'Dr. Romantic' stars Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin's new K-drama announces premiere

Netflix's upcoming series Outback has confirmed production and unveiled its main cast, including Ryu Jun Yeol, Hong Kyung, Won Ji An, Jung Ho Yeon, and Justin H. Min.
Outback follows Si On, who heads to Australia after receiving news that his older sister has suddenly passed away. While tracing the traces his sister left behind in an unfamiliar city, he encounters suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and gradually delves deeper into the case.
Based on the webtoon G’Day of the same name, the drama will newly construct the characters' pasts and relationships.
Hong Kyung plays Si On, who investigates the case. After arriving in Australia following the sudden death of his older sister, he becomes increasingly suspicious as he checks the traces she left behind.
Ryu Jun Yeol plays Min Hyuk, a mysterious man at the center of the case Si On is pursuing.
Jung Ho Yeon plays Smiley, a content creator and streamer who communicates with people through live broadcasts in Australia.
Won Ji An plays Si On's older sister, Si Young, the starting point of the story. Si Young becomes a key figure at the heart of the mystery running throughout the series, as her death brings her younger brother to Australia and sets the case in motion.
Justin H. Min will appear as Scott, a Korean-American police officer.
Han Jun Hee, who directed D.P. and oversaw the planning of the Weak Hero series, will serve as the executive producer. Director Jeon Du Gwan will direct, having previously worked as an assistant director on D.P. Season 2.
The screenplay will be written by Park Hyun Woo, who wrote Weak Hero Class 2, with director Han Jun Hee also participating.
The K-drama's premiere date is yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
