Namkoong Min's crumbling marriage takes a drastic turn in 'The Husband'

Kang Mi Na joins talks to star in a new K-drama.
According to MyDaily's coverage on June 9, Kang Mi Na has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming drama Protect Me.
Her agency Story J Company commented, "Kang Mi Na received an offer to appear in the new drama Protect Me and is positively reviewing it."
Protect Me is an office rom-com about a former national-team detective who trusts neither herself nor others. She goes undercover as the secretary of a third-generation chaebol heir who doesn't trust anyone. The story follows two distrustful individuals who come to protect and save each other. The drama is based on the webtoon of the same Korean name.
Kang Mi Na has been offered to play Kang Hae Ra, a sergeant in the violent crimes unit. A former Taekwondo athlete, she joined the police through a special recruitment program for martial arts athletes and now works as a violent crimes detective. Her agility and bright, mischievous smile give her a unique charm. She is sharp when it comes to other people's matters, but surprisingly clueless about her own. In a positive light, she is warm-hearted and affectionate; less flatteringly, she is someone who tends to involve herself too much in other people's business.
Bae In Hyuk has been offered the male lead.
