Jennie's agency vows legal action over malicious content
Actress Kim Do Yeon is in talks to join the upcoming drama We Are the Zombies.
On August 18, a representative from Kim Do Yeon's agency Fantagio told Ilgan Sports, "We are positively considering her appearance [in the drama]."
We Are the Zombies is based on a webtoon of the same name. Singer and actor Doh Kyung Soo (D.O.) is in talks to be cast as the lead character, Kim In Jong.
The drama is set in Seoul Tower, a massive shopping mall where a zombie outbreak occurs, and follows the story of Kim In Jong and others who were not rescued in time as they coexist with zombies inside the building.
Kim Do Yeon has reportedly been offered the role of Kim So Young, the female lead and the leader of the hideout where the survivors in the building have gathered.
Kim Do Yeon made her debut as a member of the project group I.O.I through Mnet's Produce 101 in 2016, before redebuting as a member of Weki Meki in 2017. She has since appeared in various productions, including the dramas My Roommate Is a Gumiho and Jirisan, as well as the film Idiot Girls and School Ghost: School Anniversary.
