Kang Mi Na in talks to join Byeon Woo Seok in 'Solo Leveling'
Upcoming Chinese drama Love Story in the 1970s is officially set to premiere on February 21.
Set in the 1970s, Love Story in the 1970s follows Fei Ni, an ambitious worker at a hat-making factory, who is determined to get into university and change her fate.
Fei Ni's classmate Fang Mu Yang gets injured while saving someone and becomes a hero recognized for his bravery. Fei Ni voluntarily offers to take care of him, hoping that by doing good deeds, she can get recommended for admission to university.

But her hopes repeatedly fall through. One wave of pressure follows another. After several twists and turns, the two finally have a place of their own and become a newlywed couple sharing a bunk bed. They face hardships together and encourage each other to pursue their dreams. Though the road is bumpy and full of stumbles, a genuine affection quietly grows in their ordinary, warm life.
In the end, Fei Ni finally gets to go to university, and Fang Mu Yang also fulfills his dream of becoming a painter. The duo walk the road toward a life filled with love and a brighter future.

Through a "marriage first, love later" narrative, the series portrays the spirit of young people of that era — pragmatic yet kind, romantic yet still driven to strive for a better life.
The series not only focuses on the couple's personal growth but, through Fang Mu Jing and Qu Hua, also portrays the diverse choices and spirit of different young people as they navigate careers, family, and relationships. With multiple storylines woven together in parallel, the drama illustrates how young people, within that era, take root in the soil of reality and let their ideals and emotions shine.
Arthur Chen plays Fang Mu Yang, and Sun Qian comes as Fei Ni. Joining them are Wang Tian Chen (as Qu Hua), Cristy Guo (as Fang Mu Jing), Liu Min Tao, and Wu Yue, among others.
Love Story in the 1970s will premiere on February 21. Stream it on WeTV.
