Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Kim Hyang Gi and Kang Sang Jun are pairing up in the new short-form K-drama Can Ghosts Be Washed? (literal translation).
On May 21, it was officially confirmed that Kim Hyang Gi and Kang Sang Jun will lead the upcoming fantasy romance K-drama Can Ghosts Be Washed?
Can Ghosts Be Washed? will tell the romance story of a laundry shop owner who embodies ghosts every midnight and a ghost who has lost his memory. The story will be based on a popular webtoon.
The K-drama will have a total of 62 episodes, each 1 to 2 minutes long. All episodes will premiere today.
Can Ghosts Be Washed? can be viewed through the streaming platform Daum Loop.
Kim Hyang Gi will portray the role of Jeong Se Jeong, the owner of the haunted laundry shop. She currently runs the laundry shop that she inherited from her father. She can summon the ghosts roaming around the world every night for two hours starting at midnight.
This will be the first K-drama project of Kim Hyang Gi for the year. After this, the actress will also star in the upcoming Netflix original series Cashero with 2 PM's Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hye Joon, Kim Byung Chul, Kang Han Na, and Lee Chae Min.
Kim Hyang Gi is also expected to star in the upcoming films It's Okay to Just Breathe Next to You, Breathless Love, and more.
Kang Sang Jun, on the other hand, will portray the role of Ma Do Jun. He is an uninvited ghost guest who comes to the laundry shop after business hours.
This will also be Kang Sang Jun's first project for the year. In 2024, Kang Sang Jun was booked and busy with the K-dramas Dear Hyeri, Doctor Slump, Flex X Cop, and Marry My Husband.
