
Han Ji Eun is positively considering to star in Choi Min Sik's new K-drama 'The Boy in the Last Row'
Han Ji Eun's first K-drama project for 2026 will reportedly be The Boy in the Last Row.
On April 23, media outlets reported that Han Ji Eun will join Choi Min Shik, Choi Hyun Wook, Jin Kyung, Huh Joon Ho, Jo Han Chul, and Moon Jung Hee in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama The Boy in the Last Row.
Han Ji Eun's representative shared that the actress is positively considering the offer to star in the K-drama.
The Boy in the Last Row will base its story from the Spanish play of the same name by Juan Mayorga. It will showcase the journey of a failed writer turned Korean literature professor at a prestigious university who becomes fascinated by the writings of his student, who sits at the end of the classroom.
Director Kim Kyu Tae, who also created the works The Trunk, Our Blues, Live, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and It's Okay, That's Love will be in charge of the upcoming K-drama. It will be co-produced by Kakao Entertainment and GIST.
Han Ji Eun was offered the role of Sun Min Hee, a housekeeper for Choi Min Shik's character Mun O who is hiding a secret.
The Boy in the Last Row will exclusively premiere on Netflix in 2026 with 6 episodes.
This year, Han Ji Eun has already starred in two K-dramas.
She led the TVING K-drama Study Group with NU'EST's Hwang Min Hyun, Cha Woo Min, Lee Jong Hyun, Shin Su Hyun, and Yoon Sang Jung.
Han Ji Eun was also the supporting actress in the romance sci-fi K-drama When the Stars Gossip led by Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Kim Joo Heon, and Lee El.
She also appeared in the film Hitman 2.
Aside from the upcoming K-drama The Boy in the Last Row, Han Ji Eun is also set to star in the upcoming movies Only God Knows Everything and MORA.
