't, and that's why they judged only half of the show.
Anyway, the whole things wasn't perfect, but it was enjoyable enough, if you have a couple of hours to spare on a light healing love story then give it a go.
I like the chemistry and the two leads, they looks so comfortable and good together, story is simple and repetitive but still done well.
Generally, it was good so... recommended ~

If you can’t release a series properly… maybe don’t release it at all.
I was lucky to find the full series thanks to someone, but honestly, it could have been so much better in many ways.
