'Hunter with a Scalpel' unveils new stills featuring Park Ju Hyun, Park Yong Woo, and Kang Hoon

LG U+ STUDIO X+U's new drama Hunter with a Scalpel released new stills, featuring Park Ju Hyun, Park Yong Woo, and Kang Hoon.

Hunter with a Scalpel tells the story of a genius forensic doctor, Se Hyeon (Park Ju Hyun), who, while performing an autopsy, discovers evidence linking her father Jo Gyun (Park Yong Woo) — believed to have died 20 years ago — to a murder case, and sets out to catch him before the police do.

The stills vividly capture the three characters either chasing the truth of the case or trying to conceal it. Seo Se Hyeon (Park Ju Hyun), the genius forensic doctor, is shown working in the autopsy room, donning her scrubs and focusing with utmost concentration. Se Hyeon also does fieldwork, investigating crime scenes. This piques curiosity about why she is visiting the site herself.

The stills also shine light on the two-faced Yun Jo Gyun (Park Yong Woo). Wearing a kind smile, he chats with visitors who come to his dry cleaning, but by night, he transforms into someone entirely different. 

Although Jo Gyun still wears a smile during a secretive phone call, the chilling vibe intensifies as it connects with the fact that he is a ruthless serial killer.

Jung Jeong Hyeon (Kang Hoon), the newly appointed Team Leader of the Violent Crimes Unit at Yongcheon Police Station, builds his image as a passionate police officer. The scene of him staying alone late into the night in his office, reviewing case files, conveys his sincerity, commitment, and strong sense of responsibility toward solving the case. 

Another still captures him going into a dark alley. His determination as he pursues the criminal reveals his passion and sense of justice.

Hunter with a Scalpel is coming June 16 on Disney+ in select regions.
