Jo Jung Suk offered a role in a new drama

Actor Jo Jung Suk is in talks to star in the new drama Paper Man (literal title).

On February 5, Jo Jung Suk's agency, JAM Entertainment, stated, "He has received an offer to star in the drama Paper Man and is reviewing it positively."

Paper Man tells the story of a colorblind man who finds himself entangled with counterfeit money. At the helm will be Lee Il Hyung, who directed A Violent Prosecutor and the Netflix drama Karma.

Jo Jung Suk is a household name famous for his roles in hit dramas such as Hospital Playlist and The Nokdu Flower. 

Last year, he starred in My Daughter Is a Zombie, which drew in about 5.64 million moviegoers. Until last month, he met fans through the concert "SHOW: SIDE B".

On January 14, he also received many congratulations after news broke that he had welcomed his second daughter. Through his YouTube channel, he shared that he would be taking a break from uploading videos for the time being due to childcare.

Jo Jung Suk tied the knot with singer Gummy in October 2018, and the couple were blessed with their first daughter in August 2020.
