Hong Kyung and Lee Jae In make a dangerous deal to survive in 'Concrete Market'

Concrete Market follows survivors post a devastating earthquake that left nothing standing except an apartment complex. The story unfolds when survivors begin to trade for survival in the Hwanggung Market of the complex.

The trailer gives a glimpse of Hwanggung Market — the only apartment complex standing after a massive earthquake struck the world — where everything necessary for survival is traded not with money, but with canned goods. To survive within, Tae Jin (Hong Kyung) works under Park Sang Yong (Jeong Man Sik), the ultimate authority in the market, collecting payments. Then, a mysterious woman, Hee Ro (Lee Jae In), appears before him, bringing a change in the Hwanggung Market. She makes a dangerous proposition to Tae Jin: "Have you ever thought about wanting to become the owner of this market?"

Curiosity grows about the chaos brewing in the market as key figures with different agendas gather: Park Sang Yong, who rules Hwanggung Market through the power of information and corruption, and his right-hand man Park Cheol Min (Yoo Soo Bin), who constantly provokes and pressures Kim Tae Jin.

As such, the film aims to deliver a gripping narrative that vividly depicts a confined space where survival instincts clash with trade, showcasing humans revealing their true nature under extreme circumstances, intense psychological battles, and tense developments. 

Concrete Market will premiere on December 3.
