Song Hye Kyo signs exclusive contract with new agency STAND
Good Partner Season 2 has unveiled stills from the script reading.
Good Partner Season 2 is a cathartic divorce show about Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Na Ra), an ace attorney for whom divorce is second nature, and Kang Hye Seong (Kim Hye Yoon), an experienced attorney who is deeply passionate about divorce cases, who become each other's good partners.
The story follows attorneys who choose the best possible option among imperfect alternatives at life's crossroads, where there are no right answers, as they navigate life that continues even after divorce, promising exhilarating catharsis and relatable moments.
Jang Na Ra returns as Cha Eun Kyung, now the managing partner of a new law firm, after previously portraying a star attorney. She brings even greater depth and maturity to her role.
Cha Eun Kyung is a veteran attorney with 20 years of experience who looks beyond each case to consider the lives of her clients. After leaving Daejeong Law Firm, she starts fresh by opening a new law firm dedicated to helping her clients find spring in their lives again. With her new partners, she takes her second divorce show to an even fiercer level.
Kim Hye Yoon takes on the role of Kang Hye Sung, a fifth-year attorney with prior experience who is deeply passionate about divorce cases. Kang Hye Sung has built her reputation in the local area by securing a series of victories in civil and criminal cases, thanks to her quick reflexes and tenacious persistence. Having an especially strong passion for divorce cases compared to civil and criminal cases, Kang Hye Seong meets the "legendary" Cha Eun Kyung.
P.O comes as Jeon Eun Ho, who leaves Daejeong alongside Cha Eun Kyung and grows into an attorney at the new law firm. Known for his approachable charm, Jeon Eun Ho is loved by colleagues and clients alike.
Park Hae Jin will be seen as Park Tae Soo, the managing partner of Taesu Law Firm and a formidable rival to Cha Eun Kyung's firm. A college classmate of Cha Eun Kyung, he has built his reputation by running "Lawfully Tae Soo", a channel with 200,000 subscribers. He is now competing for the title of the number one in the divorce field.
Believing that "being a lawyer is essentially serving people," he knows how to win over clients, raising curiosity about the kind of rivalry he will develop with Cha Eun Kyung.
The production team of Good Partner Season 2 heightened anticipation, stating, "In Season 2, we will return with even more intense divorce cases. The process of attorneys with different strategies and values resolving cases in their own ways will unfold in an intriguing manner."
