Cha Tae Hyun's next K-drama project will reportedly be Your Personal Taxi.
On September 8, media outlets reported that Cha Tae Hyun is officially returning to the K-drama scene through the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Your Personal Taxi. He will reportedly work with actress Lee Yun Hee, who was the first to receive the offer to lead the K-drama.
Cha Tae Hyun's agency, Basecamp Company, responded to the casting reports. According to them, "Actor Cha Tae Hyun received the offer to star in Your Personal Taxi, and he is currently reviewing it." Meanwhile, Lee Yun Hee's side hasn't responded to the casting yet.
Your Personal Taxi is a K-drama that will tell the story of a taxi driver who only picks up pre-booked passengers. It will reveal their personal stories and the favorite songs they want to hear. The drama is based on the webtoon of the same name by Mose Lee.
Director Jun Chang Geun and writer Kim Joon Mo will work together to create the upcoming K-drama.
Your Personal Taxi will air in the first half of 2026.

If Cha Tae Hyun confirms his casting, this will be his grand comeback to the K-drama scene after three years. He was last seen in the hit Disney+ K-drama Moving with Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Ryu Seung Beom, Kim Sung Kyun, and more. He also led the series Brain Works.
