Koo Kyo Hwan faces off against Shin Seung Ho in 'Reawaken Man: The Red'
Disney+ has announced the star-studded lineup of its upcoming original The Miracles of the Namiya General Store.
The Miracles of the Namiya General Store, a famous novel by Japanese author Keigo Higashino, tells the story of a trio of thieves who hide out in the Namiya General Store — a place where the past and the present are connected — and, as they send replies to letters seeking advice, come face to face with the secret behind a connection that is intertwined with their lives.
Ryu Seung Ryon will play the role of Go Min Jung, the owner who anchors the Namiya General Store. Kim Hye Yoon, Moon Sang Min, Lee Chae Min, and Yoon Kyung Ho will also bring their flair.
The trio of petty thieves who hide in the general store are played by Kang You Seok, Park Jung Woo, and Kim Sung Jung.
Joining them are Go Ah Sung, Lee Soo Kyung, Park Hee Soon, Oh Na Ra, Kim Min Ha, Bae In Hyuk, Moon Woo Jin, and Park Se Wan.
The special appearance lineup is equally star-studded. Veteran actresses Yeom Jung Ah, Yeom Hye Ran, and the charming Jung Chae Yeon and Jang Dong Yoon are coming to enrich the narrative further.
The Miracles of the Namiya General Store is reported to be in production, aiming for a 2027 release. Stay tuned!
