Crash 2 has unveiled Heo Sung Tae's stills.

Crash is an investigative drama about the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (TCI) tracking unusual traffic crime cases and uncovering the truth behind them. It is the first K-drama to tackle the theme of traffic crimes.

Crash 2 follows the Namgang Police Station's T.C.I. (Traffic Crime Investigation) team, revamped as a regional unit under the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters (NIH), taking on traffic-crime cases on a nationwide scale.

Heo Sung Tae is returning as Jung Chae Man, the founder of the Traffic Crime Investigation Team. Jung Chae Man personally recruited talented individuals to build the team and leads with support, allowing members to make the most of their abilities. Having lost his wife in a hit-and-run accident in the past, he has a particularly strong personal connection to traffic crimes and approaches them with a different perspective.

The stills capture Jung Chae Man returning as the team leader. Standing in front of an incident briefing board with his arms crossed and looking at his team members, Heo Sung Tae showcases the presence of a veteran detective who leads the investigative team with steel determination. In a moment of quiet reflection, he conveys both the pain of losing his wife and his determination to make sure the criminals are brought to justice.

However, alongside his serious side, his somewhat clumsy and comical nature remains unchanged. His attempts to maintain his dignity as the team leader among members who are always one step ahead of him in solving cases are expected to bring laughter.

Talking about returning for Season 2, Heo Sung Tae shared, "This is the first time I've appeared in a project as a lead for two seasons, so I'm deeply moved and grateful. I hope many people will relate to the weight of the subject matter and themes explored in the series."

He cited the expansion of the investigation's scope as the biggest change in Season 2: "As T.C.I.'s activities have expanded nationwide, the scale of the car action scenes has also grown and been upgraded. Since the series deals with traffic crimes that are actually being reported in the news, viewers will be able to enjoy it with an even greater sense of realism."

Crash 2 will premiere on November 16. Watch the teaser here.
