Seo In Guk reveals what makes his 'See You at Work Tomorrow!' character unique
Netflix unveils stills for Bloodhounds Season 2.
Bloodhounds follows two young boxers who take down a powerful loan shark. Returning with Season 2, it is now set against the backdrop of a global underground boxing league, where Geon Woo (Woo Do Hwan) and Woo Jin (Lee Sang Yi) face off against Baek Jeong (Rain).
The stills heighten anticipation for the series' signature K-style action, returning with enhanced impact, speed, and scale.
As martial arts director Jung Sung Ho noted, "I found the premise — of entering a bare-knuckle illegal boxing league and fighting without gloves to protect loved ones — particularly striking."
Three years after going through a brutal fight against a gang of illegal loan sharks, Geon Woo has grown both physically and mentally and is now walking the path of a boxing champion. Martial arts director Jung Sung Ho explained Geon Woo's action style: "At the beginning, he uses a straightforward, heavy, traditional power-boxing style, but as he gains experience and acquires skills, he gradually becomes a fighter equipped with situational adaptability and even unconventional movements."

Woo Do Hwan shared that he focused on elevating his boxing skills. "I trained extensively to show a stronger version of Geon Woo than in Season 1."
Woo Jin, who has begun a new life as Geon Woo's boxing coach, is a fighter who uses his signature quick footwork as a weapon. Jung introduced Woo Jin as "the type of fighter who constantly taps at his opponent's openings [flaws] to create opportunities," and explained his action style: "What stands out is his intuitive footwork [as he] reads the opponent's rhythm and disrupts the flow, along with sharp combinations driven by a sense of speed. On top of that, he's a character who has the sense to create situations through calculated movements."
Lee Sang Yi explained, "As Woo Jin transitions from a fighter to a coach, you'll see a version of him that's faster and a bit stronger than before — a 'counter southpaw' (a left-hander who aims for a single knockout counterattack)."

The merciless fists of Baek Jeong amplify a sense of intimidation. As Rain described him as a "human weapon", he is truly a near-complete boxer who has strength, speed, and technique.
Jung Sung Ho added, "He is a ruthless character who freely uses both hands, demonstrates high-level boxing techniques, and stops at nothing to achieve his goals," explaining, "We focused on creating action that simultaneously conveys technical perfection and brutality."

With the appearance of Baek Jeong as the operator of the global illegal boxing league, Bloodhounds broadens its scope further as the fight intensifies. The action unfolds across a range of settings — boxing rings, homes, octagon cages, warehouses, and parking lots — each incorporating rhythms and moods that reflect the unique characteristics of the setting.
Bloodhounds Season 2 will be released worldwide on Netflix on April 3.
