Perfect
I'm giving this show a perfect ten! I love both of the leads, both are gorgeous. It's a rare for BL to have an equal hot leads, and not making the other one (the uke) feminine or smaller or dumber. I love the enemy to lover trope. I love their bickering. I love how fool for love Ryo can be. I love how Zen always try to look cool. Was this review helpful to you?

“my love is heavy”
the story focuses on a friendly rivalry, both of the leads having this dynamic since high school. the premise of this was nice, but i think the way the “rivalry” falls flat really helped highlight how much of an excuse it was for these two to get closer and spend so much time together.zen is aloof, reserved from both the world itself and ryo to a degree. though they reunite at work, it’s pretty evident they don’t really know much about each other beyond work related subjects and the past that they shared.
it doesn’t take long to notice how devastatingly in love ryo has been this whole time, but seeing the pure anguish, the tormenting emotions in his eyes when he misunderstands zen, it really drives home how real his love has been for the one person that had been there for him.
the only thing that felt stunted in the storytelling was how little we see into their early friendship, but overall this was a genuinely good surprise from japan lately. it’s been a stagnant market for bl and i loved seeing yusuke come back to bl in a very different art form compared to his previous work. you could see his comfort in a whole different way with kaito and none of this felt as awkward as i had feared it would.

a breath of fresh BL air
This Japanese BL drama is exactly the kind of comfort watch that leaves you smiling long after the credits roll. It strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and emotional tension, making every episode easy to enjoy while still keeping you invested in the characters. What makes the series work so well is the chemistry between Ryo and Zen. Their relationship develops through subtle glances, playful rivalry, and unspoken feelings, allowing the attraction to grow naturally rather than being forced. The inner conflict between the two characters and their agony of confessing their love through the years. The story takes familiar romantic tropes and presents them with the understated charm that Japanese dramas often do best.
The blend of lighthearted humor and heartfelt drama kept me hooked from beginning to end. Watching their feelings evolve from their high school days into something deeper creates many genuinely giddy moments that pull you into their world. The romance feels sincere, and the kisses are beautifully executed—not staged for fan service, but filled with tenderness and believable emotion.
The performances are another highlight. Both actors bring warmth and authenticity to their roles, making it easy to root for them as individuals and as a couple. Their chemistry elevates every scene they share.
Fake Fact Lips is one of those rare series I would happily rewatch. Like Revenge Love, its charm lies in telling a complete story in a single season. Rather than stretching the magic across multiple projects, it leaves behind a memorable romance that feels complete, heartfelt, and worth revisiting.
And the theme song “Dareyori Sukinanoni” sang by the lead actors Kaito Hori and Yusuke Sato is pure golden it’s on my playlist. Depicting the agonizing inner conflict loving and losing a good friend when he confesses his

My new favorite
I love this story. The actors did an amazing job, and the story was funny, chaotic, and serious all at the same time. It wasn't just a generic BL; the story was actually really good. I will definitely watch it again (x10)! I'll follow the actors' new projects because I loved all of them (especially the MLs).
I was really tired of generic plots and predictable drama, but this story was AMAZING. I can't stop recommending it to all my friends.
I love the fact that the MLs actually had chemistry, and the story didn't resort to unnecessary drama

Less is more
I loved Cherry Magic, but this is in my book, up there, equaly good.To be fair, this drama doesnt need much words to describe it or summerise what it gave;
Clumsy, wholesomeness mature adult mlm. I'd even add in, it was realistic in many aspects (not all, but in many).
Worth the time. MDL didnt added the 10th episode nor it as extra as far as I could see, but it completes the drama even more.

Easly best jbl this year
easly one of my fav jbl,the leads have amazing chemistry, their banter is easily the best part, I loved watching zen and ryo rivalry friendship slowly shift into a romance relationship , especially since its obvious ryo has been in love all along,What i loved the most on how different their personalities yet they don't let things drag out, either by words or kisses, wOnly thing that i didnt enjoy is the futami character, his existence shaken up zen a'd ryo a'd made them talk to eo, but he was an annoying character that Im questioning if there was any other way to make our leads talk things out without, anyway he didn't ruin the show but ruined my mood, last episode was wholesome, a show totally worth watching

Sweet and funny with a little spice
This is one of the best bls I've seen in a while. They had me from the first episode. The main leads are a couple of hot, goofy goobers.Hilarious plot. What do you mean, they both liked each other since highschool but one was too afraid to say it and they other one was too cool(heh) to say anything? They are highkey daring eachother to confess the whole time ahdhskjshfkd. No obnoxiously drawn out misunderstandings (other than the obvious), and the acting was great. Had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Music superb
Acting really crispy with a touch of extra spice
Overall I loved this show....its filled with laughter,,,the Ohhh noo moments, wtf moments, did it really happen moments,Ohhh cute moments...
Like u get everything in just one show ,Nd u don't ask ur self y or how shld it end ,it's really nice.
Wld it be selfish of me to ask for an extra episode, like special wedding what what or myb how they were at school or maybe a behind the scenes... I would love it if they act together in another show.

Do Straights Gooning Together?
The premise feels a bit unrealistic for straight characters, but curiosity can lead people to unexpected situations—so I’ll let it slide. The characters are likable, and thankfully there’s no cringe acting.
So far, the story mostly switches between the office and home settings, which makes things feel a bit repetitive and visually dull. I haven’t read the manga, but I’m hoping future episodes introduce more variety in locations.

This starts with one of the dumbest bets I've ever seen—and somehow, it works perfectly. Two rivals who have competed in everything since high school continue their ridiculous rule: the loser must obey the winner. This time, it leads to something far more intimate.
It's chaotic, funny, and surprisingly addictive. The chemistry is already there, and the setup promises a messy but entertaining relationship.
