Lee Min Jung has spoken up about her five-year hiatus in the acting industry.
On August 19, actress Lee Min Jung shared the reason why she's been on a hiatus for five years now. The actress talked about her plans to return to acting.
Lee Min Jung shared, "A lot of people keep asking me why I'm not working. Many also asked if I still have plans to go back to acting." She answered, "I actually filmed a K-drama before I was pregnant with my second child. There's also another series that I worked on before I opened my YouTube channel last year."
She also added, "The reason why I feel like my hiatus is getting longer is because the works I was supposed to be in were unintentionally delayed, had issues, or I had other plans to do."
She then reassured viewers, "I will greet you with a new work hopefully within the next year."

Lee Min Jung was last seen in the 2020 hit K-drama Once Again with Cheon Ho Jin, Cha Hwa Yun, Lee Jung Eun, Oh Dae Hwan, Lee Sang Yeob, and more.
She was supposed to greet viewers with the upcoming K-drama Villains earlier, but due to different issues, the K-drama's broadcast was pushed back. According to reports, this series will officially premiere this year. The K-drama will be led byYoo Ji Tae, Kwak Do Won, Lee Bum Soo, Kim Jae Yong, and Ryu Ji Won.
Lee Min Jung is also starring in the upcoming MBC K-drama Okay, Let's Get a Divorce with Kim Ji Suk, Gu Sung Hwan, Lee Hyun Jin, Wang Bit Na, and Jung Eui Jae. The K-drama is scheduled to premiere next year.
Currently, Lee Min Jung is active on YouTube, where she updates fans on her life as the wife of actor Lee Byung Hun, a mother, and an actress.
