Actress Kim Da Mi has been offered a "killer" role in an upcoming K-drama.

According to a report by MyDaily on April 3, Kim Da Mi will take on the lead role in the drama Obedient Killer (literal title).

Responding to the report, her agency stated, "It is one of the projects currently under review."

Obedient Killer tells the story of a woman whose only life goal had been to be the perfect wife and mother. But after her divorce, she takes a job that was never part of her plan, in order to survive. In a suspicious company that presents itself as a supporter of women entering the workforce, this woman — who has lived as the obedient daughter and a devoted wife, making no sound or leaving a trace of her existence — discovers an unexpected talent: a talent to eliminate a person without a sound or trace. The drama is set in the 1970s–1980s.

Kim Da Mi has been offered to play Go Dal Bun. She is a woman who had been an obedient wife and, after getting divorced, gets into a suspicious job to bring her young daughter back.

Kim Da Mi previously played such a role involving taking life in the Korean action thriller The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion.

Writer Kang Eun Kyung of Dr. Romantic and Gyeongseong Creature joins as a creator, and Joo Hwa Mi, who penned the screenplay of The Atypical Family, is the scriptwriter, with director Lee Jung Heum helming the series.
