Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Concrete Market, which first hit theaters earlier this month, will also be released as a series on an OTT platform.
On December 9, it was announced that the movie Concrete Market will be released as a complete version with seven episodes on the OTT platform Wavve. The series will premiere on December 23.
Concrete Market was originally planned as an OTT K-drama and had already finished filming. However, the K-drama's premiere was delayed due to the pandemic. Plans were subsequently modified, leading to the initial release of a 122-minute theatrical cut in cinemas. The movie version premiered in Korean theaters on December 3, 2025.
The film, now a series, depicts a world where an earthquake leaves only one apartment standing. Inside, the residents of the apartment begin trading in unique ways to survive.
Lee Jae In, Hong Kyung, Jeong Man Sik, Yoo Soo Bin, Kim Gook Hee, Choi Jung Woon, and more are leading Concrete Market.
Director Hong Gi Won helmed the film turned series. This is his debut work.
Concrete Market's series version will exclusively air on the OTT platform Wavve on December23.

Lee Jae In will portray the role of Choi Hee Ro, the mysterious woman who came out of nowhere and disrupts the order of the market.
Hong Kyung will be Kim Tae Jin, the the loyal right-hand man of the powerful figure of the market.
Jeong Man Sik will give life to the chracter named Park Sang Yong. He is the most powerful figure in the market and everyone is afraid of him.
Yoo Soo Bin will be Park Chul Min, the rival of Kim Tae Jin as the right hand-man of Park Sang Yong.
