Byun Yo Han & Kim Kang Woo are joining forces for a new film by 'The Outlaws' director

Byun Yo Han and Kim Kang Woo are confirmed to work together for the upcoming film Run To The West.

On August 13, movie industry insiders revealed that Byun Yo Han, Kim Kang Woo, and rising actress Bang Hyo Rin will be the main leads of the upcoming movie Run To The West. 

Run To The West will tell the story of people who are trapped between the human world and the underworld. 

The upcoming movie will be the next work of director Kang Yoon Sung, who is best known for creating the filmThe Outlaws and the K-drama Big Bet Season 1 and 2. 

Run To The West is reportedly an experimental film that will be produced with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). As AI continues to become more influential, this project is drawing attention for its potential to set a new trend in the film industry.

The upcoming film will be produced by Four Entertainment. According to reports, Run To The West will premiere this fall. 

Run To The West will be Byun Yo Han's fifth upcoming film. The actor is expected to star in the upcoming movies Pavane for the Dead Princess, Andong, Tazza 4, and Breathless Love. He is also expected to return to the small screen with the new K-drama Reborn. He will work alongside Esom. 

Meanwhile, this will be the second film of Kim Kang Woo in 2025. The actor made a cameo appearance in The Old Woman with the Knife, led by Lee Hye Young, Kim Sung Cheol, Yeon Woo Jin, Kim Mu Yeol, Shin Shi Ah, and Ok Ja Yeon. Kim Kang Woo will also join the cast of the upcoming historical romance K-drama Snowy Sun. 

Lastly, this film will be Bang Hyo Rin's return to the big screen. She last starred in the 2022 movie Hail to Hell. Aside from films, viewers can also watch Bang Hyo Rin in the upcoming K-dramas Aema and Knock Off.
