Ahn Tae Hwan is starting a new chapter.

On November 4, Nexus ENM announced that it has signed an exclusive contract with the actor, who is the younger brother of actress Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon), formerly of EXID.

"We're happy to be working with Ahn Tae Hwan, who has a distinct personality, solid acting skills and limitless potential," the agency said. "We will spare no support so he can fully show his acting and his many charms."

The news comes just a day after Ahn appeared in the Disney+ original series The Remarried Empress, which released its first episodes on November 3. He plays the son of Albani (Jung Young Joo) and a cousin of Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon).
