The much-awaited medical K-drama Resident Playbook has, at last, confirmed its premiere for April 12.
Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, is a drama about doctors working at Yulje Hospital, depicting the growth of residents who dream of becoming wise doctors as they navigate their struggles.
The drama features a stellar cast of rising stars, including Go Youn Jung (as Oh Yi Young), Shin Shi Ah (as Pyo Nam Kyung), Kang Yoo Seok (as Eom Jae Il), Han Ye Ji (as Kim Sa Bi), and Jung Joon Won (as Koo Do Won).
The new teaser captures the four residents in a frantic rush, dashing off the moment they receive a call — without even getting a chance to take a bite of their food. This glimpse into their chaotic hospital lives leaves viewers eager to see what each day has in store for them.
The production team of Resident Playbook stated, "We aim to tell a story that anyone entering the workforce can relate to by showcasing the growth of protagonists who lack knowledge, medical skills, and confidence." They added, "Please look forward to the journey of these young people as they face challenges in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable workplace, each progressing at their own pace."
Resident Playbook is set to premiere on April 12. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix. Watch the teaser here.
