Netflix's upcoming rom-com series Take Charge of My Heart has confirmed its release date for October 9.
Take Charge of My Heart follows Baek Ho Rang (Kim Young Kwang), whose artificial heart is running out of battery and Na Bo Bae (Chae Soo Bin), a woman with the power to generate electricity.

Kim Young Kwang transforms into Baek Ho Rang, a chic third-generation chaebol, while Chae Soo Bin takes on the role of Na Bo Bae, a drama writer with a special ability.
After being struck by lightning as a child, Na Bo Bae has lived a solitary life because even a simple touch would electrocute those around her.
Meanwhile, TS Resort Executive Director Baek Ho Rang has two major matters before him: a surgery to replace his artificial heart battery and the succession of the TS Group. When the two meet by chance, Na Bo Bae realizes that, unlike with other people, her ability doesn't work on Baek Ho Rang.
However, their connection does not end there. On the day of Baek Ho Rang's surgery, a power outage occurs at the hospital, causing his artificial heart battery to run out. Then, for an unknown reason, Baek Ho Rang's artificial heart battery begins to recharge whenever he is near Na Bo Bae.
At the same time, Na Bo Bae, a writer whose contract is nearing its end, receives a mission from her director to create a story. She then proposes a contract to Baek.
Baek Ho Rang's request: "Just charge me for exactly three months until my next surgery."
Take Charge of My Heart will be released exclusively on Netflix on October 9. Watch the teaser here.
