Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Kang You Seok is the next actor to receive an offer to star in the upcoming Solo Leveling K-drama adaptation.
On November 19, media outlets reported that Kang You Seok will join hands with Byeon Woo Seok and Han So Hee in the upcoming K-drama adaptation of the popular web novel Solo Leveling. According to reports, he will be the helper of Byeon Woo Seok's character.
If Kang You Seok confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming project.
The actor is also set to star in the upcoming K-drama The Mentalist with Lee Si Young, Park Si Hoo, Go Woo Ri, Kim Jung Tae, and Jung Won Chang.
Kang You Seok is also expected to lead the upcoming film 6 Lying University Students with Kwak Dong Yeon, Shin Seung Ho, Cho Yi Hyun, and Kim Jae Won.
This year has been a great one for Kang You Seok. He became more well-known after starring in the K-dramas When Life Gives You Tangerines, Resident Playbook, and Law and the City.

Solo Leveling will be depicted from the web novel of the same name by Chu Gong. It will tell the story of hunters (human beings who have supernatural abilities) and their battle against monsters to protect the real world. It will focus on Sung Jin Woo, a weak hunter who finds himself in an endless battle for survival. After experiencing a life-threatening crisis, he gains supernatural abilities, and as he levels up, he becomes mankind's hope.
Directors Lee Hae Joon and Kim Byung Seo, the same team who worked on the 2019 film Ashfall, will helm the upcoming K-drama. Kakao Entertainment and Men's Picture will produce the K-drama.
Byeon Woo Seok will portray the role of the main character named Seong Jin U. Han So Hee got the offer to star as Cha Hae In. Meanwhile, Kang You Seok got the offer to portray the role of Yoo Jin Ho.
He is a hunter who also works as a CEO and a famous game developer. He will later help Seong Jin U in the story.
Solo Leveling will exclusively premiere on Netflix.
