Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook are confirmed to work for the second time through the K-drama Human X Gumiho.
On November 12, it was officially confirmed that the upcoming K-drama Human X Gumiho will be led by top stars Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook. This will be their follow-up work together after their upcoming film, Colony.
Human X Gumiho will revolve around the romance between a top actress who is secretly a 2,000-year-old gumiho, who bewitches humans, and a unique human whose powers she can't control.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of writer Im Me Ah Ri. She is known for being the assistant of renowned writer Kim Eun Sook (The Glory, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun). She gained popularity after she worked on the K-dramas Doom at Your Service and The Beauty Inside. Director Kim Jung Shik (No Gain, No Love, Strong Girl Namsoon, and Work Later, Drink Now) will work with writer Im Me Ah Ri in the upcoming K-drama.
Human X Gumiho will reportedly begin production in March 2026. The release date is still undecided, and the series will have a total of 14 episodes. The K-drama will exclusively air on JTBC.

Jun Ji Hyun will portray the role of Gu Ja Hong. She is a top actress who is known for her outstanding beauty and acting skills. Aside from being a top actress, she is also a 2,000-year-old gumiho (nine-tailed fox). As a gumiho, she is skilled at enchanting and manipulating humans. Upon meeting Choi Seok, she found that her abilities, for some mysterious reason, did not work on him.
Ji Chang Wook will portray the role of Choi Seok, who works as a shaman and also as the director of the Osung Museum. While he seems easygoing, Choi Seok holds the unique power to sense the world's darker sides. His life takes a dramatic turn when the gumiho unexpectedly crosses his path, leading to a strange and powerful connection.
