'Dr. Romantic' stars Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin's new K-drama announces premiere

100 Days of Deception has unveiled a new teaser.
Set during the Japanese colonial period, 100 Days of Deception tells the story of Gyeongseong's top pickpocket Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung), who infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea as Geum Seo Hee, and Kim Tae Woong (Park Jin Young), who works as an elite interpreter in the administration while harboring a secret.
The teaser offers a glimpse of Kim Tae Woong's deepening suspicions about spy Lee Ga Kyeong. From the train bound for Gyeongseong, where the two first meet, to a residence where they unexpectedly cross paths again, and finally to the Japanese Government-General of Korea, where Lee Ga Kyeong infiltrates undercover. In all three encounters, Lee Ga Kyeong appears before Kim Tae Woong in a different place and in a different guise each time. Reacting with suspicion, Kim Tae Woong remarks, "First you were a pickpocket, then a live-in maid, and now you're a trainee."
Kim Tae Woong's father, Sato Shinichi (Jin Seon Kyu), the Inspector-General of Korea, also remains wary of the trainee interpreter "Geum Seo Hee," advising his son, "Make sure that girl comes to rely on you and trust you." Meanwhile, Yoo So Ran (Kim Hyun Joo) of the anti-Japanese resistance group Gukgukdan, which sent Lee Ga Kyung to infiltrate the Japanese Government-General of Korea under the name Geum Seo Hee, gives her a new mission as a spy: "Win Sato Hideo's heart. Make him your ally."
Although Kim Tae Woong's questions, "Why do you keep trying to get involved with me? Who exactly are you?" show that he remains suspicious, they also reveal his confusion as his curiosity grows against his will, along with an expectation he does not want to believe in.
100 Days of Deception will premiere on October 10. Watch the full teaser here.
