On September 8, the production team of SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Doctor X released character stills of Kim Woo Seok.
Doctor X is a medical drama that follows Kye Su Jeong (Kim Ji Won), a genius surgeon who proves what it truly means to be a doctor through skill alone as she "operates on" a medical system steeped in absurdities.
In the K-drama, Kim Woo Seok plays Park Tae Kyung, a kind-hearted and highly motivated but charmingly clumsy new intern doctor at Guseo University Hospital. His once-peaceful daily life begins to change when he meets Kye Su Jeong, a dark hero genius doctor who ignores power struggles and strict rules and focuses solely on her surgeries.
The stills capture various moments from Park Tae Kyung's first steps into the grueling life of an intern. Although he may seem inexperienced, Park Tae Kyung is brimming with enthusiasm as he struggles to adapt to life at the hospital.
Meanwhile, unlike Park Tae Kyung, who cannot take his eyes off Kye Su Jeong as if determined to learn even one more thing from her, Kye Su Jeong remains completely focused on her work without even giving him a glance. Attention is focused on what changes Kye Su Jeong, who has no interest in anything but surgery, and the passionate Park Tae Kyung will bring about in each other after they meet.
