
Huh Joon Ho's first 2026 K-drama project will reportedly be Delusion.
On April 11, industry insiders revealed that actor Huh Joon Ho will join the cast of the upcoming Disney+ original K-drama Delusion. He will reportedly work with Bae Suzy, Kim Seon Ho, and Choi Hyun Wook.
Reports stated the actor has received the offer and is in the process of reviewing the final terms.
Delusion will reveal the story of a poor painter who was commissioned to draw a vampire woman in the background of Gyeongseong in 1935. The story will be based on a webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga that was serialized on Naver in 2019.
There are no details yet on the character that was offered to actor Huh Joon Ho.
Director Han Jae Rim, known for creating the works Face Reader, Emergency Declaration, The King, and the Netflix original K-drama The 8 Show, will helm the upcoming K-drama.
The production team for Delusion is reportedly preparing for filming, which will include overseas locations such as China. The series is expected to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2026.
Huh Joon Ho is currently starring in the SBS K-drama Buried Hearts. He is working alongside Park Hyung Sik, Lee Hae Young, Hong Hwa Yeon, Woo Hyun, and Kim Jung Nan.
After Buried Hearts, Huh Joon Ho's next K-drama project will be the Netflix original series Mercy for None, which will reportedly be released this year. He will work with So Ji Sub, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Bum Soo, Gong Myung, and Choo Young Woo in the upcoming action mystery series.
Early this year, Huh Joon Ho also made a special cameo appearance in the film Dark Nuns led by Song Hye Kyo, Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Jin Wook, Moon Woo Jin, Kim Gook Hee, Shin Jae Hwi, and more.
